The community is less than 10 minutes from I-85, 30 minutes to Clemson University, and just 5 minutes from a Lake Hartwell boat landing. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, Lake Hartwell Villas offers a perfect blend of relaxation and recreation in a picturesque setting. The condo is located just minutes from Lake Hartwell, boat ramps, and nearby parks with free on-site parking for two vehicles directly in front of the unit. There’s secured boat and rv storage on site for an additional $50. Most attractions—including High Falls Park, South Cove Park, and Clemson University—are just a short drive away. Downtown Westminster, Seneca, and grocery stores are all within 10-20 minutes by car. And don’t miss Chau Ram County Park, just a scenic drive away—featuring a 40-foot waterfall, riverside beach, and a suspension bridge over the Chauga River. It’s a favorite local gem for hiking, swimming, and picnic days. There is no public transportation, so a personal vehicle is highly recommended to explore the area and enjoy the lakes, parks, and trails nearby. This home is nestled near a forest and close to a large body of water—so while we take every step to exterminate and keep the property clean, the occasional Palmetto bug or friendly local critter may still sneak in. Pack bug spray! Mosquitoes are active here. They’re more of a surprise than a threat (we promise!), but we want guests to know ahead of time that a rare visitor isn’t a reflection of cleanliness—it’s just part of being tucked into nature in the South. Please let us know a little about your pet before booking. We kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture and are never left unattended inside the unit unless crated. ‱ Parking: Free parking is available for two vehicles just outside the unit. There’s plenty of space for trailers or boats if you’re heading to the lake —for an additional fee —in a secured and gated area. ‱ Quiet Hours: This is a peaceful, low-traffic community. Please respect quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM to ensure a restful environment for all. ‱ No Parties or Events: This condo is a quiet retreat—not a party space. Unauthorized gatherings or events are not allowed and may result in immediate cancellation of your stay. ‱ Wooded Setting: While you’re just minutes from town, the property backs up to a beautiful wooded area. Guests often spot deer, songbirds, and the occasional squirrel from the balcony. ‱ No Smoking Indoors: Thank you for helping us keep the space clean and fresh for all future guests. Central Air, but condo is two floors with one HVAC unit. It can get about 10 degrees warmer upstairs during the summer months in the South Carolina humidity and heat. Personal fans recommended.

First off the place is very nice and is located in a beautiful location near the lake. I don't like giving negative reviews. It has great potential I just believe that whoever the owner is paying to clean and prep the place is dropping the ball. Upon arrival the place wasn't very clean. There were used to Clorox wipes laying all around and the rug hasn't been vacuumed. The listing showed that soap and shampoo would be provided and it wasn't. Luckily my son had brought some. There were no trash bags on the premise to throw our trash away. The bed in the master bedroom was horrible.
