Excellent location for us and fabulous pool area. A few small items in the house are beginning to look a bit worn and dated but didn't detract from our lovely stay at the Cactus House.

Stayed here multiple times before and this was the first of three bookings in the diary for this year. A perfect home form home in a quiet more Spanish part of Lanzarote. Anabel, the owner is fantastic to deal with and always willing to hep with anything.

We stayed at this property as four adults and really enjoyed our stay. The property had everything we needed in terms of amenities. Washing machine came in handy, we also enjoyed the bbq and private pool. The area of Playa Honda is lovely and quiet with local bars and restaurants near by. Having deiland round the corner was great for food shopping and we even went bowling and played pool there one evening. Would recommend if you don’t want the hustle and bustle of playa del carmen, if you do want to venture there it is 20 euro each way in a taxi which are at the rank down the street. The property is very close to the airport which is also a bonus only took 5-10min. WiFi was good but doesn’t reach the upstairs bedroom.

We especially appreciated the lovely garden with the pool. The villa was clean and comfortable and Playa Honda a nice area to explore. The only downside was that there were no cushions for the sun loungers which made them rather uncomfortable.

This property was beautiful, so spacious and clean. It was well equipped for our family to enjoy our stay. The swimming pool was brilliant for the kids. The outside area was lovely with all the plants and plenty of seating. The was a little shop 2 mins down the road, or a Eurospa a 5 mins walk from the villa. Also the big shopping centre was about 3 mins away. There was a couple of restaurants in the area, but we nipped on the bus a couple of days to Puerto Del Carmen. The bus stop was about a 10 mins walk away. The airport is so close, which was a bonus travelling with children. Would love to come back to the beautiful villa and would highly recommend.

We have been to Anabel's place several times and it never disappoints. Location is very convenient to several supermarkets and 5 minutes walk to the quiet beach.

Great location

Really enjoyed our stay. It's in a great location for shopping/restaurants/bars and transport options to Arrecife, Costa Teguise and Puerto del Carmen.We didn't use the pool as it was too cold, but the rear of the property is bathed in sunshine from early morning.

The villa was exactly as described very comfortable and homely with a beautiful pool area which was quite private with lovely plants around giving it a luxurious feel.There were shops, bars and beaches within walking distance the local buses were ideal for trips into the more commercialised towns as the area was quite quiet away from the tourists. The local restaurants tended to be pizzerias but did other dishes which were very good. And good supermarkets Aldi lidl Euro spa and mercado a which were very close (walkable) also specialised shops just round the corner a frozen food shop even one that sold ready prepared food to take away and a fresh fruit and vegetable shop.We didn’t hire a car and to be honest we didn’t need one. On the whole it was an ideal place for a lovely holiday but beware of trying to book a taxi on line… we got scammed, do not sign up to anything. There is a taxi rank up at the shopping centre just round the corner (which our host kindly informed us when we told her we were having difficulty)I have to say the host was amazing, extremely helpful and replied to all our questions from the get go enhancing our holiday experience.Although it was close to the airport the noise was not at all a nuisance.We would definitely go to this villa again!!The only one negative was that we had only one set of keys so if my friend and I went out the other person was stuck inside or risked getting locked out but as he was less mobile it wasn’t an issue for us.

The property was perfectly located as it was close to transport, shops and the beach. The exterior of the house had excellent facilities such as pool, barbecue, seating areas, umbrella and loungers, although uncomfortable without pads. The size of the property internally was excellent but unfortunately there was no heat, the house felt a little damp and during January / February it became very cold in the evening. Can we suggest some written information about the use of equipment e.g. TV, washing machine etc, emergency contact numbers and local facilities would have been very appreciated.
