Well-stocked little private piece of paradise. Nice amount of privacy for 2 couples and just the right amount of space. Very nice spot in Old Town. However, carpool recommended.

In the Heart of Old Town!

Our second stay in the past 12 months. The property is exactly as advertised. Fully renovated brown-stone, second-floor apartment. Comfy, clean & modern. The reserved parking-space is so convenient if you’re traveling by car. Owner is readily available & nearby should you have any problems. Great location in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. Walking distance (a block or two) to wonderful restaurants, pastry shops, Jewish deli, bars, specialty retail stores, as well as a short walk to the Potomac waterfront & loads of history. Easy Uber trip to/from both center city DC & Reagan National Airport. We give this one an A+ & intend to revisit for a third time in the coming year.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was adorable and so well appointed. It gave us the option to have our own separate sleeping space and bathroom, which was a huge bonus for two married working Moms who value alone time. Everything was clean, smelled good, and cozy. We were in town for a work conference that happens yearly, so we'll be sure to recommend our coworkers to the spot and stay again ourselves next time we come. Highly recommend!

This apartment was perfect for my husband and I. It was really clean and very comfortable. Communication with the host was easy, as was check in and out. The photos don’t do it justice. There was a half bath that I didn’t expect. It is right on King Street and walkable to everything. I would happily return.

Beautiful property - great stay!

I rented this property for my parents as a birthday present getaway. They raved about how clean and beautiful the property was. Not only that, it’s in a great spot - walkable to lots of shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and very clean townhome. Row-house style home, private entrance with stairwell to upstairs living. Clean and comfortable home. The only noise we heard was the trash pickup outside our bedroom window, twice during the week we stayed, but we were getting up to tour DC anyway. No complaints about the home, amentities, or location. Thankful to be able to have our car parked within an easy walk of the home, 1/2 block or less, and included in the price. Each morning we walked .5 mile to the subway to tour DC which we thoroughy enjoyed. We only got our car out from the designated parking bay once during our stay to tour the DC monuments at night. After 8:30 on a weeknight, there was no traffic and the monuments were great to see lit up and under the moonlight. We felt safe and had no issues (Nov. 2025). Our last night, we did take the Alexandria Old Town (free) trolley from our block to the riverfront at the end of King St.,, approximately 2 miles, and browsed local shops and had a great dinner. Highly recommend this location when visiting the area, DC or Alexandria. Host was responsive but we had no needs.

Truly pleased with the location and value of this VRBO! Up to date rooms and appliances and very clean. Communication with ownership was flawless and they were super helpful during our stay!! Very responsive and quick actions. Bed was comfortable and TVs were enormous :) I would highly recommend this location. Close to all the popular King St stores and ice cream shops !! Parking spot provided by owner and was sufficient and easy to get to.

Can't say enough about this amazing property! The pictures are phenomenal - but they just don't do it justice! The color scheme and decor create a sanctuary that you will be dying to return to after a day's worth of adventures. The owner has really paid attention to every last detail - making a stay away from home feel no different than actually being at home. The convenience of the Trolley to make shopping and dining easier was fantastic! And communication with the owner/manager when needed was quick and easy. A 5-star rating just seems insufficient for how wonderful this place really is.

Comfy and Cozy Get-Away

The charming description fits this rental. We liked the location for getting the Metro to see the sights in the capitol. King street has cute boutiques and plenty of fun dining. We would definitely stay here again!

King Street

Right in the middle of everything happening on King Street! Our first time in Alexandria and we couldn't have picked a better area to stay. We didn't have a car and it was easy to get to the transit station and take the bus, metro or hop on the free trolley along the street to go to the river. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great Vacation Rental

The apartment was great - very charming, well appointed, exceptionally clean and in a very nice area. It is centrally located in the Alexandria Old Town historic district and is within easy walking distance of the King Street Metro, shops, restaurants and waterfront. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully book this property again whenever we are in the DC area.

The host provided a great experience and a greay place to stay right in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. The convenience of having shops, restaurants, and the Metro line to access DC whenever we wanted was fantastic. It was great to have such a clean, beautiful place to stay with so many amenities. We would highly recommend this place to oir family and friends.

Wonderful location!

Our recent stay was so easy and enjoyable. The location cannot be beat. We lived in the area around 15 years ago and wanted to share our favorite spots with our children, while also doing the touristy DC stuff. Half way between the river and the Metro was perfect for us. The place itself is so cute and clean. There were 4 of us and the girls said the pull out couch was comfortable. We arrived late due to flight delays and had no issue getting in and getting settled. The host was quick to respond if I had any questions. I would highly recommend it!
