Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The reserving of the condo with Brooks and Shorey went very smoothly. We were notified the keyless entry code on time and were in the condo with no trouble. We experience some difficulty with the cable tv. I contacted B and S who had a maintenance person and Cable guy their within 30 minutes. The problem was resolved and the Cable company installed a new box for the tv. The condo was very clean when we arrived. Checkout was smooth. we were notified when and how to check out. I called them early on our departure day to let them know when the condo was empty so housekeeping could schedule their time.

Great beach location

The condo is great. The beach is right out the front doorWe were a bit disappointed by the variety of restaurants and sitting out on terraces. Don’t go here for the nightlife. But the beach is fantastic!!

The condo has super spacious bedrooms and the unit was spotlessly clean. Living room could use some updated furniture but we were out most of the time so it didn’t matter to us. Would stay here again.

Week at the beach at Easter

Weather was great accommodations couldn’t be much better. Had one small issue and maintenance handled it. Beach chairs and umbrella were wonderful.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We sent this directly in after we checked out. Would not stay again. No smoke detectors (they were all disconnected), bathroom walls were dirty, sliding doors did not lock and no deadbolt on front door. People walking on roof which was confirmed by the chair that they get up there through a small hole. You could hear footsteps all night.

The roof access stays locked all the time, and there is no reason for anyone to be there, unless a vendor needs to access the air-conditionings system. We will pass this comment to Homeowners association but we believe that it was just a sound created when the A/C units turn on. We are very sorry that you are disappointed with this unit, but we hope that you will give Okaloosa Island another chance - maybe in a different complex?

Our daughter referred us to book through Brooks n Shorey, as she is a well pleased previous customer. She was not wrong!! Best service ever! Our new go to for vacay rentals! The condo was the cleanest we have ever stayed in! Well stocked kitchen! Well maintained! Everything worked! And decor was so beachy great! We were sooo pleased with Brooks n Shorey! We would definitely recommend this rental company to our friends n family! Such an awesome vacation with family! Thank you for your service and quality! See you next time!

Beautiful Condo

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed here before under previous management, so we knew what to expect. Overall we love this condo but two flaws: all the living room furniture sits unusually low. We take the armchairs out of the bedrooms and use those in the livingroom during our stay. And the floors do not come clean. It's not the cleaner; we stayed three months, I scrubbed twice a week and could not get the floors clean. Walk an hour on them in white socks and see for yourself. It's rather gross. The LVP seems loose in spots in the back bedroom. The management is good but my partner is not okay with the maybe/maybe not check in at 4pm policy. We were able to check in on time (early, actually, but we weren't in town til 4pm) and for him that's a deal breaker do we probably would pass on Brooks & Shorey next time.
