Seaview on Burton: Detta hem i Tudor-stil ligger ovanför en Monterey tallskog som sveper en halv mil ner till havet, ett av de fÄ fritidshusen i omrÄdet som grÀnsar till en skogskonserver. Den pittoreska byn Cambria ligger en lugn fem minuters bilresa frÄn fastigheten.

Du Àr inom nÄgra sekunder frÄn natursköna vandringsleder genom tallskogade jordgubbskanon, 'som ligger direkt bakom fastigheten. Stranden Àr en enkel 15-minuters promenad genom skogen och lÀngs lugna bostadsgator. Du kan plocka genom tidvattenbassÀngerna i den nÀrliggande Lampton Cliffs-parken, eller promenera lÀngs promenadstrÀckan eller pÄ miles av skogs- och marina terrassvÀgar i den fantastiskt vackra offentliga Fiscalini Ranch Preserve.

Excellent

The neighborhood and surroundings were beautiful. The house is gorgeous and well kept. James was extremely attentive, and made sure our stay was comfortable. We had and exceptional weekend. Seaview on Burton is everything we imagined and more to meet our needs. Thanks James for your hospitality.

Great place in a great location

Great house, nicely appointed. Location was fabulous for walking and cycling - easy to walk through the trees to the water and enjoy all the nice close-by hiking in Cambria. The owner was great at communication and the property had two king sized beds - which is great for two couples and very hard to find.The non ensuite bathroom was a little dated and dark - not a showstopper for us - but a little room for improvement. We would happily return.

A little disappointing

We were really looking forward to our stay and we were all a little underwhelmed. The house was decent, but showed it's age. There were cobwebs throughout the house and the towels smelled "musty". The place felt like it could do with a lick of paint. The deck furniture was not very nice (worn wood) and the area in the backyard appeared messy and unkept. There were a few minor issues regarding the wifi and washing machine which the owner responded to very promptly.

Wonderful holiday stay.

The entire area and experience was wonderful. The host was very communicative and helpful. Will be booking again the next time we are in the area. Great area and place for all kinds of groups.

Quiet, spacious with an amazing view!

Six high school girlfriends on an annual weekend away. This house was perfect for our needs. Bedrooms are spacious, with the main bedroom having a deck with amazing views. Main floor with another deck and BBQ.dining room was the right size

Wonderful property and town

Cambria CA is a great little holiday town - shopping, eating, proximity to wine country and Ocean. We enjoyed the house as the view from the deck was tremendous, lawn chairs at sunset, grilling out. Plenty of room for the four of us, stocked kitchen

Cambria visit

A wonderful location close to downtown Cambria as well as Morro Bay. Tucked away in the hills, you can view the ocean at the property and have options for walks. The house was very comfortable for 5 adults-will stay here again if we visit the central coast.

Idyllic secluded place.

We had a wonderful stay here. So peaceful and relaxing. Some may prefer being closer to the beach but for us, being in such a secluded, natural forested space was quite heavenly. The house is comfortable and a real haven at the end of a day.

House is in a very beautiful and quiet location in the woods, just as described. It was comfortable for 5 adults and beds were comfortable. Wildlife (birds, squirrels, and deer), ocean view, and star gazing kept us happy!

Relaxing Adventure

The property was beautiful, instructions for light fireplace, doors, and kitchen were clearly printed and laid on the dining table. I would rent here again.

We enjoyed our time here. The house was very clean, the kitchen very well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils and appliances. We did miss not having a TV in the living room but that is our personal preference.

As writer and documentary filmmaker working in many areas of California, I moved with my family from Los Angeles to this spectacular part of the Central Coast in 1988, both as an inspirational retreat and a place with easy access to other areas of the Golden State.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We love back country hiking and mountain biking, particular in Big Sur, for which Cambria is the southern gateway, as well as kayaking in San Simeon Cove. The area is also rich in history, which is my area of expertise as a writer/producer, so that made it an equally good fit. Cultural and environmental attractions include Hearst Castle and the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. I work with both of these organizations on interpretive media projects.

My hope is that guests coming to this special house bordering the forest and the ocean will leave feeling refreshed and inspired.
