You're going to enjoy your stay at Coco's Beach Cottage! This charming beach home features a private swimming pool and much more. The three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath house is just steps away from the beautiful Vilano Beach, with the Intracoastal Waterway only a short walk away.

The house spans two levels and accommodates up to eight guests. It includes two king beds, one queen bed, and a sleeper sofa. The primary bathroom has a walk-in shower and a relaxing bathtub, while the guest bathroom features a tub-shower combination. Every bedroom is equipped with a TV for your entertainment! The fully equipped kitchen includes a dining area and a breakfast bar, and complimentary wireless internet is available during your stay.

Coco's Beach Cottage is pet-friendly and is designed to make you feel at home during your vacation. Amenities include bed and bath linens, hardwood floors, lovely dƩcor, a large flat-panel HDTV, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, and more.

Just 100 steps from the beach via an easy-access path on one side and only a five-minute walk to the Intracoastal Waterway on the other, this area of Vilano/North Beach is known for surfing, paddleboarding, fishing, shark tooth hunting, and more. You can walk, bike, or drive to many great restaurants just minutes away. Our comfortable home is a 10-minute drive from the lively and historic town of St. Augustine! The Vilano Beach pier is just a three-minute drive (or a 40-minute walk along the beach), where youā€™ll find a Publix grocery store and a mini outdoor mall. Nearby, youā€™ll also discover a local post office, a bait and gear store, a boat rental facility, a gas dock, a local pub, and several restaurants along the Intracoastal. You can reach the PGA Tourā€™s TPC Sawgrass in just 20 minutes, and itā€™s a two-hour drive to Walt Disney World.

Vilano Beach, located on Veterans Island in St. Augustine, is closer to the historic district than any other beach in the cityā€”only 10 minutes from historical sites and the antique district. Spend your mornings relaxing on the beach and your afternoons exploring St. George Street in downtown St. Augustine.

For an additional $200/week or less, the pool may be heated to a maximum of 84 degrees. The pool heater must be added to your reservation 48 hours before arrival. Please note that we do not offer this service from Memorial Day through September.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family and pets. The location was so close to the beach - just steps away. And, we were a short drive to downtown. We could be there in just a few minutes. The property manager was so easy to work with and gave us a great recommendation for buying fresh local seafood. Canā€™t wait to visit again!

The decription of the home was accurately defined. It was close to the beach- walking distance! The kiddos loved the pool- you can ask for it to be heated for a fee(we did this- and were happy we did). Great location to get to St. Augustine. Marty communicated quickly when needed. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Spring Break

Spent the week in St. Augustine for Spring Break with our family. House was convenient and a quick walk to the beach. I did not realize the Master was upstairs so be ready to climb up with all of your luggage! The beds were very comfortable. The living room furniture is not the greatest and it is packed into a tiny living room where you cannot fully open the doors to the back porch. Would be better if they consolidated the furniture and set it up differently to allow a better flow of traffic. The kitchen was fine. Donā€™t plan to cook a big meal as pots and pans were very old. Knives were so dull we could not sure bread and the baking sheets were very old and gross. All in all it met our needs but not the mostLuxurious!

We loved it!

We had an amazing stay at this property. The location was perfect as we were able to walk to Caps, Aunt Kateā€™s, and the Reef. Most importantly, this property was perfect for my dog. He was so comfortable here with the fenced in backyard, carpeted floors, and spacious living area. Would definitely book again.

Perfect location

The location is ideal; super short walk to the beach. The surrounding neighborhood is great for walking/biking. Publix is very close, maybe a mile away. The Reef restaurant is also nearby and the food is excellent! Vilano Beach is the perfect distance from Saint Augustine. I highly recommend this stay!

Family Vacation 2023

The only thing we didnā€™t realize before booking was that all three bedrooms are upstairs. It wasnā€™t a big deal, we were just thinking one bedroom was downstairs. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool the most! This was the first time that me, my kids, and grandkids all stayed in the same house together, and it was so much fun! It was also the first time staying on Vilano Beach instead of St. Augustine Beach and we enjoyed it so much weā€™re thinking about going back next year! Thank you for allowing us to rent CoCoā€™s Beach Cottage for the week!

Beach house minus the beach accessories

This beach house had no beach towels, no beach umbrella or tent, one broken beach chair and 3 ancient, disgusting chairs. Ants covered the walkway and lawn(don't know if these were fire ants or not). House can sleep 10, we were 6, And had to wash towels on a daily basis just for bathing. They certainly was not enough to use as beach towels. There was no plastic glassware to use by the pool Tha extra sheets were scatchy and as hard as cardboard. Overall we had a decent time but would have had a much better experience if it had the proper amenities you'd expect a beach house to have.

Our family had a great stay over spring break. Location is great with short walk to beach. Pool was a hit with our grandkids. A few small improvements would make it even better - more silverwear, some new nonstick pans and a smart TV in the living room.

Pros and cons

Check in process was easy, the layout of the home is good for the privacy upstairs and kitchen downstairs. We visited over Spring Break and the space needed major cleaning. Grass needed mowed, pool was Sandy and had stuff in it, tons of trash out front, and pillows were unusable. The pool is tiny w no hangout space out back. The place including the windows needs a good pressure wash. We were happy to snag a place last minute at the beach but definitely overpaid for this. Someone needs to take a week off renting it and get it back in rental shape for that kind of money.

I really didnā€™t see anything extra for the ā€˜VRBO experienceā€™ There was no welcome basket or notebook with information about the tv remotes and/or restaurants and activities. The 50 steps to beach was a little bit deceptive. We were disappointed the pool was full of leaves.

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Coco's Beach Cottage. Very close to the beach and short drive to historic St. Augustine. Communications with the owner were very good!

Grandmother/granddaughter celebrating a dual birthday

This property was perfect for my family! The property was beautiful, and located right across the street from the beach. The neighbors were so welcoming, helpful with directions and suggestions for entertainment and dining, and their fur babies were adorable as well. I would definitely stay there again. This area of the beach seemed more private making it clean and relaxing.

My husband and I spent the week at Cocoā€™s Beach Cottage with my brother and his wife, and it was perfect! Everything was just right! The pool is small, but so nice! The management was responsive to our (minor) problem and solved it immediately. We would highly recommend this house. The beach is beautiful and scarcely populated. The location is nice because itā€™s quiet, but close to St. Augustine.
