Bayside Retreat är en mysig duplex med 1 sovrum perfekt för ett par eller föräldrar med ett eller två små barn. Sovrummet har ett queen-size minneskum och det finns fällbara sovmattor för barnen. Det finns ett kombinerat vardagsrum / kök fullt utrustat med DIRECTV (med HBO, SHOWTIME, CINEMAX, STARZ, etc.) på båda TV: n. Åh, och du kommer att märka massor av ursprungliga olje- och akvarellmålningar på väggarna gjorda av ägaren och vänner (de är till salu ...).

Cozy and clean, with good kitchenette setup and living area separate from bedroom. Fenced yard area was a secure place for our dog to take care of his "business". Our hostess was very welcoming to us.

This is my second time staying here. It is a great location. Close to the ocean and many restaurants. I brought my dogs and Pam, the owner, shared some good trails for walking the dogs. I like that the house has a fenced in yard for the dogs. The bungalow is perfect for a couple or single person. It has a comfortable bed, very clean, a small kitchen but has everything you need. I will be coming back again. Thanks for the relaxing stay!

It is a perfect place for someone or a couple especially if you’re traveling with pets! I was with my dog & it has a private fenced yard so my dog could go outside and enjoy! The kitchen is very nice for small space and the owner and her dog are the best! Would stay again and again!

Great Location...with an amazing Host

Check in was so great - wonderful to actually have the owner there helping and answering questions. Pamela is a very friendly, helpful person who is a very committed to her guests having a great experience. Who you rent from matters...you will be happy you chose this location and this owner. :)

Bodega Bay get away

Our experience with Pamela and her cozy cottage was exceptional from start to finish. She met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the cottage and all the little hints to make our stay easy. She had a doggy food area and treats for our dog! She responded to questions quickly, but gave us our own space without intruding. She was a fantastic hostess!

Comfortable place to stay

Pamela is a wonderful host! She is very responsive, helpful, and available to answer any questions. It's clear that she really wants her guests to have a great time.The bungalow is small but comfortable and has everything guests might need. Although there are stores and eateries in walking distance, the roads are not pedestrian-friendly, so a car is necessary for Bodega Bay area.

A wonderful, dog-friendly place with central location!

We had such a wonderful stay! Pamela is an excellent host and her property is a super convenient location. Since there’s so much to drive to in or around Bodega Bay, we wanted a place with easy parking and a laid-back neighborhood free of traffic with a central location… and this place was it! Pamela was there to greet us when we arrived, and she gave us a tour of the property as well as some great recommendations. She was so communicative from start to finish and I felt very comfortable talking to her over text and in person. Since we brought our dog, we referenced her map of off-leash, on-leash and not dog friendly beaches quite a bit and Rosie loved the complimentary dog treatos. My boyfriend and I very much enjoyed the complimentary salt water taffy treatos for humans, too :) We spent our mornings and afternoons out exploring, evenings in, and cooked breakfast “at home.” This property was accommodating for all of it! The kitchen was the perfect size and having a stove was great. The dishwasher looked brand new but we chose to hand wash our few dishes. My piece of advice is if you’re planning on staying here (you should!!), bring slippers or socks for the morning because the tile gets cold. My boyfriend’s piece of advice is bring a FireStick or Roku or something if you’re like him and don’t like to watch “real” TV, only TV from smart apps. Lol. Thank you Pamela and Stella for a great birthday vacation!! We can’t wait to come back.

Super dog friendly

This was the perfect little place for my husband, me and our dog Hank. Pamela is such a nice a gracious host! We had eveything and more that was needed for Hank and ourselves. Conveniently located to the bay, marina, ocean and town. We are already planning our next stay.

Conveniently Located

Pamela greeted us and gave us the keys. If we had questions, she was very quick to respond. The home had everything we needed for a great get-away. Great beaches, hiking trails and great restaurants within a short distance. We will be back. The home is dog friendly and Otis loved his treats! Thank you, Pamela, for making everything so easy to get away.

It was advertised as an ocean view, which it is not.

Somewhat cramped, but ok. The thing is, it was advertised with an ocean view, which was what we were after -- 4 or 5 days of relaxation, reading and writing, looking at the sea. It's nothing like this. We left after 2 days, though we paid for 5 or maybe more. Pamela admitted we were right about the misunderstanding (the symbol for ocean view) and promised us a small refund, which we never received.

We are native Californians who migrated from San Francisco to Sonoma County in the 60's.

Varför värden valde detta boende

It has always been a dream of ours to have a home on the coast (there's only so much property on the coast and there won't be any more added, so....). We wanted a home close to the water that we could live in when we retire; but until that time, we are happy to share it with other water lovers!

Steps from the bay, accessible fishing charters, kayak and horse rentals, hiking trails, and walking distance to 8 local restaurants and eateries. ALL that--and the sound of the foghorn and seals barking--makes the Bayside Bungalow the perfect place for weekend get-away. It's just a great, dog-friendly, cozy place to eat great food, drink great wine, and relax...relax...relax!
