Notre unité au deuxiÚme étage offre un condominium décoré avec goût de 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain complÚtes qui a 1 roi (matelas Casper) et 2 lits jumeaux pour accueillir 4 personnes trÚs confortablement. De la terrasse sur le toit, vous pouvez voir le magnifique bleu océan Pacifique et le balcon de notre unité donne sur la cour privée magnifiquement aménagée avec une grande piscine.

La cuisine spacieuse est ouverte sur le salon et la salle à manger. La cuisine est équipée de toutes les commodités modernes; comptoirs en granit, cuisiniÚre, four, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, cafetiÚre, grille-pain, ustensiles de cuisine, vaisselle et ustensiles. Restez et cuisinez ou profitez des 40+ fantastiques restaurants à distance de marche que Tamarindo a à offrir.

Ce condo offre wi-fi, télévision par cùble, systÚme d'enceintes Bose, coffre-fort, blanchisserie, service de ménage, A / C dans les deux chambres et le salon. Enjoyed my stay. Apartment is well appointed and centrally located, just a short stroll from the beach and restaurants. Clean, convenient and comfortable accommodation. Property management was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Would book again!

Amazing location!

My husband and I love this place! Close to everything and the staff is wonderful. The pool is always clean and the room was stocked with everything you need to feel at home. We would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay! Felt safe and secure. Five minute walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Close to activities. The condo and grounds are very nice. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens. Pool was great. Would stay again.

Great place for families with young children

We loved this place! Sleep well with AC, then head down the hill (5 mins) to the beach until it gets too hot. Then head back to this sanctuary to swim in the pool and take a siesta. Then catch that perfect sunset every night. Rinse and repeat

First trip to Costa Rica

This VRBO was exactly what was stated online. It is the perfect place . So conveniently located to beach and for setting up tours. Not located right on the busy streets so quiet in the evening. Everything was in the VRBO . Plenty of towels, beach towels, hair dryer,kitchen was set up with every needed to cook meals. Super Markets nearby. There was no problem using US Dollars everywhere. Very nice beaches.

Perfect place in heart of tamarindo!

We loved the place. MarĂ­a the property manager was available and came by to make sure we were happy. The grounds keeper Roy spoke English and was helpful with the internet. The house was perfectly located and well appointed and clean, very well equipped kitchen. Very spacious and secure. Perfect 10 and a return without hesitation. Thank you For a wonderful time. We will request this home again.

Great location

Great location, easy walk to everything yet still far enough away so that it wasn't loud at night from the nightlife. Clean and well equiped. I liked the layout. Lots of storage, towels and blankets. My only negative is the bathrooms could use some tlc. The toilet seat was missing a bolt making every time we sat down a new adventure. It took 4 days to be repaired. The bathrooms are either water stained or haven't been deep cleaned in a while. Overall I would recommend

Location is good, refrigerator needs care or better yet a new one, it leaks. Master bedroom bed also needs improvement, better yet , change. Main negative issue is parking, Listing gives the impresiĂłn cars will be parked securely, actually you have to park in the parkway outside and car is watched by a guard outside. Not ideal , will not go back.

Excellent location & great unit, suitable for short term stays

Balcones is in an excellent location that has great access to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shops and the beach. We love the sense of community here and have met may people that have become life long friends - we have stayed in 3 different units and this was our second long term stay of 49+ days. Unfortunately as Balcones gains popularity, the prices are getting unrealistic and are very inconsistent even though some have been renovated. We tried to negotiate a 60 day stay in 2025, but were unsuccessful as we weren't prepared to pay the 72% increase. We highly recommend Balcones, but be aware if you're looking for a long term rental, do your homework as rates vary significantly between owners even in the high season.

Affordable family stay in Tamarindo

We enjoyed our stay at Balcones del Pacifico. The pictures are likely from before the owner started doing some changes to the condo as there is updated furniture and it could use some TLC (missing tiles, bathrooms need a bit of an update). There was great hot water and AC worked well although was quite loud in the second bedroom. The property manager was going to send someone out after our stay to check on it. She was responsive and also had a wasp nest removed quickly. The condo is in a convenient location to get to the beach and all of the amenities in Tamarindo. There is a supermarket very close by. The lot next to the building is vacant and has some activity going on, but there is a security guard that sits in the parking lot by the cars at night. For the price, we would stay again.

Great place! Great location!

I would highly recommend this property for a trip to Tamarindo. The unit is fully remodeled and is in very nice condition. The location is perfect for Tamarindo. It is super close to everything. You do not need a car if you stay here. Even doing some activities outside of town, the property manager set up ziplining and an ATV tour with a shuttle ride to the site. It is a 3-5 minute walk to the beach depending on how fast you walk. You can hardly be any closer to the beach even if you stay in the Diria. It is an easy walk to most restaurants and shops. The small grocery store is about 200 feet away which was nice to pick up food and drink for in the house. The air conditioning worked great. The pool is newly remodeled and very nice. We were able to park off the street and there is a security guard watching the property right there. They are almost done paving the street in front of the condo complex which is very nice. We would/will definitely stay here again!

Advertises on VRBO.ca but then when you pay
 exchanges your money into US dollars.

We were charged $1400.00 more than the stated price and have not had this matter resolved even after numerous exchanges with the owner and VRBO!!! The property had some issues that the Property Manager resolved right away but this property is not worth over $5,000. Canadian. We need a resolution from VRBO
 We have been waiting several months and no refund to us has been issued. We have never had this happen before as we book on VRBO.ca and have ALWAYS paid in Canadian Dollars.

Loved the location and accommodation!

Wonderful condo with great amenities. Everything you need to feel at home, including a fully equipped kitchen. The host even included basic spices for cooking and kitchen cleaning supplies. There’s a washer and dryer and it was nice to be able to wash our clothes before heading to our next destination. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable and the condo was very quiet even though many of the condos were occupied. The property is gated and there is a security guard on duty at night that monitors the property. The location is magnificent. We were within a stone’s throw of the market and bakery and enjoyed the 2 minute walk in the morning for delicious fresh baked bread and pastries. The hustle and bustle of Tamarindo town is less than a 5 minute walk away, but the condo is far enough away to still find peace and quiet. I did enjoy sitting on the balcony at night and listening to the sound of the music from downtown softly waifing through the trees, accompanied by the occasional roar of howler monkeys in a tree around the corner. The host was very responsive and gave us some great tips on where to dine. The people we met who either worked there or were visiting were friendly and welcoming. All in all, I recommend this lovely condo with a great view of the community pool below.

Super ville, excellent emplacement, condo adéquat

Nous avons passĂ© une semaine Ă  Tamarindo du 1er au 8 juillet 2016. Nous y avons passĂ© (famille de quatre avec ados) une superbe semaine. Petite ville trĂšs sympathique, typique et parfaite pour la farniente et le surf. En ce qui concerne l'emplacement du complexe de condos, il est idĂ©alement situĂ©. Tout prĂšs de la plage, du centre, des restos et des marchĂ©s, tout en Ă©tant assez Ă©loignĂ© pour obtenir tranquillitĂ© pour dormir. Pour le condo lui-mĂȘme, malgrĂ© la simplicitĂ© de son amĂ©nagement, c'est tout Ă  fait convenable. Bien qu'il aurait besoin d'un petit rafraichissement, nous nous y sommes sentis trĂšs confortable. La cuisine dispose de tout le nĂ©cessaire et la prĂ©sence de deux salles de bains complĂštes est trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©e. Bien que cela soit trĂšs subjectif, nous avons toutefois trouvĂ© le lit principal assez rigide. À la 3e journĂ©e, la gestionnaire nous a fait une visite et lui avons fait remarquer quelques petits dĂ©tails. DĂšs le lendemain, tout a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©glĂ©. Le mĂ©nage a Ă©tĂ© fait en entier et les lits changĂ©s. Puis l'un des climatiseurs s'est mis Ă  couler. DĂšs le lendemain, le technicien est venu rĂ©parer. Vraiment, le service Ă©tait impeccable. Pour ce qui est de la sĂ©curitĂ©, il y a toujours un gardien, de jour comme de nuit. Tous trĂšs sympathiques. La piscine a aussi Ă©tĂ© trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©e en fin d'aprĂšs-midi. Merci Ă  Maria et son Ă©quipe.

Great Location
 Close to Everything!

This is one of my favorite properties in Tamarindo. It is in the middle of everything and has access to everything Tamarindo has to offer. You are only a few steps from restaurants and bars, the supermarket, or the beach. In addition to having a great location, it has a great pool for those lazy days.
