Welcome to Nautilus Sunset Escape, a beautiful 8th-floor condo in The Nautilus located along scenic Florida State Road A1A in charming Flagler Beach. Just across the street from the Atlantic Ocean, this peaceful coastal retreat offers stunning Intracoastal Waterway sunsets, warm ocean breezes, and easy beach access.



Step onto your private balcony and watch sailboats drift along the Intracoastal as the sky turns brilliant shades of orange and pink. Mornings are perfect for a quiet beach walk, while afternoons invite you to relax beside the oceanview pool or enjoy a match on the tennis or pickleball courts.



Located inside The Nautilus Condominium, guests enjoy resort-style amenities in a peaceful residential community.

The Nautilus is a quiet residential community with a relaxed coastal lifestyle. Only a limited number of units allow vacation rentals, offering guests a peaceful and private experience rather than a busy hotel environment. Whether you're here for sunrise beach walks, sunset views over the Intracoastal, or simply relaxing by the pool, Nautilus Sunset Escape is the perfect Flagler Beach getaway.



This property will allow up to two dogs (no cats) under 25 pounds, which must be housebroken. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $150. Any pet over the limit must obtain approval. All guests must complete required paperwork and acknowledge pet rules prior to arrival.



*NOTE: The kitchen will be remodeled in April 2026 along with the flooring.*

We stayed for 6 weeks. Peaceful building. Great condo, cute decor. Some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen, right from my balcony. Not a place for party people. Everything you need is not far, but far enough to be out of the hustle and bustle. Golf course is NOT up and running. Definitely would recommend.

quite and restful vacation

Very private and restful stay, the beach was beautiful and the ocean was amazing and clean. If you need to breathe relax and no hustle and bustle this place is for you!

Great location

The condo was what we expected. The parking space in the basement is very narrow and difficult to navigate. However, there was adequate parking near the front door.

As for the construction next door, our listing photos, visible before booking, do show the building that was being constructed at the time, though it is no longer active. The property and the condo itself was very nice and easy to get to and get settled. The area around the condo was lacking major shopping except for the grocery store which was very close. Overall the condo was very clean and well stocked which I appreciated.

Flagler Beach is know for it's laid back atmosphere, local eclectic shops, six miles of uncrowded shoreline, ocean-view dining, lush green parks, bountiful fishing spots, surfable waves, and free access to the beach. Other than the local stores you would need to make the short drive to Palm Coast for the larger big boxed retail stores. Thank you for being our guest! The property was beautifully kept. The pool was great, and distance to the beach couldn’t have been better. Our hosts were responsive and accommodating. Our unit was immaculate and had all of the extras we needed for a week stay. Great for a quiet and peaceful getaway. Check in, check out, messaging, all the things -couldn’t have been better!My only complaint is about the permanent residents who were overly vigilant of the pool and openly put-out by our children and large family. We had three families in three separate units gathering for a vacation, and though we followed the rules, it was very obvious that we were disruptive to them.

My vacation with VRBO

The vrbo accommodations that we stayed at during our vacation on October 8th to October 15th was absolutely clean and well kept. We were pleasantly surprised at how organized everything was. It was very easy to get into the building and the apartment because of the directions that they sent ahead of time. The was only one problem that we had during our entire stay. Crows kept flying over our heads to the balcony above us which I'm assuming it's 901. I think they may have been feeding them, and we couldn't sit out on the balcony at 801 because the birds were defecating all over it. Other than the crow problem, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Condo Review

The Condo was good, a little dated but very clean. Had everything you need to prepare meals, cleaning supplies were abundant, and very comfortable. The area doesn't have enough amenities around it. We had to drive 10-15 minutes to anywhere except for Publix which was very close. The view was nice. The property was very clean and easy to get around. Overall I enjoyed my stay very much.

Check in easy. Was told view from golf course. Course was closed. Internet quit working half way through stay never got it back on. Needed to work and unable to do so.No hot water in master shower. Very bad smell in kitchen told to put dishwasher pod in disposal that was not working due to pipes being replaced.Very nice access to beach. There was a lady that screamed at everyone in the pool from her balcony.Dog friendly and great area for dog walking.Loved Flagler Beach and restaurants.

Hi Terry, Thank you for your feedback—we're glad you enjoyed the easy check-in, the beach access, and the dog-friendly neighborhood. Flagler Beach is definitely a special place! I did want to clarify a few things mentioned in your review. You reached out to us about the internet two days before your departure, and it was during the later evening hours. We tried to troubleshoot over the phone, but I needed to contact the internet provider directly. Since it was late, I followed up with them the next morning, and they confirmed the service was back up and running. Your wife also called the day before check-out to report an odor coming from the kitchen sink. I offered to send someone out right away to check both the sink and internet connection, but was told not to worry about it since you were leaving the next day. The hot water issue in the master shower was not mentioned during your stay. After reading your review, we immediately inspected it and found no issues with the hot water. We stayed for 4 weeks and had a great time. Ours sons visited a week at a time and found plenty to do. In the pictures it’s all accurate, the furnishings were all comfortable. No maintenance issues. Parking was tight with a pickup inside, but enough space’s available outside. Laundry and trash chute down the hall. Simple to get to the beach, new landscaping is really nice by the beach. Kids picked a lot of shells. Quiet beachWhen we were there in march. Beautiful sunset and golf course view from the deck. We had a worry free experience.
