In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 2, the maximum allowed occupancy is 5, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 2.

Nestled in the heart of West Beach on a quiet cul-de-sac, this Greenslake cottage feels tucked away yet is close to all Kiawah Island has to offer. The cottage offers two bedrooms, overlooks the lagoon and Cougar Point Golf Course, and has access to a seasonal community pool. The cottage is about an 8-minute walk from the beach.

The recently renovated cottage features an open floor plan that allows for a seamless flow throughout the home. In the kitchen, you will find stainless steel appliances, new countertops with ample space, beautiful white cabinetry, and new flooring and lighting. The light-filled living area has comfortable seating, a TV, and sliding glass doors leading to the rear deck. Guests can also relax in the adjacent sunroom, which has gorgeous views of the golf course.

The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, balcony overlooking Cougar Point Golf Course, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a king-sized bed and an attached bathroom with a shower/tub combo. This bathroom is also accessible from the hall.

Prepare to be enamored by the expansive lagoon views from the cottage's rear deck. Watch Kiawah Island's diverse wildlife frolic in the lagoon, dine al fresco, or simply relax on this open-air deck. The back portion of the deck offers lovely Cougar Point Golf Course views. An outdoor shower is located in the front of the cottage and is perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

The cottage is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Dogs under 25 pounds are welcome for an additional fee of $50 per pet per day, with a maximum of two (2) pets. Contact us directly to add pets to your reservation.

Guests have access to the community pool (approximately 55ft x 20ft). The pool is unheated and open seasonally.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Great location … peaceful Place was clean and had plenty of food prep items. It had been refinished so floors were creaking but not an issue for us. Golf course is mowed early morning but noise wasn’t a problem for us. Hope to go there again!!

Awesome Cottage

Layout of this place was the best we have ever stayed in. Kitchen was a delight to cook in, and the back deck area was spectacular! We will definitely rent it again!

Relaxing time at Kiawah

This property was perfect for our needs. The location was perfect and the views were amazing. We spend most of our waking houses in the sunroom where we have great views of both the lagoon and the golf course.

Third stay at kiawah not the best

Starting things off no linens for sleeper sofa. Don't advertise for a 5th person if there's no linens! Leaf blowers and lawn mowers running every morning before 6am and no black out shades on the east glass doors makes for bad mornings while your on vacation. Recieved an email the first morning telling me that our bikes needed to be put away. There is no under house storage at this cottage so the only place to store them is in the bike rack. Thats where they were! So i was unsure of what they expected from us? The ac went out while we were in charleston one evening. We called the rental office to report no awnser so we left message. Called another number. Sent an email finally someone responded they are working on getting hvac company out after hours... ok. Why couldnt they tell me they were working on that instead of no response? They called back 2 hrs later . No one could be there until 8-9 am. It was absolutely miserable in that house without ac. Should have at least offered fans or something to help alliviate the humidity. No one slept that night!! The hvac guy showed up a little early that morning. But that didnt do any good because they had the access to the air handler in the attic and it was locked, so he couldnt get in. He said why in the world would anyone lock this. So he had to call property manager for a key. He told him he would be there in 40 mins. Hvac guy had another house down the street to look at so he said he would return in 40 mins to meet the propery mngr. 1 hr later the hvac guy returned asked if the property manager had been there to unlock the actic access and of course he hadnt been there, so he called him again. He told him he would be there in 10 mins. 40 mins later he showed up! Property manager came in they unlocked the access. He looked at me noded his head and left. No, im sorry for the inconveince; absolutely nothing was said. Didnt even speak to me at all. The hvac guy had the ac back on in about 15 min. A service call for 3hrs all due to poor managment and what could have been prevented if routine mantience was kept on this property. Will not stay in this house again!

We are sorry to hear that you had such a disappointing experience. Regrettably, it appears that we were not informed of a few of these items during your stay. We have notified our housekeeping partners of the missing sheets and they have ensured that will check at each clean that clean sheets are provided for the sofa bed. With the home being directly beside Cougar Point golf course, the resort does typically do golf court lawn maintenance in the morning prior to tee times starting. We do not have control over this, but it typically does not take long. Please again accept our apologies for issues with the HVAC. The call that it wasn't working did come in after hours and we were not able to find an after hours tech to come to the home. We are pleased that it was fixed in well under 24 hours for you to enjoy the remainder of your stay. We are very pleased to note that we have not had similar complaints in the three months since your stay.

Great getaway

Charming cottage (without the kitschy beach decor that is so overdone), wonderful secluded location, friendly deer/birds/squirrels (and an alligator or two in the lagoon), and gorgeous beach and biking trails. Loverly!

I can advise that all of the properties on our program have quarterly pest control treatments either scheduled through us or the HOA for the building. Regrettably, being a wooded barrier island, some of the pests that we make every effort to keep out still make their way in. We are always happy to provide further treatments when necessary and have passed your comments to our team to ensure that the villa is up-to-date and pest free.

Great for a girls weekend

We had a wonderful weekend. The beach rental was great for chairs and umbrella. We enjoyed all of the nearby amenities, the beach was a very close drive. The restaurants nearby were wonderful and the entire rental experience was easy to navigate. Loved having coffee in the Sun room. Would highly recommend and we will be back!

A little piece of paradise

As advertised on VRBO. Quiet, serene great deck on lagoon with wonderful views of herons, leaping frogs, Ibis, egrets and alligators. House bright with many windows and open and airy feeling. Wonderful getaway!
