Absolutely gorgeous property in a beautiful part of Hawaii. Very conveniently located near beaches, restaurants, and shopping. The property managers were extremely helpful with recommendations and ensuring all our needs were met throughout our stay. The pool and spa were wonderful, and the house was beautifully decorated. It was spotlessly clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The resort passes were especially appreciated by our group. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, most of the beaches were closed during our stay. Having access to the resort pools, lagoon, and excursions absolutely enhanced our visit. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Aloha Spirit again in the future. It exceeded our expectations and made our trip truly magical. It was a comfortable, luxurious stay in a beautiful and convenient location, hosted by wonderful people. Mahalo!

Great Family Home

The home is as it looks in photos. The pool, spa and lanai are fantastic. Not all the bikes work so that was disappointing and the air conditioning had to be reset a couple times so we had a couple of rather warm evenings. The management tried to fix the bikes (but couldn't during our stay) and the air (which they did efficiently. I would stay at the place again. Kitchen and location were great.

Beautiful Home

Just ended our family reunion in Kona. 10 of us all ages, Loved the location Near snorkeling and sandy, build a castle, beaches. House had everything a large group could need. Towels, beach toys, chairs, etc. kids loved biking into the village. Would highly recommend.

The experience was awesome. The children very much enjoyed the pool and hot tub; the E-Bikes were a huge hit. We rented a golf cart from Kohalo Beach Buggies and it was great for getting around the Waikoloa resort. Many thumbs up on Aloha Spirit

Peace and quite in paradise

We found this property to be clean, well presented and well stocked with everything that we needed for our stay. This was our first stay in a vacation home on a resort. It is in a little enclave set apart from the hustle and bustle of the resort, but with easy access to resort amenities and stores etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and used the e-bikes quite frequently to get around. We would definitely come back here

Paradise in paradise.

This property was as lovely as the island itself. Very spacious, warm and inviting, simply a 10 all around. If you are looking for comfort, problem free, and a very responsive property manager the buck stops here!!! I wish this property manager would give us a list of other properties they manage since they did this one so well. Next stop Paris, then Greece.

40th Birthday Celebration

What a nice property in a good quiet neighborhood close to the beach, shopping, and other fun activities. The outdoor living area including the pool would be hard to top. The 12” deep shallow area is genius. Perfect for families with small children or Adults that want to lounge in the water. The bedrooms, bath, and living areas were clean and spacious. We also appreciated the garage full of beach equipment.

Lovely private home with everything!

Well equipped and beautifully designed The only negative is the patio door alarms It’s very unfortunate one cannot have the fresh air - ever- and the fact that they’re very sensitive... We definitely enjoy indoor/ outdoor living with open doors, but the door alarms take that option away entirely

We apologize that you felt that the pool alarms were a nuisance during your stay, but Hawaii law requires that all homes with pools have these in place. Just like fire extinguishers and smoke detectors, these are only intended to keep our guests and their families safe. When you rent from Paradise in Hawaii you know you are renting from a professional Property Management Company that adheres to safety laws, and also cares about the safety of you and your loved ones.

Family visit to Waikoloa

We enjoyed the spaciousness,pool, spa and privacy. The pool, beach and toys were very useful. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies for meal preparation and grilling. The linens and bedding appeared clean. But the towels were unusable. When went we to clean them we found mold in the washing machine perhaps this was the source. The remotes did not have batteries and were in the wrong rooms.

We enjoyed our stay at Aloha Spirit! The location and amenities far exceeded our expectations. The house was perfect for our multi-generational family. The house was fully stocked for cooking in. They included everything from air fryer to Ninja blender and everything in between. The selection of provided spices and seasonings were also great and helped us save money not having to buy all of that. For our big group we found Costco in Kona and KTA in Waikoloa Village to be great cost savers.The house pool and activities for teens were awesome! Kids loved riding the e-bikes to the Hilton Resort and out to watch sunsets. The French fridge held a ton of food and made cooking in easy. The provided beach chairs, snorkel gear and coolers were also all in great shape. We did donate a higher beach chair for the older generation that we got at Costco. Hapuna-Puako Beach over by the bay was our favorite beach spot. The resort entrance was seamless and the provided pool towels made day trips easy. The resort is huge but did not feel crowded as there are so many options of things to do - slides, swimming, snorkeling, watching the dolphins, etc.We found the location to be perfect for day trips. We were able to see the entire island. One day we went to Volcanoes NP and Black Sand Beach and a second adventure day we went up to Waipou Valley, Akaka Falls and Hilo. We also snorkeled at Two Step for free using the provided snorkel gear.Highly recommend this rental!!

Great location and house, challenging technology

Overall, stay was pretty good. House and pool are fantastic and in a great location. However, I would say there were several frustrations tied to the technology and maintenance of the house. Specifically: 1) Loud beeping noise in bedroom from failing sensor. There was no way for us to fix it and were told everyone was asleep so couldn't be fixed at night- which means zero sleep for us. Noise even went through my earplugs. 2) They have sensors on every door and window. When any of these are opened, the AC is shut down. However, the sensor easily fell off and overall the sensors made it tough to keep house cool 3) Water heater repeatedly went out during our 1 week stay. So overall it was a nice location but the fallings on these technologies made it hard to sleep and actually enjoy the space.

It was really nice to have you and your family back with us for a return visit. We were disappointed to hear that you had difficulties during your stay including a failed pool alarm. The pool alarms are required by law but shouldn't have failed. We have expanded staff coverage to help in these situations. The AC sensors are only on the large lanai slider doors as previous guests were running the AC continuously and leaving the doors wide open leading to huge waste. These kinds of AC door sensors are very common in Hawaii to help the environment and save wasted electricity. We also have resolved the intermittent issue that was affecting the hot water for a couple of rooms in the home. As you know from your previous stay, we value our guest feedback very much and your comfort is very important to us. It would be great to have you and your family back one day to Aloha Spirit in Ainamalu, as we agree that the location is tough to beat!

Nice family property

We recently stayed at this home during our trip to Hawaii and had a generally positive experience with a few drawbacks. The house itself is very nice—spacious, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. The location was excellent, with easy access to local amenities and clear directions provided.That said, there were a few issues that affected our stay. When we arrived, the house was extremely hot (86F) and took a long time to cool down. We later found out the thermostat is restricted from going below 72F, which made it hard to cool the space to our comfort level—especially given the cost of the stay, we expected more flexibility in this regard.There were also a few maintenance hiccups: none of the TV remotes worked, and the hot tub didn’t heat up properly several times. However, the owners were very responsive and quick to send someone to fix issues when we reached out, which we appreciated.One thing to be aware of: despite the 500 cleaning fee, guests are still required to do quite a bit before checkout, like running laundry for all towels and taking out all garbage.Also worth noting—due to local regulations, the house has strict automation for doors and windows. You can’t leave doors open longer than 7 seconds without a loud alarm, and opening a window will shut off the AC. This means getting any fresh air in the house is nearly impossible.Overall, the home has great potential, and we enjoyed our time, but a few adjustments wo

Quick switch from Hilton to this vrbo

We had reservations for four rooms at the Hilton and upon arrival we were unhappy with the location, bugs in the rooms and other issues. I found this home on Vrbo and to our luck it was available for the dates we were needing. We canceled our stay at Hilton and promptly moved our stay to this lovely home. The home floor plan is nicely laid out with nice separation of space. The great room with kitchen, living room and dining all in it had lots of space for our extended family of seven. The driveway fit our three rental cars easily. The laundry room was great to have. The backyard set up was a great place to drink coffee in the morning and watch the sunrises and in the evening to enjoy the hot tub. We even saw a large herd of goats pass by the back fence. Our only complaint was that the backyard furniture cushions had stains on them and there was bird poop everywhere on the seats and pool loungers. The pool had issues when we first arrived that took a few days to get straightened out and then the pool temp struggled to get to the temp they advertised as well. We also had issues with the kitchen gas stove. The burner knobs the words were wore off do you couldn’t tell where to turn them to light or lower temperature. A few times the right front burner had trouble lighting and once it lit there was a whoosh which could be dangerous for someone but thankfully we have gas stoves and knew safety precautions. The home’s rental management team had great response time.

Perfect for our family celebration!

We celebrated my 75th birthday at this beautiful house. The home was perfect for my family of 6 adults and 3 children. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the beautiful yard and lanai. It was well equipped with lots of beach chairs, boogie boards, bikes and helmets, a cooler......it had it all. The kitchen had every "tool" you'd need - more than most home kitchens! The only thing missing was a griddle for pancakes. Bedrooms were as advertised and everyone took their turn using the outdoor shower! We had a marvelous time and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a great time with all the amenities at your fingertips.

Bliss and sunshine

This was such a great house- perfect for two families to share, decorated very well, and the private pool and hot tub were so great to have! The location was fantastic as well- the beaches on this side of the island are amazing. It was easy to get to Costco from the house but also easy to make it all the way over to Hilo or up the the volcano. We loved this house!

We found this house perfect for our group.

We found beach chairs, towels and everything else to make our stay great! The property managers were quick to respond to emails, the house was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The pool was so nice and the hot tub great especially after a long bike ride!

Beautiful vacation home

The house is beautiful! You get what you see in the photos. The pool and patio area was clean and a nice size. It did take the rental company a lil while to get back to us in regards to why the hot tub was not getting hot and the hot tub never got as hot as hot tubs should, but they did respond quickly to other questions/concerns that we had and they were really accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. After you stay here, you will not be able to stay anywhere else when you’re in Kona. The property is that beautiful and spacious.

Great house.

Very clean and modern. Comfortable furniture, with the exception of the 2 chairs in the great room, but acceptable. Very nice outdoor area with pool/spa, table and grill. We had an issue with the AC one day, and the managers responded immediately when we contacted them, completely resolving the issue. I definitely recommend this property.
