The condo was great, for the most part. Good location by the ocean and bay, boardwalk, shops, food, and it was tidy, and cozy. Iâm rating it only 3 stars because, on our 3rd day there, a 9-month construction project (Sept â25-Mayâ26) started right in front of the condo building in the parking lot. Not only did the completely block off the parking lot, but there were loaders drilling and jack-hammering asphalt nearly all day for 3 of the days we stayed there. It was incredibly loud and disruptive and we were not able to relax in the room during construction hours (Approx 7:30a-3p). If we had been told about the construction we may not have booked, and if we had known how disruptive it would be, we wouldnât have booked. Also, the parking spot was described as smallâbut itâs not just small, itâs nearly impossible to get in and out of it if there are cars on both sides of you because their spots are small too and the alley is small. We felt âstuckâ multiple times. And since there was construction happening in the parking lot in the front of the building, it was not possible to park there. There is a public parking lot for the beach near the front of the building, but itâs not convenient to access with the construction going on and there are signs posted that it doesnât allow overnight parking. In the end, our stay would have been better without the parking lot construction and issue with the parking spot.
