Best One Bedroom View In Port Aransas!

This newly remodeled 1 bedroom condo is located in the heart of Port Aransas on beautiful Mustang Island in the Dunes Condominium Resort. The second you enter, you will start enjoying your unforgettable view!

We will be updating our photos soon. The photos shown here are pre Harvey, and many improvements have been made since then.

The kitchen has all new appliances, cabinetry and granite counter tops with plenty of cook ware for your chef. The dining table is tall for viewing over the balcony railing as you dine. The sofa is brand new with a pull out queen sized bed. There is an adjustable TV in the living area that can be turned for viewing in the kitchen, dining and living areas. The bedroom has a King sized mattress and new furnishings(very comfy) and a VERY large TV . The bathroom has a soaker tub and removable shower head. There are two vanities, one in the bedroom and one in the bath.

There are tall chairs on your private balcony for your birds eye view of the Lydia Ann ship channel, the Horace Caldwell pier and of course the Gulf of Mexico. You will enjoy spectacular sunrises, watching ships and boats as they glide through the channel, and all of the action at the pier which is the hot spot for surfers and kite boarders and is lighted at night for the avid fisherman.

The complex itself has a large fresh water pool that is heated in the cooler months and a large whirlpool hot tub. There is a shaded lanai, and a spacious sundeck.

This condo is a brand new listing for this summer, so if you see there aren't many bookings, that's the reason. This place will book up fast. We don't rent through the rental pool at the Dunes.

We booked this stay with great expectations that ultimately were exceeded. Great location, awesome views, super facility service, easy access to owner to share info, and a well furnished, comfortable condo. We couldn't have asked for more!

Great location and wonderful unit

The condo is in a perfect spot - great views, steps from the beach and close to restaurants, bars & shopping. The unit was very clean, comfy bed and we liked the telescope to watch the surfers and ships go by.

Wonderful place

This was a sister, friend getaway. We absolutely loved our stay. Love the all windows for a view…close to the beach. The pool and hot tub was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful with information about the area.

Walked in, smelled fresh and clean, wonderful views of beach, fabulous pool, short walk to beach, everything worked, my.only tiny complaint is there needed to be more coffee packets for a 3 day stay.

Anniversary vacation

As noted, the view is fantastic!! The property is very convenient to stores, restaurants and places of interest. We enjoyed walking the beach every day. The staff was very helpful with information and quickly helped us get the TVs working (we're not techies.) The residents also were quite friendly. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Lovely stay!

We had a great stay at The Dunes. The condo was spacious and the view was lovely. The bed was so comfortable. We had a short walk to the beach. The condo provides everything we needed for our vacation. We will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect! Clean room, comfy bed & pillows. Nice bath tub with plenty of hot water. Pool was refreshing & hot tub was relaxing. The view from the balcony can’t be beat!!

Great stay - again!

Truly enjoyed our short stay. This is our second time at this rental. Appreciate being accommodated for early check in. The unit was clean, and had everything we needed. The location is awesome and the view - amazing!!

Kim and I spend the summers in South Dakota where Kim has a farmer consulting business. They grow feed corn and soybeans mostly and I help him with bookkeeping and running the household. He is an agronomist and helps farmers to decide when to fertilize and those kinds of things. Since farming happens in the summertime, it leaves us free to travel south in the winters to get out of the cold weather!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Kim and I purchased this property because of its amazing views and all of the wonderful amenities at the complex. We spend our winters in Port Aransas and wanted to have a place where we could enjoy a heated pool and easy access to the beach. We definitely found that at the Dunes! We love it because it is right in town and that makes grocery shopping, dining and everything that Port A. has to offer much more convenient. We could spend hours just watching the ships sailing through the channel, bird watching, people watching and the moon lite ocean at night. This winter we spent much of our time in Port A. remodeling this little gem. We can't wait to get back there! We love this town!

When we first bought this condo it needed a full remodel! It had drop down ceilings in the kitchen and the whole condo was very dated. But, it was easy to see past all of that because of the stunning views, beautiful grounds, great amenities and friendly staff.
