Island Beach Club P3B

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay in Sanibel and in unit P3B. Everything we needed was provided in the condo. The condo is beautifully decorated. The furniture is very nice and very comfortable. The mattresses on the beds are top notch so we were able to sleep so comfortably every night. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. It was very well furnished so we were able to cook our meals with ease. The owner himself called us at the beginning of the week to welcome us, to see if there was anything we needed, to make sure there were no issues, and to tell us some things about the island. It was a wonderful experience staying in this condo. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We were very pleased.

It doesn't get any better than this!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at P3B for 4 glorious weeks! The condo is very nicely decorated and has been updated with a new washer/dryer and granite counter tops. The lanai has beautiful new furniture which we enjoyed every day. The bicycles provided saved us tons of money since we didn't have to rent bikes! There is a small bike for children, too. A lovely view of the gulf is visible from the living room, dining room and kitchen. The owners are as sweet as can be and the folks at Select Vacation Properties work with you in any way you need. A special THANK YOU goes to Patience at the rental office. We are coming back next summer for 5 weeks! Can't wait! I highly recommend P3B to anyone visiting Sanibel!

Nice place

Location on a nice beach. The unit had everything we needed for our family (kids 5 and 7). Good screened patio to sit on. 3 or 4 adult bikes plus one kid bike to borrow, and some beach chairs and toys.

Great location! Unit badly needs updating.

This is the third time we have rented at Island Beach Club. We love the location. Owner provided very nice bikes and beach chairs. But the unit itself is badly in need of updating. I would compare the furnishings and decor to a college dorm room. We covered sofas and chairs with sheets and put away the dirty throw pillows. Lanai furniture needed to be thrown away and rental agent was able to find and deliver new lanai furniture later in our stay. I would not recommend this particular unit until improvements are made.

Enjoy the sunrise, sunset, beach and more!

Truly enjoyed this condo with my hubby & adult kids. Location is key!! On the beach! Great beach view, lovely pool, we grilled at the condo complex almost every evening for dinner... the screen balcony is wonderful to enjoy the beach view while having your coffee or reading a book. - Would stay here again! A true joy!

We enjoyed the lanai's views of our slice of the gulf and beautiful sunsets over the palm trees. It has an efficient floor plan with plenty of storage. TV lovers will like the large (huge!) televisions. The storage unit is stocked with a wide array of beach equipment and five bicycles.

May I live here?

I'm a little late in my review. We stayed here during Thanksgiving week of 2020. I applaud the HOA who has done an excellent job keeping this nearly 50-year-old development in spectacular repair. The courtyard and pool area is so lush and tropical. I would stay here again in a minute. Pro: -Comfortable Bedding (I rule out any property with negative comments about the bedding) -Huge common area and master suite with a desk I used to work remotely. -Washer and Dryer -The largest windows I've seen in a property outside of Hawaii -Dog friendly with a dog-friendly owner who called with suggestions for dog-friendly restaurants. -Bikes provided (huge money saver) -Lots of beach chairs, towels, toys, umbrellas, etc -Assigned parking -Elevators Cons: -None, but I will note that when we arrived late at night I couldn't understand the room numbering convention. P3B means: P = Penthouse (4th Floor) 3 = 3rd Unit B = Building Letter Finally, this is not a con because it is out of the owner's control but the no-see-ums while viewing the sunset on the beach are unavoidable. You will need the strongest Deet repellent. This is as important as sunscreen.

Exceptionally clean and well taken care of rental. Nice view of the ocean from screened in patio. Very short and easy walk to the beach. Great location on island in relation to grocery stores and restaurants. Highly recommend this property.

Our Happy Place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We fell in love with Sanibel Island in 2013 and it has become our family's happy place. We've stayed at Island Beach Club each time we've visited, but this was our first time renting with Select Vacations, and they did not disappoint! The staff worked to meet our accommodation needs, communicated in a clear and timely manner, and were very friendly. The unit, P3B, was clean and well appointed, with plenty of linens, cookware, beach gear, and bikes that we used to get around the island. IBC is centrally located and close to everything--grocery stores, restaurants, Tarpon Bay, the wildlife refuge--everything is a quick car ride or an easy bike ride away. On this visit, we took the kayak tour of Tarpon Bay and the tram tour of Ding Darling. Although you can explore these treasures on your own, the naturalists guiding the tours were outstanding and worth the price. Thank you, Sanibel, for yet another amazing vacation. We will see you again soon!

The Best Place to stay on Sanibel!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: P3B is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The unit is spotless and it has everything you will need for a restful vacation. The location couldn't be better! The owners provide bikes which was our main form of transportation while on the island for 28 days. The owners even called to check to see if we needed anything. It was great! We loved everything about P3B and so will you. We have stayed here every visit to Sanibel since 2000 (this was our 19th stay in feels like home away from home!) We're already booked for 2020!
