An easy drive to the quaint town of historic Southport and 12 minutes to Oak Island beaches. A screened in balcony opens to view the secluded tree-lined property and beautiful golf course. Enjoy fishing at the pier on the inter coastal waterway, walking and biking trails, as well as the private St. James Beach Club on Oak Island. Long term rental (1 month or more) available at a discount.

The host was kind and gracious, especially because I messed up the reservation. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need. Everything was super clean and it was really comfortable.

The condo was just as I expected and matched the description. The unit was very clean and the location on the 2nd fairway made it interesting to watch the passing golfers. The owner was very responsive to my questions. Would definitely go back sgain!

Long weekend golf get away

Multiple Visits

We have stayed in this condo multiple times, and have always enjoyed the stay. The condo is clean, has a well stocked kitchen, nice linens, and is in a great location. Communications with Bill are easy with quick responses. We will stay here again.

A week at St.James Plantation

This condo was home-away-from-home: beautifully furnished, new appliances in the kitchen, lovely view over the golf course and minutes away from both Southport, where we went for shopping and dining, and Wilmington, where we visited Bellamy Mansion. The owner of the condo was easy to reach and very friendly. I highly recommend this condo for anyone visiting the area.

Girls Golf Trip

This was the perfect location for a girls golf trip, and right on hole #2! Very clean and great communication. We didn't have time to explore, but easy to get to and a beautiful neighborhood.

Great Vacation

We had a great time. The livingroom was spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook in several nights. The pool just a short walk from the condo was awesome.

St. James and Oak Island vacation

Very nice condo at St. James. It was roomy, clean, and quiet. We have been coming to the Southport/Oak Island area for 16 yrs and have stayed at St. James a number of times (from homes to condos). This is one of the nicer properties. One of the reasons that we picked this property was the ability to use the Beach Club. Unbeknownst to us, the beach club is under construction. You cannot access it from the beachfront at all. The pool is not available for use (and we asked staff - who told us the pool is closed until construction of the walkways is completed). Maybe owners were not informed of the restrictions during construction? Either way, I wish I had known that the club was under construction before booking. Overall, we had a great time. As usual, Southport and Oak Island did not disappoint! As a bonus, we watched them film a show for Netflix as we happened upon it while shopping downtown Southport. Fun!

Wonderful, Clean & Spacious!

Short trip from SW Virginia to vacation with my son who flew in from Boston… We were delighted with the large, very comfortable & well appointed 2 bedroom/2 bath home looking over a fairway & nestled in an oasis that reminds me of our many trips to Kiawah Island, SC! The pool is clean and perfect temperature with nice set up for laying back~ the beach club on Oak Island off 72 St SE has large pool, bathrooms and a dining area & overlooks a beautiful expanse of beach with plenty of parking! Highly recommend this Rental and look forward to our next such opportunity soon! Thank you Bill & Michelle for providing us a significant happy memory!😊

Celebrating mamas

The stay at this St. James condo was fabulous. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The communication was the best I have ever experienced. Days before my weekend vacation I received info on how to get into St. James and the codes to gates and condo. It was my husband’s birthday and Mother’s Day weekend. What I loved about St. James was how beautiful the grounds are and the security. It was fun sitting on the balcony watching folk playing golf and the cute little black squirrels with white faces running around. I highly recommend staying here. We stayed May 10th to the 12th. I look forward to coming back!!

Very clean property with great views. Easy to get to, great communication from owner, quiet neighborhood. It’s located in a gated community that can be a little confusing to navigate. We were there 5 days and needed to use our navigation every time, but, once you get outside the community it’s very close to grocery stores and other amenities. We went to the beach one day which was a short drive. It’s also a great community for walking. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the property to anyone looking to visit the area.

Restful retreat in St. James Plantation

Spent a mother/daughter weekend at this lovely third floor condo. It was tastefully decorated with updated furnishings. The kitchen was stocked with nice equipment and pans. We enjoyed the large SMART TV in the living room. The owner was responsive with communication. It was a very restful place to spend a weekend near the beach.

Weekend trip

Loved our stay at this lovely condo at St. James Plantation. Fully stocked, even though we were only there for the weekend, but would have been perfect for a longer stay. Furnishings and decorations were perfect. Very comfortable, as if it were you own. Communication was perfect - couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thanks!

Quiet and Relaxing Stay

We stayed for a few nights in this condo. It was just as described and one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed in! There’s a nice screened-in porch to view the golf course from the top floor. The bed was comfortable, and all appliances that we used worked just fine.

The property was clean, fully stocked kitchen, nice linens, and lovely screeded in porch for golf viewing. We throughly enjoyed this unit. Maybe mention in the details it’s a 3rd floor walk up. We are older and a little bit of a struggle.

Christmas visit

We had a lovely stay here! Bill was so kind and easy to communicate with. The condo is beautifully decorated, it was so nice there were pretty Christmas decorations too! We were at St James for an extended family gathering and this place made our visit extra special!

St. James is a very special place, and the Club Villas are the “Crown Jewel” for temporary lodging. Our place was beautifully decorated, comfortable and well equipped. And to top it off, our host, Bill, was the most accommodating of any owner I have ever met…a true gentleman. This villa is the place to stay!

Great little getaway

Clean, bright, cute condo with everything you need, overlooking the golf course in beautiful St James. We really enjoyed our time at the beach and having access to the beach club. We lunched at the marina, shopped in Southport, and had a fabulous dinner at Salt 64 in Oak Island. Bill was a great communicator. All on all, it was a great little getaway !
