- Carina is a 1-bedroom apartment with a loft, large living area, full kitchen, and balcony views of the lake and volcanoes 🌋

- Vela is a 1-bedroom apartment with its own living area, full kitchen, and beautiful views 🌿

- Pablo is a private guest suite with its own entrance, private bathroom, kitchen, and additional sleeping space ✨



Altogether, the layout is ideal for families and groups who want to spend time together while still enjoying room to spread out.

Casa Verapaz accommodates up to 12 guests across Carina, Vela, and Pablo.



- Carina: 2 King beds, 2 Full beds in the loft, 1 Queen sofa bed

- Vela: 1 King bed, 1 Queen sofa bed

- Pablo: 1 Queen bed, 1 Full sofa bed

One of the things that makes Casa Verapaz especially unique for groups is that Carina, Vela, and Pablo each have their own kitchen, along with space to dine and relax.



This gives guests the flexibility to cook independently when desired while still enjoying the experience of staying together on one lakeside property 🏡

The outdoor experience is one of the best parts of Casa Verapaz ✨ Guests can enjoy beautiful gardens, balconies with lake and volcano views 🌋, outdoor gathering spaces, BBQ areas, pool access, and a hot springs jacuzzi ♨️



The property also offers direct lake access, giving guests a unique way to experience the natural beauty of Lake Atitlán.

Casa Verapaz is located in Santa Catarina Palopó, a beautiful lakeside village known for its charm, culture, and stunning views of Lake Atitlán

🌿 The property has both road and lake access, is a short walk from the village, and is about 10 minutes by car from Panajachel 🚗🌊

Guest access

Guests will have access to the property, including Carina, Vela, and Pablo, as well as the outdoor areas, gardens, pool, jacuzzi, and lake access 🌿🌊



You will receive keys for both entrances to the property, with access from the main road and the lakeside. If you are driving, we will also provide a gate remote for easier entry 🚗



The pool, jacuzzi, and gardens are available for your enjoyment. Please note that the pool is not heated and the jacuzzi is heated on request ♨️



If you need anything during your stay, our caretakers are available to assist, and you can always message us 📲



For privacy and safety, the main house renovation area is gated off and not accessible to guests.

🔑 Check-in instructions will be sent 24 hours before arrival

👨‍👩‍👦 Maximum occupancy is 14 guests. No parties or events allowed.

🐾 Dog-friendly: $50 USD / 385 quetzales per pet, per stay. Please add your pet to the reservation.

🧺 Laundry service available: 60 quetzales per load

🚗 Parking: On-site parking is best suited for smaller vehicles. Larger vehicles may need to park on the street or in paid parking nearby.

🪜 Please note: As is common in our hillside lakeside setting, the property includes stairs and outdoor walking paths between some areas.

🎥 For safety, exterior security cameras are located at the front entrance, stairs, and rear entrances. They record video only, not sound.
