Host was very responsive. Extremely easy check-in/check-out. Quiet, simple and right in the heart of the town. Walking distance to everything. The stairs are very narrow and steep but there are handles and small landings on each floor that make it easier to navigate. Parking is in the alley behind the building but it was a very short walk to the main door. It was clean and perfect for a short stay.

Quaint and comfortable.

I enjoyed the quiet and the beautiful view of Decorah including the bluffs. The apartment was clean and the beds comfortable, but the kitchen was missing dish cloths and towels. Parking in the back was not ideal, but I was happy to have a parking spot. I needed to stay an extra night which Nika made easy to do. The overall price if my stay was reasonable.

Excellent location

Room was as described and situated in the heart of town with restaurants and shops steps away. A disappointment was that we sent a request three days prior to our stay to see if we could check in a little earlier than 4:00 but never heard back. The room was clean with the exception of a dirty shower curtain and unfortunately the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty.

Centrally located apt

Great place to stay while in Decorah. We could walk to Pulpit Rock and out to dinner. Stairs are steep so keep that in mind!

Great stay

Such a great location in downtown Decorah. Will stay here again when visiting the Vesterheim museum and taking classes.

Great location but wasn’t cleaned before my stay

Arrived at the property about 9:30 pm and found it wasn’t cleaned. Fortunately I was able to get ahold of the manager and they were able to get their cleaning crew there soon after. Got into my room about an hour later. Amenities and location are very good.

Great location and rooms, but lots of stairs

The room was great, and just as described once we got to it! Note that the parking is in back, but the entrance is in front, right next to the restaurant, and you need to go up two very long flights of stairs.

Great location

Our family had a great stay. The place was quiet, the beds were comfortable and the amenities were nice. We ate at Koreana right below the apartment and that was fabulous too. After a day of shopping and enjoying downtown, we were close to home. Magpie for breakfast right across the road and Impact Coffee was just down the block.

Great Spot

Wonderful little apartment with a fun location! Since the reserved parking spot was in the alley, we thought the building access door may have been off the alley, as well, but it was just short walk around to the front of the building. Also, had hoped for a 4th kitchen chair since the apartment sleeps 4, but not a big deal.

Nice 3rd floor apartment facing the Decorah main shopping street. Close to restaurants, shops and multiple coffee. There is a steep stairway to the apartment.

I have tried to contact the host as I left something in the vrbo but I have not gotten any response back. The vrbo is a great spot and exactly as listed.

Great owner, great location

There was a problem with the lock on #3, so the owner immediately switched us to a different room. It was such a great location - right on the main street - that we could walk to everything. I'm glad the other room was available, and we didn't have to leave. We stayed two nights, but I'd love to come back and stay longer. The kitchens mean we'd be able to cook light meals or breakfast without eating out three meals a day. Great stay, great weekend.
