Maison moderne, confortablement meublée avec deux chambres Queen et une avec deux lits simples. Accueil a une cuisine entièrement équipée avec barbecue sur le pont arrière. Lovely place close to IGA, skate park, pub, etc.

It must be the last place to have a bath in it. Comfy lounge room with smart tv as well as TVs in the other rooms. Beds lovely and soft.

Great base to explore beautiful Kangaroo Island

Colin was very helpful at every stage of the process. The house was perfect for two couples and two children. We loved the views, the fairy wrens and the back deck. Rain on the roof was a real bonus.

Well situated in Penneshaw SA with great layout for couples with separate facilities. Everything you need is supplied. Very clean with very comfortable beds. Hosts were terrific, gave us some great tips for what to do and see.

Great location, very close to the Penneshaw ferry, IGA, and local eating places. The house was comfortable and suited our stay well.A few improvements would make it even better. The house could benefit from more thorough internal cleaning, as we noticed spider webs and did some cleaning ourselves. Installing fly screens on the front and rear doors would greatly improve ventilation and allow guests to enjoy the fresh breeze.There is also quite a lot of extra furniture, which makes the house feel a bit congested. Some delicate decorative items are nice, but they can be a concern for families with young children due to the risk of accidental damage.Overall, a good place to stay with an excellent and convenient location.

We appreciate your review and take on board your concerns, however you paid for 6 people and brought 10 including children at no extra charge, this amount of people will make the house more congested. Flyscreens to double door windows are not used as the views take precedence and also the air-conditioning requires doors to be closed. daddy long leg spiders are a problem as they move in on a daily basis something we can not control on longer stays, insect spray is provided. Otherwise I am glad you enjoyed the Island and thankyou for leaving the house tidy. Best wishes Colin

Could be so much better.

Photos are way out of date and do not reflect the current poor condition of the property. Externally, both front and rear are in desperate need of a cleanup. Internally, maintenance is also needed in a host of areas, from leaky taps, to broken blinds, dodgy sliding door locks, a ceiling water leak and unsatisfactory cleaning standard. I can provide photos. We all agree that this property is being misrepresented on-line in your ads.

Sorry Roger to hear you had a bad stay on KI. However the substantial amount of 10 out 10 reviews says otherwise to your complaints about our accommodation . The front area has a brick paved driveway enclosed with pencil pines and substantial landscaping. the house has all facilities for a comfort and convivence. granted the back is not landscaped but as per the whole street we are waiting on a sewer connection from the golf course easement and it makes no sense to landscape now just to dig it up. however you are renting accommodation that is exceptionally set up for guests and not the back garden. we will take on board the photos are out of date and do not show the fantastic growth in the front garden or upgrades to the bedrooms and will endeavour to submit current ones. best wishes regards Colin

Great spot!

Comfortable house, everything we needed, quiet location. The hosts were very helpful when our travel had to be changed when the ferries were stopped by gale force winds. They made practical suggestions to help find alternatives suggesting contacting KIC. I’m looking forward to staying again.

Clean, comfortable and great facilities

Really comfortable property in a nice quiet location. The place was clean and well appointed. Penneshaw is a convenient place to stay with it's proximity to the ferry and this is nice accommodation to use as a home base for looking around KI.

Convenient location a few minutes from the centre of town, the sculpture walk, coffee shops and ferry wharf. Cosy and comfortable house. Well equipped kitchen. Parking for 3 cars. Perfect for a 4 day stay with friends sightseeing.
