Thank you so much for the wonderful 5-star review! We are thrilled that your first visit to Captiva was such a success. Thank you so much for the wonderful 5-star review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that your family had a relaxing vacation and that the house provided the perfect setting for your Captiva Island getaway. It sounds like you hit the jackpot on finding amenities that kept everyone happy! Having that screened-in pool area is such a great way to enjoy the Florida sunshine, and we are delighted to hear that the game room—especially the pool table—was a huge hit with your teenagers during their downtime. Being just a short stroll from both the beach and the local restaurants truly makes island life effortless. Thank you for the high recommendation. It was a true pleasure hosting your family, and we cannot wait to welcome you all back to Captiva for another fantastic stay!

Thank you for the 4-star review and for your feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the location and had a chance to take advantage of the pool, pool table, and ping pong—we love providing those extra amenities to help our guests truly unwind. At Dream Vacation Rentals, our goal is a "no-surprises" experience, and I sincerely apologize that the kitchen didn't meet your expectations for being fully equipped. We want our guests to feel right at home, whether they are making a quick snack or a full family dinner. I have asked our property inspector to perform a full inventory of the kitchen this week so we can add any missing essentials like quality knives, cookware, or small appliances. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we would love the opportunity to welcome you back for a truly 5-star stay next time!

Thank you so much for the wonderful 5-star review! We are thrilled to hear that your family loved their Captiva getaway. That quiet gravel road setting truly offers the quintessential island experience—having the calm, warm Gulf waters in one direction and the village shops and restaurants in the other makes exploring so effortless. It is fantastic to know that the layout gave everyone their own space while still offering great gathering areas for family meals and movie nights. We also appreciate your constructive feedback regarding household items. While we provide a standard starter supply kit to get guests through their first couple of days, having extra food storage containers and foil on hand for family meals is a great suggestion that we will gladly review with our team. Thank you for the high recommendation—it was an absolute pleasure hosting your family, and we would love to welcome you back for another memorable Captiva vacation!

That's fantastic! We're thrilled your family enjoyed a perfect stay and appreciated the convenience of our location—right near the beach and easily walkable to town. We hope to welcome you all back soon!

Thank you for the 4-star review! I am glad to hear the location worked out perfectly for you and that you enjoyed being within walking distance to everything you needed during your stay. At Dream Vacation Rentals, we strive for a "no-surprises" experience, and I am very sorry to hear that the spa temperature didn't meet your expectations throughout the week. We want our guests to be able to fully relax, and a lukewarm hot tub is certainly not the experience we aim to provide. I have already dispatched our maintenance team to inspect the heater and thermostat to ensure it is performing at its best for future guests. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we would love the opportunity to welcome you back for a truly "steamy" and relaxing stay in the future!

Thank you for the 4-star review and for your helpful feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the property, but I apologize that the pool and spa operations weren't as clear as they should have been. We want every part of your stay to be relaxing, and struggling with the amenities is the last thing you want to do on vacation. Based on your comments, we are currently updating our in-home guest manual to include more detailed, step-by-step instructions for the pool and spa controls. We are also looking into adding a quick-start guide or QR code poolside for even easier access. We appreciate you staying with us and would love to welcome you back for a truly seamless 5-star experience next time!

Thank you for the 4-star review! I am so happy to hear that you had a GREAT time and that the "PERFECT" location and "EXCELLENT" game room lived up to the hype. It sounds like those features really helped make your stay memorable. At Dream Vacation Rentals, we strive for a "no-surprises" experience, and it is clear that several maintenance and cleaning details fell short of our standards during your visit. I sincerely apologize for the condition of the floors and the various items in need of repair. We have already shared your specific list with our maintenance lead and housekeeping supervisor to ensure the towel holder, toilet components, and deep-cleaning protocols are addressed immediately. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the pool and hot tub temperatures, as we want those amenities to be perfect for every guest. I am glad our text service was able to provide quick support, and we will use your feedback to ensure our repair team's consistency matches our high service goals. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we would love the opportunity to welcome you back to a fully refreshed and spotless home for your next island getaway!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay, and we appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. We've already sharpened the knives and added a new set of food storage containers for future guests. We're also glad our maintenance team was able to repair the grill for you before your departure. Your feedback is invaluable, as it helps us make the necessary improvements to ensure every guest has a seamless and comfortable stay. We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are glad to hear that you found the home itself wonderful, but we are deeply sorry for the frustration and noise disruption caused by the neighboring property's septic alarm during your stay. We completely understand how frustrating it is to have your peace and quiet disturbed on vacation. While our local team lives and works right here in the area, our management authority and maintenance services are strictly limited to the properties within our rental program. Because the neighboring house is a private residence managed independently, our team did not have legal access to the property, the ability to perform maintenance on their equipment, or direct contact information for that owner. When issues occur on outside private properties, local municipal code enforcement or law enforcement are the only entities with the authority to intervene. That being said, we sincerely apologize for the breakdown in communication regarding your request for relocation or reimbursement. Our goal is always to support our guests as much as possible, even during unforeseen external situations, and you should have received a clear and timely response to your message. We are reviewing our guest messaging protocols with our team to ensure all inquiries are handled promptly and thoroughly. We truly appreciate your feedback and your patience throughout your stay. We would love the opportunity to host you again in the future for the peaceful, se

Thank you so much for your review. So wonderful to see that you were able to enjoy Captiva and especially the Key Lime Pie!! Our apologies on any spider webs and bugs. We have pest control out on a regular basis and we sweep as best we possibly can. Being on a tropical Island it's a never ending battle, but we'll work even harder moving forward. We do hope to welcome you back again soon!
