Alerte à Malibu # 105: Nichée le long de la célèbre rue commerçante du front de mer de Provincetown, cette maison a tout pour plaire! À quelques pas des meilleurs endroits du centre-ville et d’un accès direct à une magnifique plage de la baie, cette maison est l’occasion idéale pour profiter de toute la détente et de l’excitation que P-town peut offrir. La façade de la maison est équipée d'une grande terrasse et de sièges avec une vue imprenable sur le port de Provincetown, complétée par un accès direct à la plage en dessous. Le premier étage de la maison comprend une cuisine, une salle à manger, un salon, deux salles de bain complètes et trois chambres à coucher. Les 1ère et 2��me chambres sont toutes deux dotées d'un lit queen-size et la 2ème chambre dispose également d'une salle de bains privative complète. La 3ème chambre offre un lit double ainsi que des vues sur le front de mer! Un escalier en colimaçon mène à une mezzanine ouverte idéale pour la lecture en toute tranquillité. Elle est adjacente à une 4ème grande chambre privée avec 1 lit king-size et 2 lits jumeaux. Cette maison est sûre de plaire avec un espace pour tout le monde dans un emplacement très convoité de Provincetown! Longue plage entre directement dans la ville, couchers de soleil, observation de voiliers, clamming, feux d'artifices, etc., le tout à partir de cette maison artisanale classique de Provincetown!

Halloween Weekend 2018

Shared this house with five friends of mine and we had a great time. House was well stocked and kept, and perfect for the amount of people that we had. A little off the beaten path, but all in all, we would totally stay here again and had a great time.

Awesome spot!

The property has a fantastic view - a great location - it is quiet so you can relax, and is close to town for fun and restaurants. However, the oven broke twice, and the kayaks were unavailable. Hopefully, they will fix that because I will stay at this property again.

Misrepresented Property

We walked in and immediately walked out. This property has a flimsy spiral staircase that is the only access to the upper loft with no bathroom. In emergency it will very difficult to navigate downstairs. The furnishings are not inviting and undesirable. The photos that represent this property are from from accurate.

Awesome location

It was all about the location, doesn't get any better. You could definitely put a few thousand into it to the house to make it more appealing, starting with curtains. Really see through curtains, no beach towels, and the customer service was poor. The the neighbors to the right kept talking right outside the bedroom with the see through curtains and kept activating the light sensors, and on one occasion walked through the front yard while I was in bed. Coming from California I called to inquire about whether the house had beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes etc. and was told she didn't know if these items were available but that we could rent or buy these items. Really!

Best Family Vacation!

What a pleasure dealing with such a professional company. I received calls, and emails and updates in preparation for our stay! Then they called to check on how everything was twice! Wow! Then follow up was impressive. Everything was so wonderful. ….the view was stunning, …big open living space, steps to the ocean, kayaks and floats, walk to town, comfortable home, cozy beach vibe, it was exactly as pictured! We were bummed to leave! Hoping for two weeks next year! ❤️❗️

The Good, Bad, and the Unacceptable.

The good: This house is nicely located in a quiet spot in the East End. The beach front, as well as the views, are beautiful. An easy 20 min walk to town. The not so good: The interior of the house is fine, but in dire need of updates. Beds were uncomfortable and creaked incessantly. The bathrooms need a desperate refresh. The air conditioners are mostly ineffectual. LR windows with the promise of cool sea air had no screens. No washer or dryer and only one bath towel allotted per person. The kitchen is inadequate, lacking a dishwasher, or a working stove (more later). Updates merely attempt to make the property serviceable. Oh, and mixed in with a box of child friendly DVD’s was a porn title discovered by my 14yo. The exterior and the smaller unit next door, are the ugly ducks of the East End. The street entrance is shared by both structures. Rusting bikes, garbage barrels, and refuse litter the way to the front door. It is a shame that the lovely view from the front porch is cluttered with broken plastic chairs, bent umbrellas, and items that likely lost functionality years ago. Updated pictures on VRBO would show this dilapidated home as an eyesore in a sea of well-tended homes. The unacceptable. On day 1, we found our stove didn’t work. Del Mar Properties sent a service tech who confirmed the stove needed to be replaced. DM was unsure on availability of a new stove, but offered a hot plate. Also, a senior DM rep would call me promptly. Two days later, no call and no hot plate. I called DM again, was assured management would call back and later a boxed hot plate appeared on the front porch…..like an Amazon delivery. Silence from DM until Friday morning, our last day, when maintenance informing me that they were coming to install a stove. I suggested they install it after check out, the next day. Later I was informed we had no choice. I disagreed and after a week of waiting, I finally received a call from an authority at DM. The woman insisted the installation be done that day and offered to buy lunch for our inconvenience. Too little, too late. I said “no” as it was pouring outside. She informed me that the contract gave them the right to do whatever maintenance they saw fit. Our last day and service folks pounding in the kitchen. Friendly, but left a mess. In the end, we negotiated a one day refund, which required another phone call on my part after the promised two week time frame had come and gone. Completely unacceptable!

Hi David, Thank you for your candor and the valuable feedback. We consider you a 5-star guest and strive to ensure this and all of our homes are maintained to a standard someone with your keen sense of quality has. Since your stay, we have invested about $5,000 in furnishing updates, A/C repairs and gotten the neighbor to cleanup much of his property. It looks fantastic! It is pretty AMAZING that we were able to get a brand new replacement stove the same week since appliances are currently back-ordered during the pandemic about 3-months. But then again, we are the type of company to pull off miracles in an attempt to provide 5-star service. While inconvenient - appliance installation pros are not available at the push of a button, and I very much appreciate your understanding that the installation had to occur as scheduled. How was lunch at Fanizzi's? Hopefully you were able to cook a few meals on the new stove! As the only Waterfront, Dog Friendly, sleeps 9 home in ALL of Provincetown - - this home of ours is not without its quirks but is architectural unto its own right. The high tide coming straight up to the large oversized waterfront deck is most enjoyable. I hope you had a great summer, and safe travels. Luke

Cozy house on the beaches of Ptown

This is a really great house! Myself and 5 friends stayed at this home during the fourth of July week in 2021. Unlike many other rentals in Ptown, this one is directly on the beach! Open your door and you are on the sand. Even during rainy days it was fun having a view of the ocean. Other nice things: - The hosts were very proactive and communicative up to and during the stay - We requested new towels and toilet paper in the middle of our stay and had those things the next day - Our hosts supplied us with a nice gift basket of wine and snacks. - A really nice porch to sit and chill or read on the beach - Gas grill was great for cooking dinner Other considerations: You are pretty far down commercial street. I had not stayed in this part of Ptown before; it's about 30 minute walk to the pier downtown. As a result, you def should get bikes for your stay; ours were rented from Provicetown Bikes which is the closest rental place to the house. The house is older, which has lots charm and coziness, but you aren't going to have the same amenities of a newer home (dishwasher, larger bathrooms, etc). There are also only 2 bathrooms; we made it work but had to have shifts for showers in the AM. The upstairs loft has a bunch of beds that worked fine for us, but don't give you as much privacy as the other bedrooms. Lastly, we cooked one night and for breakfast many of the days, and the kitchen has two fridges and lots of plates and drinkware, but it was weirdly missing that plastic thing you put under a dish rack, and there was no tea ball. I purchased both and left in the home, so now that's fixed! I would suggest two kitchen additions: a new tea kettle (the old one was rusty), and a new chef's knife (a good one goes for $90 on Amazon). Overall a great trip and I would certainly recommend this home for people looking for a place to stay on the beaches of Ptown.

The property is perfectly located. Great access to the beach. Wonderful fireplace in the home. The interior is open and very spacious. The house could use a little freshening up and a thorough cleaning but we had a very nice stay.

Excellent location

My husband and I rented this beach cottage July 18 - 25th. The property is a beach cottage. It provided all of the amenities necessary for a relaxed week at the beach. Note that even with air conditioning in the upstairs loft, it would have been very hot for sleeping. Luckily, we didn't need to use this space. The real benefit of renting this property is the location. It is directly on a great stretch of beach which we enjoyed every day of our vacation. I would recommend anyone who might rent this property to ensure they are very clear as to which parking space is appropriate to use as the neighbors are very quick to have vehicles towed. The property does not have laundry facilities and the management company provides one bath towel, hand towel and face cloth per guest. I would recommend bringing additional or asking the management company to leave extra. The property manager was responsive to requests and other than confusion about parking, our week was great.

Great Location

Great location and fantastic views. The house was well stocked with dishes and pans, linens etc. My only slight comment is it felt like it need a really good cleaning. But we all had a great time. I would rent this place again.

Nice quiet east end stay

Great location in quiet east end with nice beach. Common areas and deck were large and comfortable for family gatherings. Good separation of bedrooms from common areas for early to bed guests. Room unit air conditioners did a good job of keeping bedrooms tolerably cool on some very hot days. Beds, linens, pillows, towels all good. Overall a great place for a family group vacation.

Great location!

The property is a great location to town and a stunning view of the bay. We loved being on the water and my son loved the “sand box” on the deck and collecting shells at low tide. My only complaint is the beds are very uncomfortable and they need an air conditioner in the central living room. The coffee table is a funky piece, but it has a metal rod that juts out that my toddler hit his knee on. We ended covering it up with a towel while there. Otherwise it was a great stay and the good far outweighed the bad. We love Provincetown!!!

Lovely place, great location

We came for a family gathering; this was the perfect spot. The beach was busy but not overly so, we could see the town and all the way to the P-Town Light from the deck, and the walk to the wharf was only 20 minutes. Plenty of light inside, fantastic view out the front picture window, and adequate facilities. The weather even cooperated!
