Rustique Cottage Deux-Story Lac qui dort 10-12 personnes. Grande cour clĂŽturĂ©e avant et Ă©tapes Ă  quai sur le lac en arriĂšre. La maison dispose de 4 chambres: 1 lit king size, 5 lits doubles et 1 double. Deux chambres Ă  l'Ă©tage et 2 en bas. Salon / Salle Ă  manger. We really loved the cottage, it was so cozy and so spacious enough for our group of 12, the check in was really easy to do, the kitchen was adorable and having available wi-fi was awesome, we all are hoping to come and stay again next year. Also the owners are very nice and made us feel at home.

Perfect location. Home is clean and spacious. Central air plus room air conditioners kept us nice and cool. With smaller kids, it was an easy walk from the park to the house for afternoon naps. Owners are great.

I had an amazing time staying in this cottage. My family loved it as well. Great location. Right next door to entrance and parking right in front for 3 cars. The host was great as well, super kind. I will be booking with family again for sure so plz remember is Ruth.

This place has character!!

Super cute, nostalgic cottage in a great location with plenty of room for a large family gathering. We had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again. The owners are very attentive and friendly also.

Great stay next door to Indiana Beach.

Very clean. Ruth was wonderful. Big rooms with good kitchen. Walk to Indiana Beach was about 4 minutes. p.s. bring your own Roku stick and extra floor fans. We will return to this house.

Relaxing Getaway

Beautiful building with a very rustic vibe inside. The view of the lake and the park from the back patio was picturesque. Despite being so close to the park, noise was not a problem.

Best location

This cottage is located right next to the south entrance of Indiana Beach, which was very convenient. We also enjoyed fishing off of the pier while watching the rollercoasters. We had such a great time!

The Lake Cottage

We had an amazing time at this darling cottage. Everything was very clean and the check in and out process was so easy. This location is wonderfu. Ruth was so sweet and we look forward to renting from them again in the future.

Good location! Clean and had a stocked kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Nice open space for family gathering. The view of the lake was covered by trees and the steps down to the pier are a bit uneven. Furniture is older, house is older and rustic, not updated. Bringing all the sheets, blankets and towels we needed was a lot to pack. Would have been nice if those things were provided. But we had fun and enjoyed our stay so that was the main thing!

Family get away

Location was unbelievable, we have parked farther away from the entrance. House was perfect for 12 of us, location on the lake was perfect, dock was very nice and fire pit area was great. There was nothing to complain about and the owner always responded immediately when I sent her a message.

Charming house on Lake Shafer

This charming house was very clean and spacious. Location to Indiana Beach is outstanding. The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed floating in the lake off the deck (conveniently located in the no wake zone). If you prefer a little separation from the boardwalk and/or privacy but still want to be walking distance to IB, this is the place for you. We will be back!

Awesome home with all the amities

Ruth is a great host! Our grandkids love this place greatly because of the proximity to Indiana Beach. we would take the young one's home for their nap while the older kids would stay. we were able to go back and forth as we desired. We rented a pontoon boat for 2 days and docked by their pier. we are already making plans for next summer.

Absolutely the perfect spot

We absolutely loved it. Its the perfect location, clean and lots of room in the house. Plenty of beds for everyone. The outside decks and patio were great to sit around a fire and or enjoy the views of the lake and the lights of Indiana Beach. The owner of the home was very nice and helpful of anything I needed and answered any questions I had. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you so much for a great easy smooth transaction. Highly Recommend

Loved our stay at this property!!! The owners, who live right next door, and their daughter who lives close were all amazing. Answered all our questions immediately throughout our stay. The house and property were perfect for our whole family. Plenty of room for a big group. We brought our pontoon. Was so nice to be able to jump on at anytime of the day and be on the lake or just be on the dock fishing too!! We also enjoyed the fire pit area every night. Whole family have season passes to Indiana Beach Park, which entrance is right next to the house The grandkids made several trips a day to the park. Even though house was next to entrance we felt very secluded and plenty of privacy in back of the house looking out onto the lake. Between the lake and park everyone was happy the entire stay and no one was ever “bored” with nothing to do. It is an older home, so if your looking for fancy it’s not but it is very clean and we enjoyed it so much!!! We have already booked for next year. Thanks again Ruth, Jim, and Laura for everything!!!

Very nice older home with lots of room

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of room for family and right next to Indiana Beach! Two refrigerators was very helpful. Everything was clean and the owners were very sweet. We loved the back sitting area with the fire pit and dock over looking the lake and Indiana Beach. The only major inconvenience was having to bring all our own bedding, towels and wash rags. Though this was clearly stated in the property description and pictures, I missed it. The checkout process of having to clean everything including the floors, and then waiting for owner to inspect it before returning the cleaning deposit was also inconvenient. But again, it was stated in the description. Honestly I think I would have rather just paid the $80 and left for the long drive home. A key drop box would be nice also. But the inconveniences would not keep me from staying here again! Thank you so much for letting us stay with you!
