Le manoir historique Phelps est plein de caractĂšre historique, des armoires de cuisine d'origine aux planchers de bois franc de l'ensemble. Il y a eu de nombreuses mises Ă  jour tout au long du processus de rĂ©adaptation et offre de nombreux Ă©quipements modernes. Cette unitĂ© est une chambre avec un nouveau lit Amish et un matelas Queen trĂšs confortable. SituĂ© dans le salon, deux canapĂ©s. L'un est un canapĂ©-lit Queen exceptionnellement confortable, le canapĂ© supplĂ©mentaire peut ĂȘtre utilisĂ© pour dormir la 5Ăšme personne. La cuisine est approvisionnĂ©e avec tous les articles de cuisine; vaisselle, argenterie, assiettes, bols, casseroles, poĂȘles, ustensiles de cuisson, cafetiĂšre, grille-pain et micro-ondes. We had a good time in Decorah and enjoyed our stay at the Phelps Mansion. It is a great location and very near the downtown business district. Overall a splendid few days in Decorah

This is a beautiful place, very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet. Just a short walk to downtown with lots of restaurants and shops. We would stay there again.

This unit had many appealing features, and overall it was comfortable and charming. The updates to the older building showed a lot of effort and gave the place character. The original cabinets added to the charm, though some of them could not be opened.The main reason I rated the stay four stars instead of five was the front steps. My wife has MS, and unfortunately there are no railings, which makes them unsafe. Adding railings would be neither difficult nor costly. In addition, the sidewalk from the parking area is sinking and uneven, further limiting accessibility.These two issues significantly affect the unit’s accessibility. With these corrections, I would gladly give this place a full five stars.

Unit was very clean. Kitchen had all we needed. Owners were very responsive to a couple questions we had. Bathroom is small, but has been updated while leaving original cabinets. 2 week stay.

Great location, quiet get-away

This home is located just a few blocks from the downtown shops and restaurants, an easy walk on quiet streets. Off-street parking was a bonus. The suite is very roomy and extremely clean, durnished with the necessities. We were surprised how quiet the evenings and nights were, very peaceful. In all, a great stay and highly recommended.

Great property !

The suite is in a historic building and has been nicely updated (kitchen, bath, etc.) while maintaining its historic feel. It was extremely clean and well maintained. Walking distance to a grocery store and the downtown area. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends heading to Decorah.

Stay for Luther Family weekend
AWESOME!

This property, as well as the owners were both fabulous! Off street parking, nice amenities, comfortable HVAC, reliable WiFi, and close to downtown all make this a great option. We’ve been coming to Luther events for the past 5 years as our girls attended Luther and this VRBO location was the absolute best we have stayed at
 highly recommended!!!

Cozy and charming place

We loved the apartment! A very charming, cute and cozy place. Two large comfortable couches in the living room and very comfortable bed. The location is very close to the downtown area and Fareway grocery store. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. Our hosts were very responsive to messages and inquiries. We will definitely be be back and we look forward to our next visit!

Visiting my Mom's home town

We returned to Decorah for my 50th high school reunion and found this historic VRBO to be a wonderful property. It is within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants and Phelps Park. The unit is comfy and well furnished and the WiFi is strong. Our hosts were easy to reach and were helpful when our travel plans changed. We'll visit Decorah again and hope to rebook this great apartment.

We have spent a great deal of time renovating this wonderful mansion. We have completed the two suites available on the main floor for our nightly rentals. We are extremely excited to finally be able to offer the suites to our guests to enjoy. We both grew up in Decorah and have chose to stay in the area to raise our own family. Decorah is an amazing town and is full of fun and exciting things to do all the time. Decorah residents are very proud of our little town in northeast Iowa, and we really enjoy inviting guests to our little slice of paradise. We are certain you will enjoy your stay.
