Excellent stay! Manager Brian was extremely responsive and helpful. Staff were magical, cleaning without being intrusive. View and space of master suite was beautiful. We rented golf carts, but the location is central enough you could get by without them. Birds, monkeys, iguanas all in a private paradise. Would absolutely stay again!

Excellent Stay with Great Pool Area

Very nice home that was as advertised. Great communication with property manager and friendly staff. Helpful guidance on tours and restaurants in advance. We spent lots of time in the well landscaped back yard and pool. The home is well located for town, the beach and a grocery store. We rented a golf cart and would recommend that to anyone that does not want to walk on uneven, unpaved roads at night.

Papaya House

We absolutely loved staying here, it was close to everything we needed to be close to and very close to the main strip of town. We loved the pool and felt we had everything we needed at the house to ensure a great vacation! Highly recommend to a big (8-10) group of people!

June 2025 Casa Papaya Villa - Tamarindo CR

Overall a very enjoyable stay in a very nice 5 bedroom property. Only concerns were some mechanical issues with security gate (which were addressed and resolved promptly) and house could use some TLC in spots (many roof tiles broken/missing and some minor areas inside could use some sprucing up). Those minor issues did not affect our ability to have a fantastic week in Tamarindo. Would give Casa Papaya two thumbs up, would recommend and would definitely stay there again. Favorite part of the property was the outdoor area in and around the pool/waterfall. Pura Vida!

Beautiful home, Fantastic Location

Loved our stay here in Tamarindo. Beautiful home, everyone loved the pool area. Did not have a rental car but renting golf carts was perfect to get around town and to the beach. Very clean and well kept. House staff were wonderful. Easy to get in touch with property manager with anything needed, quick response. Wonderful experience. Family of 7, with kids age 11-19.

Casa Papaya is Amazing

Incredible house with multiple balconies, big rooms, comfortable beds, and an unreal pool with a waterfall! The house is huge, extremely well cared for and the service was amazing. Best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. The surfing there is awesome! We couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to stay at Casa Papaya!

Casa Papaya for the win!

We had a lot of plans during our 2 week stay with our group and I can honestly say that without the comforts and relaxation that this place afforded us we wouldnt have pulled it off. Such great ambiance and the vibe was perfect. From Howlers in the morning to pool side waterfalls in the evening it was magical everyday and nite. Gated parking for our van was ideal. The staff was amazing and very attentive, keeping the place spotless for us the whole time. So fun and amazing that there is no way we wont be back next year and I cant wait!

A slice of paradise!

We loved everything about our stay. Our favorite things were the jacuzzi on the balcony, pool oasis outside, and the location! We could walk everywhere in a few minutes. We really loved having morning coffee while watching the neighborhood Monkeys and squirrels

Slice of Pura Vida

This is an amazing place to stay for a large group staying in Tamarindo. This was the second time we’ve stayed here. We love having a private place but close to town. This property offers everything you need from comfortable bedrooms, cooking needs and private pool.

Great stay. The house was great and the pool area was amazing. It’s walking distance to town, but renting carts make it much easier. The staff and are house are top notch.

Such an amazing property. It's really hard to do it justice with pictures, but our group agreed it was hands down the best place we'd ever stayed. The location was also perfect for heading out and checking out all tamarindo had to offer.

Casa Papaya!

Amazing property all around from the beautiful landscaping, pool, daily maid service and location just to name a few. Communication was great with the property manager and very attentive to all our needs. Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Beautiful Oasis!!!!!

Everything about our trip was 5 star! Working with the team of managers, including Carolina and the entire staff at Casa Papaya was a delight. So accommodating! We loved the location. The house and the beautiful gardens surrounding the home were lush. Everything was very clean and tidy at all times. The house / property was absolutely great; the pictures don't do it justice. The staff was awesome!! The location is perfect. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The whole experience exceeded my (our) expectations.
