 Le Maui Sunset est situé sur plus de 5 hectares de front de mer à Kihei, qui est considéré comme l’un des meilleurs emplacements de la vallée de l’île. Kihei est réputée pour son ensoleillement toute l'année, ses alizés doux et son air apaisant en soirée. C'est l'une des régions les plus sèches et les plus ensoleillées de l'île, avec une moyenne de seulement 10 pouces par an! Les plages de natation et de plongée en apnée de renommée mondiale sont à quelques minutes de l’une des nombreuses plages de sable sûres de Kihei et de Wailea, à proximité. À une courte distance (6 milles) de cinq parcours de golf de championnat 18 trous à Wailea et Makena. Les deux bâtiments encadrent et protègent une vaste zone de loisirs soigneusement aménagée et aménagée. The location is easy to/from the airport and great for access to the south beaches. The property is beautifully maintained. The pool and grassy area between the buildings offer a place for kids to play and families to gather. Many of the other guests are repeat visitors and owners so it’s a very friendly vibe. It’s quiet at night . You can enjoy your mornings on a spacious patio watching the sun come up and listen to the birds singing..Our unit had everything you need and you can’t hear your neighbors unless you’re on your patio. It was neat and clean. Parking was easy, as was checking in and out. All instructions were clear and simple. We’ll be back!

The suite was clean and comfortable but the kitchen was the least stocked of any condo rental we've had. There was no tin foil, plastic wrap, salt, spices, or laundry soap. The salt and pepper shakers were empty. There were 4 dishwasher soap tablets. We did not expect to have to purchase these basic items. The toaster handle was broken and the outdoor light on the lanai kept shutting off. It would have been nice to have a kettle. It would be nice to have some outdoor umbrellas available poolside by the loungers, especially for families with young children and seniors.

Having stayed at a variety of condos it is nice to know ahead of time what is provided. They had beach chairs, towels, a couple of skim boards and I think a beach umbrella. They didn't have a cooler which would have been handy. I only found dish soap for hand washing the last day because it was hidden under the trash bags under the sink. I did not see any laundry soap and I ended up purchasing a small box at the ABC store to get me through. The dryer is loud and may have a belt that needs to be replaced. The grounds and pool were kept in great condition.

Reviewer Comments: Unit 515A was spotlessly clean upon arrival and came equipped with everything one could need for a beachfront experience, including boogie boards and beach chairs, and other water toys. The giant pool is absolutely sparkling and the grounds are immaculately maintained. The kitchen was very well stocked. No spices or olive oils, or basic condiments however so make sure you plan for that. My only complaint is that the air conditioning unit in our bedroom was ridiculously loud. It would be great if mini splits were installed for more noise free climate control.

Sadly not nearly as condo clean as before. No maid service even though we stayed 2 weeks. Guest areas need attention. Pool area perfect and always well kept. Too bad the condo itself was tired and not clean. Well not return.

We also enjoyed the free rental of shuffleboard equipment from the pool desk. Loved waking up early and listening to the birds, enjoying my coffee on the lanai, taking in the view of Haleakala Crater to one side and the ocean on the other. Tenants were respectful and not noisy. I was very impressed with the cleaning staff and how well they kept the grounds looking clean and beautiful as well as cleaning the pool, jacuzzi, pool deck and chairs every morning. I look forward to staying there again on my next trip! Mahalo! :)

Reviewer Comments: The unit we had was what we expected - decor is a bit dated, so could use an upgrade, but noticed that seemed to be happening in the complex. It would have been nice to be a bit closer to the commercial area of Kihei. Tennis courts were not in great condition. Was great that the units were air conditioned, particularly being in building "A", which gets the sun (at least our unit), most of the day, and the sunset in the evenings was amazing. Pool and grounds exceptionally well maintain, convenient parking. Well supplied kitchen. The addition of scissors would be good. Overall very happy with our unit and stay.

Marvelous Maui

We really enjoyed staying here and we look forward to returning in hopefully the near future. Pros: Gorgeous ocean view from front walkway & from the back balcony, beautiful and well-maintained landscaping, amazing sunsets, picnic tables, nice bbq's, warm pool & spa, plenty of beds, convenient location. Cons: carpet needs to be replaced by tile due to moisture levels living so close to the water and sand being tracked in from the beach that is merely steps away. *PRO TIP: there are grocery carts on the first level in the closet by the elevators in the middle of the complex which makes it so much easier to transport all of your stuff, groceries, etc. up to your room

The ease of booking is excellent through their website and the property is nicely maintained. The unit I was in, was nice but could use a renovation update. The curtains on the lanai side were thin and the sun was very hot because it did not block out the heat. The AC units worked but because the curtains were thin negated the coolness of the AC. Other than that, it’s a very nice place to stay. It’s a nice quiet getaway location.
