Le 802 Sandpiper Dunes est situé sur le côté sud du Sandpiper Dunes Condominium, un bâtiment en bord de mer avec piscine extérieure. Cette unité 2 BR, 2 BA peut accueillir 8 personnes, sans compter les canapés LR. L'unité a été récemment rénovée (mise à jour), y compris une nouvelle cuisine, des planchers, des tapis et des meubles. Il est chic et confortable, avec une vue imprenable sur l'océan, la ville et la baie. Le salon principal comprend un parquet en bambou, un canapé en cuir sectionnel, un téléviseur Ultra-HD intelligent à écran large. BR récemment moquette et nouvellement meublé. L'endroit est magnifique.

Perfect Spot with Amazing Views

This condo was absolutely perfect! The view as soon as you walked in and from the balcony was beautiful, you could see both the ocean and the bay! The best part was waking up in the master bedroom and seeing and hearing the ocean as soon as you opened your eyes! It was perfect! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful weekend getaway!

Lovely condo with a perfect set up

We've stayed in the condo building last year and loved it's location and easy access to the beach. We decided on this condo because the layout was perfect for your family. The bunk room is really neat and the beds were comfortable. The condo is decorated so nice and is very comfortable. It was great to have a counter top ice machine in addition to the refrigerator ice machine. I reached out to Steve the owner to let him know there was only one parking pass and we quickly had another one. Super responsive to any contact I made with him. We would definitely stay in this condo again.

Great Location

The condo was the perfect size for us. Really enjoyed the views and location. It was walking distance to many restaurants, activities, and stores. It was very clean and well kept. Enjoyed the private balcony and there is plenty of parking including the two provided spots. The beach is steps from the building!

We had an amazing week! The condo is perfect, the terrace was amazing, the beds were comfy. Close to the boardwalk but far enough away from the crowds. The pool was great too.

Great location & beautiful condo

This was a great location, and beautiful property. The condo is clean, updated and well maintained. Steve was an excellent and communicative host. He gives you all of the information you need and check in is very efficient. I would definitely recommend this property and we hopefully will stay again next year!

The place was beautiful, the view was great! Only complaint was no sheets and towels provided , which isn’t that big of a deal, but more to remember and have to pack. Other than that, great stay!

We came for the car shows. The condo was cute, clean, and well equipped. We walked to lunch and to the OCCS for the car show. The price was reasonable and communication with the property owners was easy and appreciated. We highly recommend!

Great vacation spot!

Condo was spotless, nicely decorated and the kitchen had all that you would need for simple meal making. Stayed in many places in the past and this one was definatelly one of my favorites! Beach in your backyard with amazing views from the balcony. Location of the condo is perfect! Walking distance to many restaurants, Seacrest, Dead Freddie, Bad Monkey, Johnny's Pizza and many others. Nick's Mini Golf and King Kone ice cream also few blocks away. My family absolutely loved it!

The view and location of this property was perfect . I loved that it had access to the ocean view balcony from the living room and master bed room . The only thing I disliked was it was on the 8th floor and I’m afraid of heights . Other than that the condo was beautiful . I would stay again and recommend this to anyone .

Condo views are amazing, the location is perfect for folks that want to be close to the boardwalk but far enough away for a relaxing less crowded beach experience. Literally steps away from the beach. Showers have great water pressure. Pool was freezing cold. We didnt really use it more than 1x because it was just freezing. To the eye the condo appeared clean, but when removing the comforters to put ours on it was apparent that it had been a very long time since the mattress protectors had been cleaned. We removed and washed the mattress protectors ourselves, and let the owners know the other could use a wash. Also mattresses themselves were kinda gross. We also noticed a few carpetbugs (owner had pest control come and rectify within 24hrs). The bed in the master bedroom was missing a board at the bottom so you had to position yourself a certain way as to not tip the mattress (also notified the owner, but didnt hear back) . Overall, our trip was amazing. We would stay here again. Only advise would be fix the bed and wash the bedding even though folks bring there own.

Excellent all around!

The checkin process seamless. Everything was done prior to checkin day which made the process efficient! The cleanliness, space, the view… oh my gosh the views of the ocean and Bay… all above expectations! Everything was decorated beautifully! We cooked some meals in the condo and the amenities were plentiful! Any cooking pots/pans and utensils were there!!! The owners made sure their guests had everything needed! The only con was that we didn’t want to leave! Everything in the description of this condo exceeded our expectations!

Family Vacation at the Beach

Sandpiper Dunes is centrally located near shopping, restaurants, and activities. Having an electric key pad on the door was very helpful, no keys to worry about. This 8th floor unit was beautiful and offered delightful views of the beach, the bay, the moon, and the many campfires on the beach. The kids enjoyed the pool after a day on the beach. The "unload" parking spaces located near the luggage carts and access ramp made it very easy to check-in and out. The building is large, but the 3 elevators made coming and going to the condo easy. The trash chute was a welcomed surprise. The ice maker on the counter was appreciated. We were happy to see that the kitchen was very well stocked with lots of pots and pans, since we cook breakfasts and dinners most days. Hopefully we will be able to return again next July.

Terrible owner no communication

We arrived at 5:00pm to check in(4pm check in time) The condo was not clean. We had to wait until 6:30pm to get the condo. Needless to say not the best way to start our vacation. Sent the owner a message and got no response. Woke up the next morning to start fresh and the coffee maker did not work. Sent the owner a message and got a response 2 days later. He told me to buy a coffee maker and he would reimburse me. I am still waiting for my money and it has been a month. I have sent messages asking him when I would get the money and you guessed it no response. The tub was plugged, no response. The blinds were broken in the master and I had to fix them myself in order to sleep. If you rent this unit you should hope nothing goes wrong. The owner is just in it for the money and doesn’t care about you or your vacation.

Zero communication from owner

We have used VRBO for years and love it as an option to going through a realtor. This was the worst experience I've had and would not recommend renting from this owner to anyone. We used the Homeaway app to message Steve (owner) multiple times with basic questions about parking, if we would be getting a key or code to the door etc. He never replied to any of them. We trusted that the owner would be reaching out to get us the needed information for our vacation. To make a very stressful story short and to the point, we were in what VRBO's customer support called "stranded" claim #17199830 on the day of check in. We had called both numbers the owner posted on VRBO and again used the message service through the app since the owner did not provide his email and no answer. Check in was at 4:00 so we went to the unit (we rented 3 hours from home and drove to OCMD that day). Luckily the cleaner was there and we shared that we had no way of contacting the owner. She texted him (with no answer) and then had the owner's brother's phone (who also called and had no answer). The cleaner gave us her code to the door since no one could contact the owner. 4 and a half hours later, Steve (owner) called and somehow acted as if we had done something wrong. He had nothing but excuses trying to place blame on VRBO for having the wrong information online. Steve referred to me in our brief conversation a the "tenant" and never apologized for the unbelievable inconvenience. He never reset the door code so we had to go through our week hiding our valuable since we had no idea how many people had the door code. This owner takes no responsibility for his end of the agreement and if he does bother to reply to this review it will be more excuses.

Aside from a hiccup getting the access code, how was the unit? The problem with this guest's check-in, and he knows this full well, is that I was sending check-in information to an email address that was evidently invalid. By the time I got in touch w/ this guest they already had access to the unit - crisis averted. I did NOT 'act as if they had done something wrong'. I did NOT make excuses or blame VRBO as I do NOT keep check-in info in VRBO. I did NOT refer to this guest as TENANT. As for the 'unbelievable inconvenience' I'm at a complete loss. The guest arrived without an access code but was able to enter the unit, I assume early because the cleaning crew was still there. As for resetting the door code, I have recourse to up to 20 door codes and it seems obvious that only our cleaning crew knows the access code that they provided to this guest. Frankly, in the 35 years I've owned the property I've not been concerned about ever locking the door and have never had the unit breached. And I've NEVER had a guest challenge the security of their access code. Frankly this guest has gone out of his way to put the worst possible spin on a minor issue. I used the same process I've used w/ every other guest to convey check-in info including access codes. For whatever reason, his email address didn't work and I was not alerted. I still don't know why. But ultimately the problem was diffused and his access was not impeded. It boggles the mind that this results in a '1' rating, which overall compromises the integrity of online reviews in general. The fact is that there are malcontents among us who are just looking for a reason to be unhappy and somehow inflict their 'punishment'.

Stay was great. Condo was clean and nice. Couple issues with both bathroom sink drains not draining properly, both toilets seemed to have an issue flushing and one of the toilet seats was broken.

Great condo

Check in was very easy and communication with the host was great. The condo was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything you needed. The beds were probably the most comfortable ones I’ve ever slept in at a rental. I would definitely recommend this condo and can’t wait to rent it again. Thanks!

Comfortable Vacation Condo

From entering this condo, you know the owners care about the place. It feels homey and comfortable. The view of the ocean is great, despite being a side unit. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials for food prep and eating. The owner is very responsive to messages. I would love to stay here again!

Peaceful Getaway

The condo was nicely decorated and well kept. Short walk to the beach and within walking distance to Dumser's Ice Cream and Fager's Island Restaurant. I would gladly stay there again.

Fabulous stay

We really enjoyed staying in this unit. We love the building and the centralized location in Ocean city. It is beachfront, with an elevator and a pool. The property is very clean. The unit was beautiful, love the furniture and everything you could possibly need was provided. We highly recommend!

We purchased our unit at Sandpiper Dunes after our first child was born with the hope of renting it and using it for vacations. We've done both since purchasing it in 1983 and we have great memories of spending time there w/ family. I've seen many beaches in my time and would argue that the Ocean City beach is one of the very best. I've not seen one that I like better.
