RENOVATED 10/21! Corner Oceanview Condo w/ AC!!

Our recently remodeled 1 bed, 1 bath home is located on the second floor, so you’ll enjoy more privacy in your home-away-from-home. Being in the corner also gives us breath-taking views of the Pacific Ocean. During whale season, you’ll also see whales breaching from the lanai!

Our home has been completely remodeled as of 10/2021. Enjoy a modern home with Hawaiian flare as you melt the days away in paradise. The fully-equipped kitchen shines with quartz countertops and new stainless steel appliances. Traveling with other guests? The queen sleeper sofa and dual-sink marble vanity in the bathroom is perfect for sharing.

Enjoy the island sun but ready to cool down? Our home also has AC to keep you chill during your stay.*

Pono Kai Resort’s luscious 12-acre landscaping is picture-perfect with meticulously manicured grounds and koi pond. Do you enjoy lounging on the lanai, but would like other activities as well? The resort offers plenty of amenities including shuffleboard, tennis courts, swimming pools, BBQ grills and more! Be prepared to relax in paradise while also having access to a variety of activities right outside your door.

Pono Kai Resort is also located right on the walking/bike path, Ke Ala Hele Makalae (“The Path that Goes by the Cost”). The trail leads from Nawiliwili to Anahola. You’ll find eclectic shops and wonderful eateries along this path – within walking distance from the resort!

Sea view and all you need for your stay

We were happy with the condo - it was clean and had a great view. Kitchen had all equipment needed for cooking. Aircondition works well for the living room, but the bedroom had only a fan - but it worked fairly well anyway. Perfect for a couple or a small family. Would stay there again another time.

This unit was absolutely lovely. I’m familiar with Pono Kai, so I appreciated that part, but Stephanie and Steven have done a stellar job renovating this unit to make it bright and cheerful — and making sure their guests would be comfortable and have things they’d need (beach toys, chairs, umbrella, etc).

Excellent location, condo well renovated and clean. It Was our second Year in a row Staying in thé same unit.The only thing is our top neighbourg were hard walking on our head. Could be difficult to fixed.

Great location with a beautiful view!

This is our second time staying here. The location is great - centrally located between the north and south sides allowing for easy drives to all activities. The view from the property is beautiful and the beach is just steps away! The hosts were communicative and prompt with responses.

Best View!!!

My 3rs visit to island and while Kauai may have some larger resorts, this place was a total steal, especially for the breathtaking oceanfront view. Waking up to that view every morning was truly a highlight of the trip – it was absolutely gorgeous!The location is also fantastic. It's just a 15-minute drive from the airport, so getting there was super convenient. Plus, all the best restaurants and shopping spots are within walking distance, making it really easy to explore the area.Overall, I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a perfect balance of stunning views, a prime location, and great value. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Best way to do oceanfront in Kauai!

We loved staying at Pono Kai
the oceanfront condo gave us endless soothing wave sounds and daily amazing sunrises
the grounds are gorgeous and the condo had absolutely everything we could need. We cooked several meals and had all we needed
even an amazing blender to make smoothies from our leftover fruit before we left!We highly recommend d this property and thank the owners for being so responsive

Our dream vacation became a reality!

We spent 8 wonderful days on Kauai in this beautiful condo and absolutely loved it! The view from the lanai is incredible and the sunrises each morning were stunning! It was a great place and truly a home away from home. The condo is centrally located with many great places to walk to, as well as a great path along the ocean that we walked on each day. Stephanie was great with communication and addressed a small issue immediately when contacted. It’s easy to see why this place is so highly rated! Mahalo for an unforgettable dream vacation! Spectacular condo!

We felt like "VIPs" as my granddaughter said. It is fresh & beautiful with a beachy vibe and spectacular views of the ocean. This was our second trip to Kauai, but the absolute best time because we were so comfortable in our home away from home! Kapaa is a perfect location & we went all over the island easily. Wonderful!

The owners had great communication. The condo matched the photos perfectly. The resort itself was very nice, everyone was helpful and considerate. Plenty of activities to do. Highly recommended. We're going to stay here again if we come back to the east coast of Kauai.

Our love for Hawaii has always been something Steven and I have shared. We both grew up enjoying all of the sites, flavors and culture of Hawaii with our families, and now that we have a family of our own, we wanted to share our love of the Aloha spirit with our daughter and baby on-the-way. We can’t wait to watch them fall in love with the islands as much as we have.
