Rachel's charming cottage is a gem! Spotless and so inviting, we felt at home right away. It is nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood within walking distance of many restaurants and downtown shops. Lots of history in Apalachicola with near by beaches and parks to explore. Rachel's clear and prompt communication made it easy for us to relax and enjoy a carefree vacation.

THIS WAS A STRANGE STAY. THE BATHROOM SINK DRAIN WAS FILLED WITH MOLD, THERE WERE FLASHING MOTION DETECTOR LIGHTS THAT WENT OFF AND ON THROUGH OUT THE NIGHT. THE OWNERS WERE UNABLE TO SHARE AUTO ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS FOR LOCKING DOOR. KITCHEN ILL EQUIPED FOR PROPER COOKING. THE PROPERTY NEEDS LOVE AND REPAIRS AND CLEANING OUT AND RE SUPPLIED. SOAP DISPENSERS DIRTY AND EMPTY, BUT GENERALLY CLEAN. RECOMMEND COTTON LINENS.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re disappointed your stay didn’t meet your expectations. For clarity for future guests, we’d like to address a few factual points. The bathroom is professionally cleaned prior to each stay and does not have mold, and we provide sealed, individual toiletries rather than refillable soap dispensers. When the motion light was reported, it was addressed within an hour by removing the light bulb. Entry instructions were provided prior to arrival and again with detailed photos when requested. The home is accurately represented in the listing photos and description. The kitchen is stocked with essential cookware and tools, though the property is not marketed as a luxury or newly renovated space. We remain committed to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and honestly described home for our guests.

Host communicated quickly and efficiently. House was spotless. Although we didn’t cook, the kitchen has quality cookware. There’s a TV in every room. The front and back porch areas are simple yet quite enjoyable.
