Excellent location

Property is exactly as pictured. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed. Love the location, near the train station and the Duomo. Market right next door and restaurants nearby. Central Marker 5 minute walk. Manager very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was pretty much as described. It was nice, clean and spacious. The lighting in the main room was not the greatest, only a ceiling chandelier that did not have enough bulbs or something, so very dim. I did appreciate that the owner stocked the refrigerator with food for us: eggs, bread, bacon, etc. That was unexpected and helpful. Our biggest complaint with this Vrbo was the check-in process. It was a complete disaster! The owner did not send instructions prior to our arrival with check-in instructions. He (Pier Luigi Pisani) had sent me a message via my Vrbo account earlier in the week requiring me to pay the city tax and give him phone numbers to contact me via WhatsApp, which I immediately did. Then I never heard from him again. We arrived with no information and no way to get into the apartment. Finally, after trying to contact Vrbo or the owner several times, some local manager called me on WhatsApp. He acted like I didn't do what I was supposed to. We finally got in, but it was extremely frustrating. Very unprofessional.

This apartment is as advertised--beautiful, modern. Great location. Easy to access, close to so many sites, including a terrific restaurant and coffee stop nearby (Bisteca). We enjoyed the space to rest and talk, plus a nice kitchen. Nothing but praise here.

Great place and value!

Perfect 1 BR apartment near the train, Duomo and everything else. Fabulous restaurant Osteria del Giglio on the corner (make a reservation). Luigi, the host manager, is very responsive to texts on What’s App. We will stay here again.

Great location near the train station and within walking distance of everything in Central City. Wonderful accommodations, appointments and comfort from our host! Great shower , washer/dryer and access to all amenities. We highly recommend!

Lovely apartment in great location. Claudio was a great help getting us settled after finding us a bit off course on our way. Property was clean, attractive and convenient (nice restaurant right across the street) and easy walking distance to major attractions. Would stay there again!

Perfect spot to tour Florence for couples

This lovely apartment was an added bonus for our first trip to Florence. Clean and comfortable apartment in a beautiful building on a side street between the train and the sites - perfect! Kitchenette was well equipped and perfect to use for a quick breakfast on our way to the train, bed is comfortable. The location was great for both seeing the sites of Florence and taking day trips by train - everything in walking distance. Check-in was easy - they touched base with us a couple of days before the trip and were immediately responsive the day of, ensuring an easy arrival. Hope to return again!

Nice apartment, but....

The apartment was nice, the son of the owner who checked us in was very nice and helpful. When specifically asked, he told us check out time was 11:00. Both my husband and I were there for this discussion. At 10:00 the owner was already there, ringing the bell and telling us it was time to get out. The shower wouldn't drain, so my husband couldn't take a shower. I never even got to get ready for the day. We packed up as soon as we could to get out (which was less than 30 minutes) but the owner was very angry and accused us of lying that we knew check out time was at 10:00 and blamed us for blocking the drain. Hate to tell her that no one would ever choose to start the day off like that willingly. I understand that she needed us out as soon as possible but she was not a nice person and we would never stay there again. We will probably never stay at a VRBO again either after this experience.

This apartment was amazing and charming. It has a lot of high end features and extras that make you feel like you are staying in a 5 star hotel. We absolutely loved our stay here. It is also very close to all of the sites we wanted to see.

Excellent apartment in Florence Italy

This place was perfect! Check in was easy- Claudio met us at property and explained how to use everything in apartment. They thought of everything you may need and provided. Walking distance to all area attractions! We were fortunate to find this place and would stay again on our next visit.

Perfecto location

Great location within walking distance of museums, historic sights and restaurants. Convenient to train station and short distance from Medici Chapel. Beautiful furnishings, while not comfortable we’re appreciated. Limited kitchen counter space yet functional. Any shortcomings in terms of of decor comfort, offset by location. Would recommend

Stunning apartment in a great central location!

This spotless apartment is in a beautiful and charming building, with very high ceilings and modern amenities. The location is perfect, an easy walk from the train station, and also easily walkable to the Duomo, Uffizi, Accademia, and Ponte Vecchio. Supermarket is conveniently next door. Highly recommended place to stay in Florence!

Excellent Location

We loved this apartment and would definitely stay again. The location was perfect including being very close to train station and airport tram stop. Check-in was easy and the couple of times we had to communicate during the visit were quickly responded to and handled.

Disappointing

A day before our arrival we where notified that the Washer/Dryer was broken. The person suggested we could go to a laundry place to do our laundry. That was not a solution for us, we didn't come to Florence to find a laundry place. They kept saying it is not their fault, which I agreed but it is their responsibility. I requested a credit of $50 which I did receive. The AC unit in the main room shut off 5 times in the first day. You had to go to the electrical panel each time to restart. Between these two issues and the apartment being much smaller in person than in the photographs shown we left a day earlier than planned. So they got paid 2 days for only 1 night stay. No compensation was offered for the early departure. Lastly the people I met in person and over the WhatsApp texting where kind of confrontational.

Beautiful apartment close to major attractions

A great find. Close to the Santa Maria Novella train station, Duomo, museums, great shopping and restaurants. The apartment is very comfortable and has many amenities. Communicate with the staff was very responsive. Another plus was being next door to a grocery store. Grazie mille to Sandy and Victoria for you assistance and a wonderful stay.

Wonderful Property!

The beautifully appointed apartment was perfect for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need, including a coffee maker with pods. The host also got us started with milk, oj, Prosecco and bacon, eggs and bread. The location is perfect - close to everything and the hosts are very responsive to any questions. Definitely would recommend if staying in Florence!

Great trip to Florence

My husband and I were pleased with the visit to your apartment. The breakfast items provided by you were much appreciated. It was great that you provided a user manual (with English translation) for the apartment. We had a minor problem with a slow draining shower that was addressed and fixed by Sandy and a nice gentleman within 45 minutes. From check-in to check-out, you made our stay enjoyable! Grazie!

Medici Chapel 2 minutes away

This property is centrally located to most tourist destinations, i.e., museums, basilicas, restaurants, etc. The Medici Chapel is a two minute walk from the front door. The Central Market is a five minute walk as is the Duomo. There are five restaurants within a two minute walk and eight within five minutes. Also convenient was the modest grocery store next door. As with any city location, there is street noise and we advise visitors to bring ear plugs. The coffee machine worked well (coffee pods were included) and more pods could be purchased at the grocery store next door. Be aware that it doesn't have an automatic shutoff. For those who choose to cook some of their own meals, the kitchen was well supplied with quality cookware, cutlery and china.
