Property is very nice. The location was perfect for our group of 8. Property owner was very prompt with our answers to our questions.The only complaint was lots to f cobwebs in the house. I don’t know if that was because nobody had stayed before us or cleaning service was a bit slack!Overall a great stay

Great location in Stow. Stayed with multi generational family - down stairs room was great for grandparents and rooms upstairs allowed space for teenagers and parents. Really well set up for larger groups but would work well for smaller families. Good parking - 2 cars easily and enclosed garden allowed the dogs to play safely. A fantastic New Year break had by all.

Everything was spectacular. Beautiful and relaxing accommodations for 4 middle aged women traveling together. Walking distance to everything. Able to do laundry half way through our trip. Thank you for a great time.

Wonderful Cotswald village

From booking until we left the property, we had nothing but praise for this property. It was exactly what we had hoped for. We use The Cottage as a hub and took side excursions every day to see Hampton Court, Bletchley Park, Stratford, Bath, and other Cotswold sites.

Unfortunately the property had some maintenance issues, shelve in the shower slopping so could not use, light bulbs needed replacing, bedside lamp not working, plates and cups and cutlery seem better days. Property could do with a general update and a very tight squeeze for 8 adults, kitchen and dinning room disjointed and not next to each other. Single bedroom was so small you could not open chest of draws as bed in the way and downstairs bedroom full of cobwebs. We have stayed in Stow on Wold before but a different property and regretted not going back to this property!

We appreciate you bringing the maintenance issues to our attention. We will review the shower shelf, lighting and bedside lamp, as well as the condition of the crockery and cutlery. We will also look carefully at the points you have raised regarding the bedrooms, cleanliness and the overall condition of the property. We do appreciate that accommodating eight adults can feel cosy, and we’re sorry if the layout and size of some of the rooms did not work as you had hoped. As a family of 8 including 2 teenagers of 13 and 15 and a labrador , the accommodation perfectly suited us. Great central location. Close to all amenities. Large secure enclosed front garden. Parking for 3 vehicles. Great bedding and matresses

Perfect cottage and location

Lovely cottage stay with family and friends.Location is spot on and only a short stroll to Stow for plenty of choice for shops, pubs, takeaways etc and lots of choice for walks from the doorstep meant we didn’t have to use the cars all weekend.The cottage was fine for 9 of us - adults and teenagers and 1 dog. Kitchen very well equipped, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds and was nice and warm as evenings still a bit chilly. We lucked in with the weather so were able to enjoy the sunny, peaceful garden - in the summer it would be nice to have the use of a bbq and sun shade. would shade.

our stay at Roseleigh Cottage August 2018

We really enjoyed our stay at your Cottage. We found the central position in Stow on the Wold really great as a base for the rest of the area. The cottage had everything we needed as a family of parents, Grandparents and 4 children aged 6 , 10 and 13yrs. Grandparents in the downstairs room and shower would have liked a grab rail in the shower. The lounge was a little small for 8 people, but overall it was clean and comfy.

We were very disappointed to find the following items not available: paper towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, coffee maker. I have never stayed at a place that did not supply these items. Beds were not very comfortable.

Great stay!

Everything at the property was excellent! Well provisioned and location was fantastic, close to the town and a convenient base for exploring. We didn't have a need to contact the property manager on any occasion, such was the smoothness of the booking and property.

Lovely cottage

The cottage is just as described. The rooms are small, as expected in a cottage but well appointed. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped.

Excellent location and fabulous cottage

We had a wonderful week at Roseleigh Cottage. We took two dogs with us who loved the garden and our 16month old enjoyed running around the garden too. The cottage was in an ideal location and close to pubs and shops in Stow on the Wold. We would highly recommend it!
