No internet

The property was nice. The patio furniture was old and rusty. The toilet was messed up hut the property manager sent someone to fix it. We were never able to get on the internet and when I emailed no one ever called me back.

Kitchen not very clean

The stove and microwave still had food on them. Probably just an oversight by cleaning crew. And the floors did not appear to have been vacuumed prior to our arrival. Also the kitchen sink faucet is weird to turn on/off and some water sprays out when you have it at a certain pressure. We contacted the management company and they offered to have the cleaners come back which was nice but unnecessary since we cleaned it ourselves already. Also back patio slider door doesn’t want to stay closed unless you lock it which is a little difficult to do. We also lost power the morning we were checking out (the whole building did). And the elevator obviously stopped working as well which made getting all our stuff to the parking garage more cumbersome and took a lot longer than anticipated. Overall it’s a decent condo in a good location.

DO NOT BOOK THIS. Property is nothing like the pictures. We arrived to this property and it clearly had not been cleaned in a long time. There were used q tips and balls of hair in the bathroom drawers. There was even a used toothbrush in one of the drawers. The air vents were coated in a thick layer of dust and dirt. There was also a dead roach in the middle of the floor. The patio door did not even open. The dryer was broken. We were staying with our one year old and didn't feel safe letting him crawl around with the amount of dirt everywhere. This rental is run through Vacasa who did not return our calls. We had to eventually go to their office and speak with several people to get a refund. They did refund pretty painlessly so I think they knew the property wasn't up to par. This experience has turned me off of any rental property, we will be sticking to hotels from now on.

Great for our family

This place was great for our family. There was plenty of space for the four of us, since the place could really handle more people. The location was good...and we used the tennis courts which were adequately playable. We went for walks every morning and walked to the beach and to shopping/dining. I would definitely stay here again. I did have some minor annoyances, however: Several had complained about the Internet not working...probably because the emailed instructions are wrong...but I was able to get everyone connected using the network that starts with Uni__. However, the main tv was a Roku tv and it needs the owner to enter a code that displays on the tv for it to connect. The owner never responded to my requests via email...so we had no tv in the den. There are multiple other tvs however...and they have cable and Roku streaming. I didn't get the email about the door code or the tennis code at first...so I had to call the 800 number for those. The number I called couldn't give me the correct tennis court code...but you can reach through the fence to unlock it. Overall, though, these were minor annoyances that were overwhelmed by the positives that this place offers. As I said, I would stay here again.

Nice enough but needs some maintenance

The property was overall fairly nice and the location was very convenient to the beach, shopping and dining. However, maintenance is desperately needed. One of the sinks in the master bath drained extremely slowly and the hot water wasn't working in the entire master bath. The kitchen sink/disposal smelled so overpowering of rotting fish that we had to purchase vinegar and baking soda ($3.38) to clean it ourselves to make the smell bearable in the living area. The smoke alarm in the master was chirping during our stay which resulted in lost sleep the first night. We contacted Vacasa the next day, and were told the local property manager would send a maintenance person. No one showed up. We purchased a battery ($4.27) and replaced it ourselves. The greatest concern was the large amount of mold growing out of and around the A/C vent in the bedroom with the full bed. Everyone was afraid of the health hazard of sleeping in that room. We took pictures if you would like to see. Basic housekeeping was adequate (other than the kitchen sink/disposal), and on par with what we all expected based on experiences with other home rentals, but there are some serious maintenance issues that should be addressed.

Couldn’t sleep because…

I the apartment felt dirty and unsafe. Upon initial glance all seemed fine. Then I noticed small black hairs all over main bathroom (I’m a redhead) , a dead bug and dirts along edges of room, dirty light switches and to top it off two mason jars with dead flowers that seems to have been there for over a month. The water was murky yellow and funky smelling. Finally, I realize that they had left both sliding glass doors open for god.knows how long. One was completely broken and so I could only keep it securely closed with a small metal rod I found next to the door. I was refunded 180, of the total 864, which I think is a small gesture, but still inadequate considering my experience .

Forest villa 101

We had a family of 8 and there was plenty of room for all. Villa was clean and very nice. It is also very convenient to walk to beach, shops, grocery. Our grandkids loved watching the turtles off the balcony. It was very quiet even though we were on the lower level, there is an elevator and luggage roll racks to make it so easy to get your luggage to the villa. Also garage parking so cars stay cooler in summer. I gave it a 4 because the twin beds were noisy to sleep on and uncomfortable. But overall we were so very pleased and will return next year.

Perfect for my family

Beautiful, relaxing unit. Short walk to the beach, local food, grocery store and shopping. Such a lovely area. I enjoyed my coffee on the balcony each morning. So quiet and calming. My granddaughters enjoyed seeing the turtles just below the balcony. Perfect for our family spring break. The unit was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We will definitely return for another stay. Thanks for sharing your lovely condo with us!

Great for location and price

This space worked perfectly for two families and cousins to play! Its proximity to go everywhere without having to use the car and the kids could walk/ride in a wagon made getting around so easy.

Great location but clean me!!!!

We picked a new spot this year given that we were vacationing with another family. Location is perfection. Bring (3) fire sticks if you want to watch tv at all during your stay. Most places include bikes and beach chairs this place does not. This condo had mold. The air vents look like they have never been clean. Really dissatisfied with the maintenance/cleanliness of the property. Mold..bathrooms, windows, ceilings. It’s all over. I felt like the house needed to be power washed in certain areas.

Great location. Furniture is worn. AC doesn’t go below 71. WiFi is slow. Mold in shower. Shower faucet needs to be replaced. Beds are uncomfortable. Unit needs maintenance. Pool is nice and big.

Great location but in desperate need of deep clean and maintenance

This condo is in an amazing location! Walking distance to Coligny beach, so many shops and restaurants and an AMAZING park and play area for kids. Washer and dryer worked well for us and made clean up after the beach so much nicer- we did buy our own laundry detergent as not much was provided for the 6 nights and 5 adults and child staying there. The negatives: We checked in right at 4 and the condo was not ready for us- cleaning crew was still there and continued to finish up for 45 min while we sat and waited with all our stuff and a 1 year old… very inconvenient. After they left I got a look at the cleaning job and was immediately disappointed.. dirty dishes in the microwave, dirty utensils put away in the drawer, dead bugs and old food on the floor that never got vacuumed up, the track of the sliding glass door doesn’t look like it’s ever been cleaned just to give you an idea.. similar complaints on cleanliness in the bathrooms and the bedrooms. Maintenance wise: twin beds and double bed very hard, uncomfortable and noisy! The kitchen sink handle reversed for on and off, no batteries in the smoke detector (cover just hanging open), master sink doesn’t drain well and master shower hot water takes more than 5 min to heat up and then will randomly get cold and hot during your shower, plumbing is very noisy and the ice maker makes a loud knocking noise all the time when it’s turned on .. when I reached out to management about cleanliness and not ready when check in was available they said well it’s to be expected due to high turnover and limited cleaning staff with covid as well as proceeded to tell me about a time when she stayed at a unit where she couldn’t even walk without shoes on because the floor was so gross (I hope that is not their expectation of cleanliness for their properties) they did offered to send the cleaning crew back out but never actually followed through with sending anyone.. never even bothered to notify of maintenance issues after the response I got when I reached out about cleanliness issues. Overall great location but with the cleanliness issues would definitely pick another rental in the same area.

Great space, details slightly overlooked

Location and space in the apartment were great. Easy walk to the beach (a pretty crowded section of public beach) and super close to shops/restaurants/grocery. Nice tv’s in every room. Downsides were the beds - twin beds are very uncomfortable and incredibly noisy. Murphy bed was also uncomfortable. In addition the plumbing was incredibly loud in the twin bedroom, flushing noises from own apartment and neighboring one are loud enough to wake you. Shower knob in master bedroom was broken making it very difficult to get hot water. And vacuuming had not been done effectively. It’s a mixed bag. The space is great, but some fixable details that I had seen prior reviews about don’t seem to be addressed.

Very spacious

The condo was very spacious and clean. We loved how close we were to the beach and shops/restaurants. Parking was ok. We picked up packet and car passes from main office which is not on the premises of condo.

Owner Prop Mgt Please Read

Unit was not rent ready! Needs maintenance! Master toilet plunged several times, something isn’t correct. Hall toilet handle doesn’t work properly Outside the Front door needs trip warning!!! Hot water in master bath goes cold & hot suddenly Hall bath door lock is non operable Cabinets in bedroom with Murphy bed has potential tipping hazard. Baseboards and floors especially in the corners are very dirty. Blue & yellow plastic toy in Murphy bedroom exploded a white powdery substance everywhere. We cleaned what we could. We have no idea what it was or what it was filled with. Live Bug was found in 3rd bedroom with twin beds on one of the beds. Dining table is also a tipping hazard, the glass isn’t steady. Unit has a lot of noise outside, not good for anyone looking for piece and quiet. Unit is located in a heart of Coligny circle which makes it a great place to stay, we’ve stayed at other units in this area before. We love the convenient location! Middle bedroom has Murphy style bed and two stacks of books are the legs. Kitchen sink handle is installed improperly. Shower curtain in hall bathroom is old and stained! Internet connection is not adequate for all of the guests devices to run smoothly without interruptions, (4 guests devices) Light above the stove doesn’t work properly Remote control batteries were dead or don’t work. Sink in the master bathroom barely drains and toilet stops up easily too. Mold / crud around drains Comforters on some beds need cleaned or replaced - dingy odors All lampshades are dirty / dusty Outdoor patio cushions are old and dingy. Not able to sit on most of them there are several things that were very disappointing about this condo, I will never rent this one again. Upside to the condo Plenty of coffee cups and cooking utensils Washer & Dryer seemed to work fine The book and game selection is very good! It’s centrally located near Coligny Circle The unit is on the 1st floor Plenty of bath towels for guests Extra blankets in closets Large dining table seats 6 Patio overlooks a small pond with wildlife and is mostly shaded I gave this property 3 stars because although the unit was dirty and not rent ready the location is wonderful if you like being close to shopping and dining.

Great location close to beach and shoppes!

We enjoyed staying here while celebrating Thanksgiving with family in nearby Bluffton. The condo is in a great location near public beach access and the shops at Coligny. We had fun riding bikes on the beach and on the convenient bike paths. The cleanliness could have been better, as we found dirt and hairs on pillows and bedding that need to be washed. The kitchen has everything we needed, so that was great. There are a couple maintenance items: towel rack in bathroom is falling off the wall; fridge ice dispenser has broken plastic housing. If we knew that it would be cleaner, we would definitely come back in the future because it is definitely a great location.

Roomy & Clean!

We had a really nice stay here. Check in was easy and the place had plenty of space for our family. It was nice & clean and had ample accommodations in the kitchen & plenty of linen. The location is about a block from the Coligny shops and we felt like we were right in the heart of everything. Although we’re right across the street from the beach, you can’t just walk across due to private resorts being there. But you can walk down towards Coligny and access the beach there, which was a short walk and not a big issue for us. We will definitely be back in the summer!
