Private Cozy Cottage House in Lincoln Park w/ Porch
About this space
Private coach house in the heart of Lincoln Park. Updated and light-filled with vaulted ceilings, skylights, and a large patio under the trees. Sleeps 4 with a queen bedroom and a queen pullout sofa in the living room.
Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, Sonos sound bar, Flat screen TV, and easy street parking. Walk to DePaul, Pequodâs Pizza, and coffee shops, or take the train nearby to Downtown, Wrigley Field, The Loop and more.
A peaceful retreat to relax and recharge while exploring Chicago.
The space
This is our little slice of Lincoln Park life â a 130 year old private coach house tucked behind our brick home on a quiet, tree-lined street. Itâs bright, calm, and full of light, with vaulted ceilings, skylights, and a big patio right off the living room where you can sit under the trees and start your day with coffee or end it with a glass of wine.
Inside, itâs open and easy. The living room has a large TV, Sonos sound bar, and a super comfy queen pullout sofa. The kitchenâs fully stocked with everything you need if you want to cook, though some of the best restaurants and cafĂ©s in Chicago are just a short walk away. The bedroom has a cozy queen bed, a well appointed built-in closet, and soft lighting that feels instantly relaxing. The bathroomâs clean, modern, and stocked with the basics.
Itâs the kind of space that feels like home the moment you walk in â peaceful, private, and close to everything.

A quick heads-up: thereâs some construction across the alley where a new home is being built. Work usually happens between 8amâ5pm. The home is mostly finished, so the noise is minimal and wonât disturb you inside â you likely wonât notice it from the bedroom or living area.
If youâre sitting out on the patio during the day, you may occasionally hear light construction sounds. We just like to mention it upfront so there are no surprises.
Guest access
Youâll have the entire coach house and your own private patio to yourself. The only shared space is the walkways and the laundry room, which is located in the basement of the coach house. To access it, youâll exit your unit and walk about 50 feet around the back. The laundry area is shared occasionally with our quiet downstairs tenant. Street parking is free and easy right out front â no parking restrictions on our block.
Other things to note
Neighborhood
Lincoln Park is one of the best spots in the city. Everythingâs close â DePaul University, Pequodâs Pizza, and a dozen great coffee shops are all within walking distance. On weekends, we love walking down to the lake or the Lincoln Park Zoo (about 30 minutes on foot) and grabbing brunch nearby. The area is safe, walkable, and full of energy, but the coach house stays tucked away and peaceful.
Youâre also right in the middle of it all â a quick ride to Downtown, Wrigley Field, West Loop, Bucktown, or Wicker Park. The Red, Brown, and Purple Line trains are about a 10-minute walk away, and there are always Ubers or bikes nearby.

Getting Around
Street parking is free and reliable, which is rare for Chicago. The L train is close, and once youâre on it, everythingâs just a few stops away â the Loop, the lake, Wrigley, all of it. If youâre staying local, itâs easy to explore Lincoln Park on foot â youâll find great coffee, food, and parks all within a few blocks.

House Rules
This is a quiet home â please treat it that way. No parties, no loud music, no smoking. Be mindful of the tenant downstairs when doing laundry. Mostly, just enjoy the space, respect it, and make yourself at home. Itâs been loved and cared for, and weâre excited to share it with guests whoâll appreciate it the same way we do.
