Great apartment in a fun area with endless dining options. The apartment is also close to the river and bridges, making it an easy walk to many historic sites. Camilla was a perfect host. We travelled in the off season so it was nice to have a comfy sofa and Smart tv for a rainy evening at home. We hope to return soon!

We greatly enjoyed our 2 weeks at Camilla's apartment! As others mentioned, she was very welcoming and helpful. She scheduled a very early airport ride for us, was very responsive to questions, and we appreciated that we were able to drop off our luggage prior to check-in. The location is great - we had great meals at local neighborhood gems and walked everywhere that we wanted to go. We even saw some of the famous green parrots on the rooftop deck - the late fall sun means the rooftop temps could be a bit cool, as you would expect, but definitely still worth spending time there for the great views. The bathroom is larger than other 1 or 2 bedroom Rome apartments we've stayed in, which was especially nice for a longer stay. and went above and beyond in stocking the kitchen (coffee, cold drinks, sweet and savory snacks) - by far the most generous amount and nicest variety of snacks we have ever seen in a VRBO. The bedroom faces a busy road - despite newer windows, it's just a loud area. I would bring earplugs next time and would be delighted to stay here again!

Ours was a 5 night stay in beautiful Trastevere. Because of the proximity to everything from Camilla’s wonderful apartment, we feel like we’ve stayed for a few weeks!! Great A/C and local restaurants!!

Perfect location. Easy check-in. Clean, plenty of space, kitchen with great espresso machine and coffee to get the morning started. Too hot to take advantage of the rooftop but it was a great view and spot. A/C works very well. Good wifi. Restaurants within 30 feet... 2 of them... are both excellent. And close to the universities if you are dropping off a kiddo.

Great time in Trastevere!

We had a wonderful time in this apartment! The place was really clean, and Camilla even provided some drinks and snacks for us! The location was perfect. We walked out our door and had immediate access to anything we wanted in Trastevere, plus it was only a short walk to Piazza Navona or easy travel to anywhere else in Rome. The roof garden was a great bonus. We watched the sunset from the terrace one night. Camilla was an extremely communicative host and made sure our check-in and stay was stress free. We'd love to stay here again!

Great location.

The property is in a great location...very safe to walk arpund late at night and close to everything. We walked from there to the Vatican and all.arpund. the rooftop deck is lovely.

Excellent hostess, location and apartment

Communication was a breeze throughout the booking process and stay. Camilla arranged for a pick up at the airport. What a breeze to have someone waiting for your after your flight. Apartment is in a great area and the extras were greatly appreciated.

Excellent apartment in a perfect location

We spent 12 nights in this wonderful apartment in Trastevere in Nov 2024. The apartment has everything and the location is amazing, we'd have given it 10 stars. We walked everywhere: to the Vatican, to the Colosseum and Forum, just a few blocks around the backside to the Botanical Gardens, up the hill to the view points from the Faro and monument to Garibaldi, which you can see from the private rooftop balcony along with the Basilica di San Pietro. The parrots that live in the Gardens fly over the balcony. So many fantastic restaurants in the neighborhood, our favorite was Nannarella. We walked to Le Levain for croissant almost every morning. It's a short walk to Ponte Sisto and Campo dei Fiori. There are many mini-markets in the neighborhood and a Carrefour Express about a mile away. Camilla was incredibly responsive and we had no problems with our stay, we'd gladly stay here on future visits.

Rome stay in Trastevere

Wonderful location and access to all of Rome. The space was open, clean and comfortable for the time spent inside the location. The manager was helpful and available responding asap.for any needs. Overall a great roof top apt in the most active area in Roma. Grazie ancora

Perfect apartment

There is a reason this is a 5* place with an excellent host. When we arrived, checkin was super easy and we didn't have to go out immediately to pick up essentials. Coffee, milk, snacks, drinks and even a couple of cold beers in the fridge were waiting for us. The location is superb, just minutes away from more bars and restaurants than you can imagine. Being so close to the night life can make it a little noisy to sleep as the bedroom is at the street side, but you are in the centre of rome, so you should expect a little noise. The garden is at the back, up two flights of stairs so is a perfect, quiet oasis when its time to take a break. Everything is within walking distance, and we had a great 4 days exploring. Our only disappointment was that so many of the sights were surrounded in scaffolding, but that is hardly the host's fault. The apartment is quite spacious, especially for a city location with some great touches like usb charging points in the bedside lamps. We really cant fault this place and will definitely return.

Great Location!!

Trastevere is a wonderful place to hang out when in Rome. Such a great neighbor with shops and plenty of great restaurants. Camilla is a great hostess! The place was set up perfectly for our arrival. We would definitely recommend.

Lovely oasis of calm away from the bustle of Trastevere

The apartment was lovely, very comfortable and although just a minute of two from the centre of Trastevere it was so peaceful. The roof garden was very special offering a cool quiet place to relax after a busy day's sightseeing. A well equipped kitchen with a fantastic array of breakfast provisions. Camilla and Alessandra were wonderful hosts and made us very welcome.

Awesome stay right in the middle of Trastevere. Host was highly communicative and responded timely. Allowed a slightly early check in upon request. Clean rooms and complimentary coffee/snacks was appreciated. Would recommend!

Wonderful apartment

The rooftop garden is the star of the show, but everything about our stay here was great. Well-stocked kitchen, great location, easy access up one flight of stairs. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden - aber Abstriche bei der Terrasse

Zuerst das positive: die Kommunikation mit Camilla war sehr angenehm, es hat alles einwandfrei geklappt, die Wohnung hat eine gute Lage und war super sauber und bestens ausgestattet - sogar der KĂŒhlschrank war mit allerlei leckeren und sinnvollen Dingen gefĂŒllt. Auch die Möglichkeiten zum Verstauen der Kleidung usw. waren gut. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmĂ€ĂŸig, praktisch und ansprechend - man merkt, dass da jemand mitgedacht hat und sich (im positiven Sinne) MĂŒhe gegeben hat, alles so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. EnttĂ€uscht waren wir von der Lage der Terrasse: die Wohnung liegt im 1. Stock des Hauses, die Terrasse ist nur ĂŒber den Hausflur (also einen Weg außerhalb der Wohnung) im 3. Stock zu erreichen. HĂ€tten wir alle Bewertungen gelesen, hĂ€tten wir das vorab wissen können - haben wir aber nicht und die Beschreibung ist dahingehend auch im Nachhinein nicht zufriedenstellend. Ansonsten ist die Terrasse sehr schön, mit zwei Liegen, Sitzmöglichkeiten und riesigem Sonnenschirm ausgestattet, so dass sich die Kritik auf die *Beschreibung* konzentriert. Der KĂŒhlschrank ist eher schwer zugĂ€nglich, das dĂŒrfte nicht viel besser zu lösen sein, war aber manchmal etwas nervig. Die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer machte je nach Einstellungen in unterschiedlichen ZeitabstĂ€nden GerĂ€usche Ă€hnlich meinem Wecker, so dass die NĂ€chte eher unruhig waren - soll demnĂ€chst behoben sein, daher nur als Anmerkung außerhalb der Bewertung. Fenster geht zur Straße raus, ist auch "zu"nicht sehr leise.

Great apartment!

This is such a great location and apartment! Easy walking distance to great food and sites. Camilla is a wonderful host, is responsive, arranged transportation for us to the train station, and very helpful (plus she has the apartment fully stocked with snacks and drinks). Highly recommend. When we do return to Italy and visit Rome, we would book with her again without hesitation.
