Step into a beautifully and tastefully remodeled beach cottage with original wooden floors, lovely mid century details, solid Carerra marble bathroom, and redwood deck. Open living space with dual sliders to redwood deck, one full bedroom with one convertible dining room open to kitchen that sleeps additional 2 people, and sleeper bed in living room along with couches for plenty of comfort and entertaining potential. We like to think of ourselves as a authentic historic cabin. If you want total luxury and bling this likely isn’t for you, but if you want an authentic original cottage with 100 year charm and rustic features like original plank flooring, and lots of character we think you’ll like what we have for you. This was a charming little house so close to everything in Bodega Bay and our family enjoyed our two nights there very much! Nice and quiet neighborhood and sweet little place!

Great Location in Bodega Bay

Wonderful place to explore Bodega Bay, Point Reyes, Jenner and points north on the pacific coast. House is as described, with good kitchen and comfortrable bed. Location is GREAT for exploring the California Coast. Wonderful stay!!

Great stay!

A beautiful cottage that was just perfect for our stay! Stephen was a lovely host and so helpful with local tips etc. The house was in a perfect central location and also just enough off the main road to be super quiet all the time. Everything inside was great and we would happily stay again. Thank you!

Charming and Cozy

The wood fireplace at night was magical! And the location was convenient to hiking and beach access. Stephen was a most responsive and considerate host. Within walking distance to a cute coffee shop and cafe. Definitely will be back for another Bodega Bay adventure!

Awesome family trip!

The property was in a perfect location, close to the coast and the outdoors. The property owner was very kind and helpful, and the house was exactly as described. Check in was contact-free, linens and cooking utensils were provided, and they have a great grill for cooking seafood. We look forward to coming back and staying again in the future!

A Bodega Bay gem!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Blowdega. It is like walking back in time to such a cute little bay cottage. Steve was excellent to communicate with and left us a great bottle of wine. The bed is comfy, kitchen is well stocked and the neighborhood is full of history. We will definitely stay again!

Great little cottage

Wonderful little cottage, with actually a lot of room! The bed was very comfortable, kitchen tiny but quite adequate, sunny porch was lovely and lots of sitting areas. It is walking distance from a lot of Bodega Bay destinations. Stephan was a wonderful host. I highly recommend this cottage!!! Also Gourmet Au Bay is a terrific wine bar with a limited but excellent menu.

Family Wedding Weekend

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here! It was just what we needed for the weekend! Everything you could need was provided. Stephen is a great host and we enjoyed meeting him and talking with him about the history of the cottage. I would recommend staying here to.family and friends! Weekend getaway

Stephen was great to work with. The home was clean, cozy and in a great location. My wife and 3 children really felt comfortable when we were in the house. With a family of 5 there was just enough space to spread out during the time we were actually in the house. At night, my wife and I slept in the bedroom and each child got a couch. We just brought Sleeping bags for the kids . The place had a nice touch of old decor and modern updates. We will definitely stay there again and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Bodega Bay. sleeping bags

Wonderful Bodega Bay cottage

This is our 6th or 7th stay in Bodega Bay, and our first in this cottage. It's far more than advertised. Steve has updated and upgraded the kitchen floors, appliances and bathroom. It is spacious for 2 people, with easy town access. Steve is a very engaging host. We will definitely try to stay here on our next visit.

Charming cottage

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time exploring Bodega Bay. The house has old charm with a real fire burning fireplace and cute decor. The landscaping outside is charming and inviting; deck was set up perfectly to enjoy morning coffee. Stephen was a great host and very responsive, even when we had to call him when we got lost due to operator error inputting address into GPS;). Thank you for hosting Stephen!

The Perfect Place

My son and I were looking for a close, convenient place to stay while we fished Bodega Bay and beyond. We found it here. The owner was exceptional, with frequent communication ... He even provided us with a great history of the property and neighborhood. We really felt like we were part of the community vs. other places I have stayed in the area. Highly recommended!
