Seem like somebody had had a fire in the fireplace the night before and didn’t open the flue. It smelled horrible the whole time we were there and it caused many allergies for all of us. The basement smelled like must when we came in. And we were really disappointed that there wasn’t a single fire or smoke detector in the entire home. All the stairs were pretty rough as well.

Our stay was everything we needed for 2 families. Tons of space, communication was amazing, and the property was amazing! My son especially enjoyed ping pong in the basement. Next time we come to the area will definitely look to book again.

The house was very nice, in a peaceful area with pretty views, and a convenient location for visiting many lake towns. The house also was more than enough room for 8 people with a well stocked kitchen and anything else you might need. We certainly enjoyed our stay.

The house was a nice house. There were some finish details that could have been touched up or refreshed better like shower door caulk. Plenty of space and all essentials were available. we tried to contact property manager but they never responded (no major issue) just disappointed that communication was not better. I would stay there again.

Driveway from Hell

The driveway was so poorly plowed that we slid down, got stuck in a snowbank at the bottom, and spent several hours waiting for a tow at 9:30 at night. We then spent another hour trying to get out of the driveway after the AAA tow truck got stuck! Horrible experience that soured our vacation. I do not recommend this property.

Great Location!

The thing we loved about this place the most was the location - tucked into the woods but still minutes from Boyne City, Walloon Lake and Petoskey. Beautiful views from the deck. Home was adequate for 4 adults and 2 teens. Although we did not use it the extra space in the lower level was a nice option. We stayed in fall so we did not use any of the summer amenities.

Fantastic house and setup

Great house in the middle of trees. Nice setup with multiple bedrooms, nice living room and kitchen and updates and a fantastic deck surrounded by trees. Well stocked kitchen and a great BBQ outside. Easy access driveway and washer dryer available. About 20 mins to Petoskey and 20 mins to Boyne Mountain so it is easy to get places. There’s a small park nearby with a pool for the community that you can access too! Loved it, thanks again!

We loved our stay!

We stayed five nights and the house was perfect for our group of six, including one teen, but it would easily accommodate eight. The newly finished deck and furniture were so nice. New siding too. The basement TV room isn’t mentioned in the listing but should be. We chose this property partly for the ping pong table and our teen grandson loved playing. The kitchen, dining and living areas are very nice; we all fit on the large couch for movie night 🙂 The kitchen has everything you could need. We didn’t use the association pool but enjoyed feeding the fish and turtles in the pond! Don’t hesitate to choose this property. It made for a very enjoyable stay.

Roomy and comfortable for groups

We had a great stay. The house is very roomy with a large living room and decent size kitchen. We chose this property for the high bedroom & bed count which matched perfectly for our needs. The queen bed plus bunk beds room was perfect for me and my 2 kids. The master bedroom has a ton of space to add an air mattress if needed. The main entrance is the walkout basement, which makes a great landing area for ski gear or other outdoors equipment. There is even an extra TV and set of couches down there if you have a large group. The main living level is nicely refinished and very comfortable. The deck also looked excellent, but being winter time we did not get to enjoy it. The host Nancy was great to work with and responded quickly to messages. Checkin/Checkout was a breeze and we'll definitely keep this on our short list to check availability for future trips.

Spacious Getaway

We had a great time at this spacious and comfortable property. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us to sleep, relax and eat together. We were surprised at all the extras in the kitchen cabinets and fridge. No need to bring anything as there were condiments, spices, cooking spray, etc. for you to use. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were large. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood with neighbors close by but we never heard them. Owner communication was great and we had absolutely no issues with anything. We would definitely return!

Beautiful Stay!!

We had a great stay! The home is very cozy and welcoming-Super comfortable beds, a very up to date kitchen, and a beautiful deck. So much to do in the surrounding areas, would recommend checking out kayaking with boyne river adventures, only about 15 minute's from the property and so much fun!

This was our first time in the area, so this spot was perfect for us as it was short drives to many of the activities we wanted to check out. The space was perfect for our family and we loved sitting out on the beautiful deck, further enjoying the outdoors. Highly recommend!

My father built this house when I was a little girl and I spent my childhood coming up here and skiing in the winter and swimming in the pool in the summer and shopping in town with my mom. I got married and came up here with my husband and then we brought our children. Our boys have great memories of playing in the pond and the pool and enjoying the snow sports in the winter. Our sons always dreamed of bringing their families here and now we are lucky enough to introduce the area to our grandkids!

It has been in my family for most of 44 years. We have such great times here and we would like to share our piece of heaven with you so you can create new memories with your family.
We also have a beautiful new swimming pool in our association that you can use, there is also a pond close and golf course just down the road.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

It is close to everything imaginable. The town of Petoskey is 20 minutes away ,great shopping and restaurants. We are really close to Walloon Lake,and Lake Michigan is close too! Just a short drive to the Mackinaw Bridge, leading to the upper peninsula.
