Orteils dans le sable - 1/2 pùté de maisons de la plage

Chaque aspect de cette maison a Ă©tĂ© entiĂšrement reconstruit depuis la fondation. DĂ©but 2016, nous avons entrepris la tĂąche monumentale de dĂ©monter la structure existante jusqu'Ă  la fondation. Nous avons mĂ©ticuleusement enlevĂ© tout ce qui se trouvait entre la fondation et la structure du toit, Ă©largissant et reconfigurant le plan d'Ă©tage. Le rĂ©sultat final Ă©tait une maison de plage de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain efficace avec des finitions haut de gamme qui vit sophistiquĂ©e mais confortable. Murs, fenĂȘtres, cuisine, bains, foyer, tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat (chaĂźnes premium) Planchers Ă  motif d'os de hareng, portes en acajou, comptoirs en quartz, Ă©lectromĂ©nagers en acier inoxydable, portes françaises ouvertes sur le patio avant.

The location is five star. And because of that we intend on returning and would have some strong suggestions to make for the owner. Hooks or towel holders put up in the bathroom hooks on the back of the door are not helpful as you can’t reach him when you’re done showering. Maybe a new cleaning crew because the place was not clean. The blankets that were in the basket outside were soaked and filthy dirty strongly urge them to be stored inside once they’re washed. With the small dishwasher, small kitchen plates would be helpful and a vinegar cycle on that washer dishwasher would probably be extremely helpful as well. I really believe that the cleanliness was a little far for the unit. The unit is so cute and the location is fabulous. I just was nervous about sitting on the sofa and pillows and the blanket just wasn’t sure about how clean they really were. We enjoyed ourselves. We will come back just not confident in the cleanliness pretty much overall.

This is a really great beach bungalow. Incredibly comfortable, clean, and great location. I gave it a low family friendly rating because I think adults would enjoy it more. I do think kids would have fun too but the size of the home is on the smaller scale so if you brought kids with toys you might feel a little overwhelmed. My opinion, I’m sure families have enjoyed it. I would stay here again. It’s very close to the beach and very close to some cute breakfast and coffee shops. The patio area is divine. I loved it. It’s in a very walkable neighborhood which is even better. My only struggle was the doorknob on the house. We figured it out but it was complicated.

We had a wonderful stay in this property, which was just as reflected in the photos and is in a great location very close to the beach. The owner was a stellar communicator and the property was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The outside patio and the availability of parking on the property were fabulous amenities. We hope to stay in this property again on future visits to the area.

The house is located in a very walkable range to the beach and the Ocean Beach Downtown area. The host was very friendly and responsive. Made it super easy for checking in and checking out.Great little patio area to enjoy the weather and the ocean breeze.

We had high hopes, but found the place disappointing.1. The lock box is a struggle to open to extract the keys.2. The house lock and key are seemingly opposed. Getting into the house and locking the house was clumsy and time consuming.3. The portable LG a/c unit did its best even in tandem with two box fans and ceiling fans in use, yet the house quickly warmed as soon as we shut off the LG unit (plus the thing is loud).4. The primary bedroom features a very narrow floor space at the foot of the bed to access the bathroom. Our first few hours in the place featured an uncomfortably warm house, partially disassembled LG a/c unit and blown circuit breakers once we turned on the TV. The person who arrived that evening to fix the breakers and assemble the LG unit was polite and apologetic. However, we will not return or recommend this listing.

We loved our stay here. The two bedrooms were perfect for our family and worked great for small children. There were family games and kids plates etc. the front yard porch area is just amazing and so spacious. We loved spending the day at the beach and then grilling and spending the rest of our night outside in the front yard area. Then a quick walk to the beach for sunset! Town is also a quick walk away as well. The house is on a quiet street and literally a 4 minute walk to the beach. They also have all the beach stuff you could need (sand toys, chairs, towels, boogie boards). Also amazing that it had its own parking so we never had to worry about parking. Such a great place and we love being in OB!

Cozy Beach Cottage - PRIME OB location!

We really loved this place - from the lush garden of a front patio to the comfy beds, it was a perfect little beach cottage! It is a tight squeeze but also plenty of space for 4 as long as you all love each other (but would you be sharing a Vrbo with people you don’t love?!?) The home had all the basic essentials stocked up, and if anything is missing you can mosey to any one of the many markets nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this rental if you’re in town to relax!

I enjoyed staying at this VRBO in San Diego. The beds are not big enough to sleep comfortably 2 people in a bed. I went there with 3 other female adults. One of my guest slept on the couch because it couldn’t accommodate. There was construction next door to the place we were staying. I probably missed it but I didn’t see anything in the notes from the owner there would be construction next door. The workers woke up my guest and myself the 3 days we stayed there. I stayed Thursday through Sunday. Friday and Saturday morning the workers started before 7 am. I reached out to the owner to let him know and I was told I was already informed by the property listing. I didn’t see anything about construction going on while we would be staying. It happens I’m not upset but it would’ve been nice to sleep in. Other than the small issues it was a nice place to stay, close to the airport, beach and other places to visit.

Work Trip last week of summer

I have a short work trip every summer and almost always pick OB for my stay. This spot was perfect location, and so cute! We had a last minute add-on (2 moms, with 2 16 yo daughters) so it was a bit more cramped than we expected, but the beds are comfy and having two full bathrooms was a bonus! Owners did a great job making this small space work well for up to 4 people. We did yoga in the open front courtyard each morning, spent our days on the beach, went back to watch sunset each night, and had some excursions to La Jolla for snorkeling, and made a few visits to Clementine Tattoos for a permanent memento! (Joel's the BEST!) Do NOT pass up OB Noodles, and find your way to Grass Skirt Tikki restaurant in Pacific Beach one night. Thanks for a great spot to stay this year. We'll be back in OB next summer!

Fantastic Stay with No Issues or Problems!

I had an great stay at this little house with my friend, and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything was great. The host was super friendly and helpful, making sure we had all the information we needed. The place was clean, and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. We loved the convenient location, close to all the cool spots and easy to get around, and walking distance to the beach. Best of all, we had zero issues or problems during our stay. It was a stress-free and enjoyable experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic SB getaway!

OB hideaway

We were visiting our kids who live in OB and Mission Hills and this place was perfect for us, very close to the beach, shops , downtown OB and the courtyard was a great place for us to gather. The place itself is modern and nicely put together with care. Definitely come back!

The good and the bad.

The good was spending time on the patio. The bad was we didn’t have time to search for a propane tank and rest assured you will have to if you want to use the fire pit or grill.

This property is unique because it has been completely rebuilt from the ground up and located only 1/2 block from world famous Ocean Beach. Our guest get to enjoy this fantastic location as well as every modern convenience in a stylish beach bungalow. The beach lots are typically tight but this one is large by comparison. This beach house rests at the back of the lot which allows for a generous amount of outdoor space to relax and entertain. We do not accept changes to calendar 7 days prior to arrival.
