Do you want to stay by the sea?

Completely new renovated apartment Lucija in House Tereza consists of one bedroom (double bed 160x200cm), kitchen with living room and bathroom with walk in shower. There is electric stove, microwave, kettle, filter coffee machine and 2 air conditioning in the apartment. There is no oven and washing machine in the unit.Bed linens and bathroom towels are provided, but beach towel are not provided. Apartment is on the 1st floor which means one floor above ground floor and stairs in the house to climb up. Private parking is just in front of the apartment.

Just 10 minutes from the busy city centre on a peaceful village road, and only a short walk from the bus stop, apartment Lucija (House Tereza) sits on a quiet and relaxing seafront overlooking the beautifully tranquil Zaton Bay.

Swimming is LITERALLY on your doorstep, without even having to cross a road, and without encountering a long, hot climb up the cliffs, which is more usual around the Dubrovnik area. We are offering private waterfront with sunbeds & umbrellas included. There is a ground floor terrace for dining shared with other guests staying in the house. Outdoor area is shared with other guests staying in House Tereza.

There are several restaurant and two well equipped mini-markets near the bus stop, and several other good restaurants a gentle stroll away, within easy walking distance around the bay. But you may not want to dine out once you have enjoyed your covered terrace to dine al fresco, overlooking the sea. Sunbathe on the sun terrace with your sun bed & umbrella. Or, if you are feeling more energetic we have paddle board for hire and boat trips to the Islands.

Great place. The reason for the 4 and not a five there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom; no beer glasses; and sparse flatware. It wouldn’t have hurt to have had a roll of kitchen towels.

Great holiday!

We loved our weeks stay, apartment was recently refurbished to a lovely standard. Stunning view and just a few steps into the sea. Such a relaxing place to stay, we made use of the paddleboard and boat trip! Shops within walking distance and also bus stop! Everything we needed was at our fingertips!

Fantastic place to stay

Loved everything about Zaton Bay, idilic spot to see Dubrovnik. The bay is breathtaking, especially having your first coffee of the day from your balcony looking out on to the bay is just beautiful. Lovely apartment in a beautiful spot right by the sea - with restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance. Bus stop also nearby and, as the property owners are happy to do the airport run ( for a reasonable fee) a hire car is unnecessary.

Gorgeous property, right on the water, balcony to myself. Very lovely owners and manager. Explained everything and helped us with buses and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed my 6 night stay and did not want to leave. Highly recommend to anyone that wants a relaxing stay away from the hustle of Old Town. Only a 15 min ride on a local bus for 2.30€ each way

Great Location

Lovely apartment right on the waters edge. Balcony was superb for light evening dining or just to sip a glass of local wine. Really convenient for visiting Dubrovnic and for forest and hill walking just behind the village. The natural beauty of this area and the wildlife are stunning. Highly recommended.

Exceptional place in an exquisite location

Anita was extremely helpful from the moment we booked. We cherish good communication with property owners and Anita was great. The property is well appointed, very modern and streamlined. A great little kitchen. Just out the door, you can dive into the lovely Adriatic. Need supplies? Just a quick walk up to the local Studenac. Need good food? Just walk down the esplanade. Such a great place to stay - cannot recommend it highly enough. Avoid the crowds of Dubrovnik old town, catch a quick Uber or bus out to this place and soak it in! Love it!

Relaxation in Zaton Mali

House Tereza is a very nice family-run inn along the water's edge in Zaton Mali. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax while experiencing the local food and culture. We spent the week swimming and exploring the bay and nearby Elaphiti Islands by boat and loved it. Luca, Tereza, Anita, Tom and Pashko were very welcoming and accommodating. Quiet, relaxing, cute apartment. Perfect getaway from hot crowded Dubrovnik

This a wonderful place to stay. Check in was easy with the option to be picked up from the airport. The apartment is cute, clean, and with everything you need including a small kitchen. Everything (restaurants, bus stop, grocery store) was conveniently located/walkable. We enjoyed many peaceful breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the water and also enjoyed sunbathing on the patio/swimming in the bay. Would highly recommend staying here as it was a nice escape from hot/crowded Dubrovnik. It was very easy/cheap to take the bus to/from Dubrovnik as desired. Thank you for a lovely vacation!!

Fantastic location, absolutely stunning!

The location of the apartment is right on the waterfront in a really beautiful bay. The sea is very calm and great for swimming. The apartment has everything you need and is clean. At check in the information provided was invaluable, where to find the supermarket, local restaurants and how to use the busses. From the apartment Dubrovnik is only 15 minutes on the local bus, very easy to reach. Dubrovnik old town was amazing. This was a fantastic week away!

Fantastic location with stunning views

We rented the one bedroom apartment for a week. The views from the apartment are absolutely stunning. Such an amazing view to wake up to each morning. Zaton Mali is very quiet, with a couple of lovely restaurants and supermarkets within 5 mins walk. If you want it busy, the local bus takes you into Dubrovnik. Antia and her family are lovely hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We loved our stay and will definitely return. Thanks Anita & family.

A delightful, peaceful retreat.

Airport pickup by the host and an informed tour back to the appartment, which was very clean and just as described. The house location was near perfect and Zaton Bay is beautiful. The sea was clean and warm (even in May) and we swam several times a day from the house jetty. The iocal supermarkets, bus routes and resaurants were good and very friendiy. Easy access to Dubrovnic. A special mention for Dandy's Restaurant and Anita, and family who were great. Not ideal for the Stag and Hen party people, another plus for us!

Total Relaxation

Everything was easy and efficient. The booking process was problem free and Luko and his family did evetything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. House Tereza is in a stunning location right on the waters edge. The room was clean, spacious and has all you need to ensure all your requirements are met. Restaurants are a short stroll away and trips into the old town of Dubrovnik are easy and inexpensive. I would particularly recommend the customised boat trip provided by Pasco...Luco's son in law. It was great to see the islands and get a completely new perspective of Zaton Bay and the surrounding coastline. All in all we had a fantastic time and look forward to returning to House Tereza. Thank you Luco , Tereza, Anita, Tommo and Pasco.

Amazing View

The view from balcony was wonderful. We enjoyed the walk round to the next bay and went swimming most days we were there. We had a Dubrovnik Pass 3 days and this was brilliant, just enough time to see all we needed to see. The bus stop was just 8 minutes up the road and it cost eur 4.60 each way for two of us. We did hire car but very little space to park in Dubrovnik. The apartment was clean and there was plenty of space in bedroom. Only downside was the smell from the bathroom we were not sure where it was coming from, but we did not mention to owners at the time. There was quite a lot of noise from two couples on the ground floor but when you share accommodation you never know who you will be sharing with. All in all we had a brilliant time and Croatia is such a beautiful country. The instruction from the Airport to the House were brilliant. Driving in Croatia was very easy and then views spectacular.

Beautiful location ... lovely people

Our first ever visit to Croatia and we wanted to combine a city break to Dubrovnik with a relaxing few days exploring the area ... and this location satisfies both as it is only a short bus ride into Dubrovnik and a wonderful location in which to relax for a few days. House Tereza is right on the edge of the Adriatic in a beautiful bay in which you can swim, kayak, or fish ... as the fancy takes you. The apartments are clean, well maintained and although our bathroom was quite small it did not detract from our stay. The owners are quite delightful with Luko collecting us from, and taking us back to, the airport. Nothing was too much trouble and Luko and Anita in particular were so helpful in making sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible ... bus timetables, cruise ship arrivals (so as to avoid our visits to the city being overly congested!), and booking for boat trips all being part and parcel of the service available. We would certainly recommend House Tereza. Locally there are a few nice restaurants, in particular Tavern Arka ... great food, excellent service and a nice terrace or interior to enjoy. Pick up a flyer from House Tereza to get a 10% discount ... and try the John Dory or Tuna steak, absolutely superb. Otherwise, Konoba Vala is a gentle stroll around the bay and great for lunch/dinner. Both food and service were good in our experience. We also tried Konoba Dandy but the food was not quite as good although breakfast was good sitting right on the edge of the bay. In terms of attractions ... the old city, the cable car, Lokrum island, the three island trip all must do's. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and wish House Tereza every success for the future.
