Excellent Vacation Spot

We were pleasantly surprised to find the house completely stocked with plenty of beach gear including chairs, coolers, snorkeling gear, and boogie boards. The kitchen had all of the appliances we could’ve wanted and there was plenty of extra bedding. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and everything we could’ve wanted. Highly recommend this as a rental.

Beautiful house with all the amenities you need

My family had such a wonderful time staying in this beautiful house. The location is convenient and the activities available through the rental property are fantastic. My children, 5 and 8 years old, took full advantage of the house pool and hot tub, as well as the community pool which was just a 5 minute walk away. We enjoyed the access to the private beach, Mauna Lani beach club and also made use of the complimentary Hilton Waikoloa resort. The house itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Beautiful and very well equipped house!

Had a lovely time with family! Walked for coffee every mornings and the grocery store and restaurants were walkable as well. House has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and for the beach. Beautiful beaches were a short drive away or you could ride one of the many bikes to the Owner's Beach Club.

Amazing Place

This is one of the best vacation rentals I've ever stayed in. The house is really spacious, perfect for a large group. It has lovely decor, comfortable seating, and a wonderful Lanai. The kitchen had everything you could need. The property and neighborhood were beautifully maintained. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and they could ride bikes safely around the neighborhood. There is tons of beach equipment to use as well! Access to the Private beach club was fantastic.

A little expensive

It was a nice house but a bit expansive and the pool always had a hose in it for cleaning so we rarely went in. When we needed a door fixed, towels and washcloths we were not even prioritized just forgotten. Too bad there weren’t as eager to help when we needed them as they were to get us out.

High-school graduation celebration

The property was amazing. It accommodated all 12 of us perfectly! This trip to big island was by far one of our best trips ever, we had my daughter who was 9, two 17 yr Olds, and 9 adults. The house is huge, No one got in each other's ways, the pool was cleaned, the kids enjoyed the bikes, gym, onsite beach, and pool while the adults enjoyed the the deck upstairs, in which we spent many evening bbqing, playing cards, and enjoying adult drinks. The only down fall (which was taken care immediately) there were only 4 wash cloths originally for a party of 12 and one propane tank was missing. Please be advised the parking in the drive way is very short and very narrow, but do not let these small discrepancies turn you away from this amazing home.

Nice house, but needs maintenance

Check in was easy, and directions were very clear. When we first got in, we noticed that the lovely dark floors were covered in dust/dirt, and our bare feet all quickly became just as dirty. The pool alarms on the three lower level doors, were not easy to use, and the second bedroom one was disconnected/not working from the moment we got there. That door was also surrounded by masking tape on the outside, and looked like it was in need of serious repair. The master closet floor was coming apart, and both myself and my toddler got our toes stuck in it. Three of us also got glass in our feet from the pool area rug, I assume from a broken glass from the previous occupants. The second day while we were gone, the two golf carts were removed from the garage. I called the management company to find out what happened, and they didn’t know, but assured me they’d find out and call back. Never happened. Still don’t know why someone came in while we were occupying the home, and don’t know if they were supposed to. We had 8 adults, 2 pre teens and a toddler and baby, and despite each person being on the reservation and renting the home for a week, there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper in each of the three bathrooms. You’d think we wouldn’t have to purchase our own at the rates we paid. Under all the beds was incredibly dirty, and the house needs multiple fixes throughout. The backyard gate was also open, and people could walk in at will. The pool man was scheduled to come Fridays (in our welcome packet), but was also there on Monday (a holiday) without any warning. Luckily we had closed the blinds in the bedrooms which open up to the pool area, but it was alarming to see someone back there we weren’t expecting. Not sure if the owners have been there in awhile, or it’s just cleaned and then rented. It looks lovely from far away, but needs some improvement to details to be brought up to standard to reflect the price.

Multigenerational family trip

Beautiful, well maintained & fully equipped house as described. The pool & hot tub were great after a long day of snorkeling, hiking & exploring the big island. The drawbacks were minor but worth mentioning: the water system in the house made a very high pitched noise with every flushing of the toilet & turning on of a faucet, which was quite annoying in the middle of the night; the oven did not work without a chair wedged up against it-this was reported to the property manager & someone came to look at it but it would be a while before it was fixed, & we heard nothing from the owner in regards to this problem. If you don’t care about cooking while here, no big deal, but we used the kitchen several times a day & thus the oven was an issue. We also had to buy toilet paper & it’s like they forgot to stock the house?? There was, at most, 2 rolls in each bathroom which for a house that sleeps 16 people is just silly. The house had plenty of everything else, like paper towels, bathroom toiletries, garbage bags, laundry detergent, dish & hand soap. There were also plenty of beach towels & bath towels for our group of 10. Mauni Lani is a beautiful resort area & very convenient with a great grocery store within a couple minutes of the house. Also within the resort area is 49 black sand beach & the Mauni Lani resort beach, both with great snorkeling. Again, all in all, we loved this place & would stay in this house / resort again!!

Great house in a great location

The house was as described and perfect for our group. The rental property company was very responsive both before and during our stay. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, same for the pool and beach gear. Our only complaint was that it seemed like the cushions on the furniture and the rugs needed a deep clean. Besides that the house was great.

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful stay at Muana Lani. This home is really special. We all loved the way the living area opened up into the Lanai. Fun to watch the golfers play through. We also enjoyed the Surrey Bike, but it is really hard to peddle! Didn’t expect that. The home is well appointed with things you will need. So many bicycles, beach chairs, towels and toys. Saltwater pool was small but very nice! We were a bit overwhelmed with the rules and the number of times we were provided with them, but overall a very nice stay! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beautiful and relaxing home

Phenomenal house

This house was the best rental property we have ever experienced. It was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Super comfortable. It had more than enough kitchen supplies to support 8 adults. Loved bicycling to grocery store and Mauna Lani beach resort. Great location. All 8 of us absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return to the Big Island and hope to stay in this house.

Gorgeous, comfortable, spacious

I’ve stayed at dozens of Kohala Coast condos over the years and this one was absolutely the best. The private pool (heated!) and hot tub is rare in the area and they were awesome. The kitchen has every thing you could possibly want, from a wine fridge to an air fryer. The garage is stocked with awesome bikes, beach equipment, and other goodies. There were baskets of big beach towels in the hallway and bedrooms. The view was magnificent at sunset, and unexpectedly even came with a distant ocean view. The property is beautifully furnished with unusually comfortable yet elegant furniture, and nice art. It made for the absolutely perfect stay for our family that included my young adult children and toddler grandson (who adored the pool). The door alarms to the pool made us feel very safe having the toddler there, and while they can be a bit annoying at first, once you figure them out, it’s no problem. Will definitely stay again!

Even better than the pictures!

This home far exceeded our expectations! We typically stay at either the Fairmont or Mauna Lani, (which are both a walk/bike ride away) so I was a little nervous that we would miss that luxury/vacation feeling by staying in a home. Let me tell you, that wasn’t the case. The house is even more gorgeous in person and was impeccably clean and decorated. The reason we opted for a house this time was because we had invited my husband’s brother and his family to join us. Between us we had 6 kids ranging from 2-13 and everyone had more than enough space. We were down in the master and it was almost like we were in our own hotel room. I was a littler nervous that the older kids running in and out from the pool would mean I would have to constantly be on high alert with my two year old possibly getting out, but the alarms on the door made it impossible for him to slip out on his own. Most of the time he loved watching the kids swim from the balcony, which was great! The kitchen is so well equipped, that it had even more things than my own kitchen at home! Blenders (yes, plural!), serve ware, kid cups...you name it! They have the essentials like basic spices and olive oil but you will need your own sugar, flour, soy sauce, etc. We hit up Costco straight after we landed and it worked great! They had enough bikes for all of us and even accommodated our request for one of the bikes to have training wheels. We rented a baby bike trailer from them and when it had a flat tire, they were quick and helpful to rectify the situation. The view out the balcony is awesome because all you see is golf course and you can even see the ocean far off in the distance. The location of this house in particular is great because it is tucked back right by a little round about that almost makes it feel like the end of a culdesac. I’m not sure I will ever want to stay anywhere else now! Thank you!!

Amazing property and facilities

Perfect home for a family gathering of 12. Home was clean and very comfortable. Many opportunities to explore surrounding areas. Property manager’s communication was prompt and professional. A definite property to return to on our next family gathering on the Big Island.

Amazing

Property is very spacious, own private pool and hot tub was amazing. They had security alarms on the doors downstairs to get to the pool that would go off if the door was left open too long. So we’d have to rush through to then close the door before the alarm went off which was annoying at times. However the villa was still very beautiful and had almost everything we needed to be comfortable. The owners do a great job in making sure the villas had everything needed to cook or have a fun beach day.

Perfect for Family Gathering

Everyone---Grandma, Grandpa, adult offspring, young kids (22 months to 10 years)--had a great time here. House was beautifully equipped, nicely decorated, well-sited. Pool was fantastic for kiddies, extra beach accessories were fantastic, and kitchen passed the Gourmet Cook test. All in all, wonderful!
