We had a wonderful stay at Elk Ridge Cottages. The cottage was exceptionally clean and had all the comforts of home. What really stood out for us was walking in to find a beautifully lit Christmas tree and festive décor throughout the cottage. It was such a warm, thoughtful touch that made our stay feel truly magical. Absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to return!

Just spectacular!

We are long time visitors to the Blowing Rock area. This is the most spectacular home we have stayed in. It has all the amenities anyone could need. The views are fantastic.

Cottage is just as pictured and very comfortable. Host provides ALOT of information at time of booking. Approach to the address is directly off 4 lane curvy highway with two double yellow lines in the center so our maps had us go way past the road and turn around every time we came and went, but husband ignored that and just drove across the double yellows every time. The road is narrow and steep, no issue for us in our truck. Deck is in great shape, wish there had been pet gates so our pup could have been out there more with us without being leashed. We did not cook in but kitchen looked well stocked. Bed was comfortable, a little softer than we like but slept great. Texted host when we checked out, but did not get a reply which seemed a little odd, but otherwise a smooth stay. Would come back, although not in winter bc of the steep entry and road location, even with our truck.

Blowing Rock Getaway

This property was perfectly located to enjoy the mountain scenery and close enough to Blowing Rock and Boone to enjoy all they offer. Panoramic views from its mountain location were breathtaking. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable.

5 Star Stay!

We had a great stay at this property. The views were beautiful and the cabin itself is comfortable, modern and well-stocked! This is one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in and the owners clearly thought of every detail. Blowing Rock is only a few minutes away. We hope to stay here again soon.

Wonderful Get-Away Week

This property is absolutely as advertised. Very clean and stocked with all we needed. Great town and great hikes in Moses Cone Memorial Park. We will definitely return to Blowing Rock and, when we do, we will stay at the Elkridge Cottages again.

There are two new cottages on this ridge.You wake in the morning to the sounds of birds and nature. You feel like you are on the top of the world in this cottage.
