Unique. Dans une catégorie à part; Casa Velas est niché sur une propriété de 7,5 acres, avec plus de 200 mÚtres (675 pieds linéaires) de façade sur la plage, dans le secteur le plus privé de la plage de quatre miles de Playa Grande, dans le parc marin national de Las Baulas. Ce complexe spacieux est à quelques pas du bord de l'eau et offre une vue sur la plage et les couchers de soleil spectaculaires depuis pratiquement tous les points de vue.

La trĂšs grande piscine (oĂč vous pouvez rĂ©ellement nager des longueurs et les enfants peuvent rĂ©ellement jouer), est Ă  seulement quelques pas de la plage et idĂ©alement situĂ©e entre le bar Tiki, la maison principale et la maison d'hĂŽtes - le tout entourĂ© de beaux jardins plantĂ©s de palmiers , des arbres fruitiers et des fleurs qui attirent des singes, des oiseaux exotiques, des iguanes et de nombreuses autres espĂšces sauvages du parc.

Avec trois suites parentales et deux chambres réguliÚres (toutes avec salles de bains adjacentes, climatisation et TV), une cuisine entiÚrement équipée avec vue sur l'océan, trois salles à manger et des espaces de vie intérieurs et extérieurs, Casa Velas est la maison de vacances idéale pour les groupes d'un ou plusieurs des familles.

La Villa est conçue de maniÚre à intégrer les différentes zones d'activités tout en permettant l'espace et l'intimité de ses clients.

Si vous planifiez votre voyage entre octobre et mars, vous aurez le privilĂšge d'assister Ă  la nidification des majestueuses tortues luths, parfois juste en face de la maison principale.

L'entretien du jardin / piscine et la sĂ©curitĂ© 24 heures sont fournis. Le mĂ©nage est assurĂ© tous les autres. Notre incroyable chef privĂ© est Ă©galement disponible Ă  votre demande - tous contribuant Ă  vous offrir l'expĂ©rience de plaisir, de jeu, de dĂ©tente et de bien-ĂȘtre qui dĂ©finit la vie au Costa Rica.

Une promenade de cinq minutes vous amĂšnera Ă  l'estuaire qui sĂ©pare la Playa Grande immaculĂ©e de Tamarindo - oĂč vous trouverez une abondance de restaurants, boutiques et vie nocturne. Un panga vous fera traverser pour une somme modique.

We loved our stay here! We had a big group of 12 people and the house along with the 2nd casita on the property was perfect for all of us! What makes this house so perfect is the outside area with the amazing pool and being only steps away from the beach. Playa grande is by far the best of the 6 beaches we visited while staying in Costa Rica! Perfect waves for our older kids the farther you go out but also perfect for our younger kids! We took surf lessons right outside our house and my older kids were safe to go to the beach to play whenever they wanted cause we were so close. We loved having AC in the bedrooms and Raquel comes and cleans daily which was very nice! Sher the property manager was available at all times and planned all of our excursions for me as well as a message at the house and a personal chef for 3 of our meals! I loved that the prices were all discussed ahead of time. It was a great for us to stay home for dinner with small children and not worry about preparing or clean up after dinner! Definitely worth it! I loved our stay here and would definitely come back!

Casa Velas is a beautiful home with direct access to the lovely Playa Grande. It is the best of both worlds, a beach with very few people and the ability to enjoy the lively beach town of Tamarindo.

Simply perfect
steps from the beach, well taken care of and secure. Team onsite and host took excellent care of our family with fresh cooked meals, rentals and any last minute needs. Do Not stay in Tamarindo as it’s a dirty tourist trap, this is a beautiful spot sitting on four miles of uncrowded beach. We can hardly wait to come back, thanks!

Beautiful Beach Location

This review is for the property, which was as advertised. All spaces are thoughtfully furnished, comfortable, and well-maintained. The outside areas are remarkable and beautiful with mere footsteps to a beautiful beach. The owner and her staff were accommodating and supported us when we needed information or assistance (e.g., language translations, transportation, etc.). Our grandkids LOVED the beach and pool. We all loved quality family time in a beautiful place.

Great Getaway

Casa Velas was delightful and the proximity to the pool and beach was perfect for us with young children. They communicated well and you must have Darling cook for you. It made the whole trip relaxing and delicious. Its not the Hilton and bring bug spray, but we all loved it. It was a great way to celebrate a birthday and family.

Second Stay, Just as Magical!

This was my second stay and 9 years later, it was just as perfect as I remembered. It’s worth every penny and more. Ideal for everything from a big family trip to a romantic getaway, I truly can’t recommend this place highly enough!

paradise in Costa Rica

Can't say enough about Ana's house. The pictures do not do it justice. The pool area and sitting area was where we spent most of our time and it exceeded all expectations. The house itself was perfect for what we needed and my wife and I stayed king size suite in the separate dwelling with the four grandchildren staying below us. We were a party of twelve and had plenty of room. The description of the house states close to the beach, and that is no exaggeration. We were on the beach which was unbelievable to walk, swim and watch the beautiful sunsets. The staff with the place were the nicest people you could meet and were helpful in so many ways. We had three meals prepared at the house and we wish we could have done more. If you are looking for the perfect place on the beach in Costa Rica, Ana's house is a must.

Fun in the sun

The property is an amazing location, beautiful beach almost to yourself. The high light of our stay was the chef and property caretaker. They were so friendly and helpful with anything we asked. The meals were so delicious.

Family getaway

Check in and communication was well organized and easy. The place was in a wonderful location - right on the beach and also had a big pool the adult kids quite enjoyed. We will definitely recommend to friends and hopefully make it back again :)

A bit of paradise

Beautiful property right on the beach. Generously-sized pool. Lots of room for our family of 10 to spread out. We sat pool-side and watched the parrots and vultures. Huge lizards and a tiny frog came by to visit. Our cook, Darling, prepared delicious meals. Lots of beans and rice and fresh tortillas. Mounds of fresh papayas, pineapples, etc. The waves are perfect! Big enough to be exciting, but safe enough for children and beginning surfers. A fabulous family vacation!

Paradise

The house was perfect for the high graduates. They really enjoyed the pool and beach. Ariel & Veronica were the highlight of our stay. They were always available to answer questions and help when needed. We used Veronica for all our cooking need and boy was it worth it. Outstanding cooking, the food was amazing!! Relaxing getaway

Casa Velas is the perfect oasis on Playa Grande away from the busy action in Tamarindo. It’s easily walkable to the boats to cross to Tamarindo for restaurants and shopping. Veronica is an amazing chef. I highly recommend having her cook meals. It was so nice to not worry about feeding a group of 14! Gorgeous property and lots of space for all. Definitely would stay at Casa Velas again.

Piece of Paradise

You cannot beat the pool and ocean view. Some upgrades would be nice such as air in the main living areas, lots of ants (some to be expected in this natural area), tvs that work. But everything that we came for was amazing. Property manager was in touch and made sure everything got handled in a timely manner. Thank you!

Fantastic house right on Playa Grande beach!

We were family and friends of a group of 10. We had a fantastic stay! Veronica and Ariel were fantastic! I highly recommend having Veronica cook breakfast for you each morning as well as dinner when you are not going out. The house is located right on the beach and has a huge pool and tons of space! Will definitely come back! Ana
please put a WiFi router extender in the second house. Bedrooms had air conditioners. Could definitely use one in living room area.

Fantastic Location

Location is 5 star - beautiful large group facilities, grounds and beach couldn’t be any closer. House is large but is typical beach house that’s surviving elements and closer to 3.5 star. Great communication with property manager. Vero cooked a two dish meal for us one night and it was off the charts good. Came out to be roughly $44 USD per person for nine of us with labour and groceries that Ariel picked up. Perfect place for family and just far enough away from the bustling Tamarindo which is not our style.

Secluded beach retreat with amazing food

We stayed with one other family, 13 of us in all. The house was beautiful and met all of our needs. The beach was beautiful and mostly empty. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves. The waves were perfect for learning how to surf. The best part was the meals Veronica prepared and served on the beautiful outdoor patio. It was simply amazing. We wish we would have stayed longer. Communication with the host was great. I hope to come back!

Great assistance from Ana

Unfortunately we were unable to stay at this property due to damages the main house sustained prior to our arrival. Ana was amazing in helping us find another location to stay at. She continued to check in and make sure we were taken care of by a neighboring property. The location of the house is amazing and we were extremely sad we couldn't stay at her property. If we were to return to Costa Rica, this property will be on the top of the list to stay at. Also, the concierge associated with this property was amazing! We booked a day trip ziplining, Cloud Forrest tour, lunch and transportation and a family photo shoot on the beach with an amazing photographer.

Location couldn’t be better

This property was spacious and the location directly beachfront cannot be beat. We loved being able to step out on to the sand anytime we liked. The main house where the kitchen and living room are has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is another building that has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one of those bedrooms has 4 beds in it). The property sleeps 15 comfortably and has bathrooms for each bedroom which is really nice. The pool and outdoor lounge areas are private and comfortable. I would rent here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect location, Lovely property, Enjoyable time!

We loved our time at Casa Velas! My husband and I stayed here with my sister and her husband. It was a lovely, quiet property for the 4 of us. We enjoyed the two large master suites (one in guest house) with air conditioning, comfortable shady areas for coffee time, reading, and eating meals, the huge pool (also with a shady side) for cooling off. PERFECT location! Just step through the trees to the beach! Easy, 5-min drive to lots of restaurants. Live music and delicious food at Rip Jack and Sugarbees. We also loved Cafe Mar Azul, Malinches, and tiny Taco Star at end of long walk down Playa Grande! Property Managers are on site, cleaning the pool daily and taking care of things. We are already thinking about our next stay at Casa Velas!

My husband inherited the property from his family. Initially there was absolutely nothing so we would go camping. It was fantastic. Casa Velas was one of the first constructions in Playa Grande. When the first house was built, regulations did not require that there be a setback from the public area, so it was built as close to the beach as possible. We later opened up the house to to keep the feeling of outdoor living that we love so much. We have traveled around the world and have not yet found a place quite like our beautiful Playa Grande.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

No other house in the area is as close to the ocean as Casa Velas. We do not walk to the beach. We can be in the comfort of the villa and be steps from the ocean.
The large swimming pool, also steps from the ocean, has the compound wrapped around it - very convenient to watch over the younger guests.
The luxury of great open space to generate a delicious sense of freedom.
