Excellent Location and perfect stay

Such a great place! A block off the beach and a block from the Balboa pier. Great proximity to Disneyland as well. We will definitely book again next time we visit Southern California. Thank you!!

We had a great experience. The location was wonderful for our family. Just a few steps to the beach! The family-friendly unit was very comfortable, clean and freshly updated. The kitchen was well appointed and included everything we needed during our stay. The bedrooms were nicely furnished with comfortable beds. Our two little boys loved the bunk beds! We hope to stay in this unit again in the near future.

Location

This is a wonderful property. It’s clean and comfortable and nicely stocked and furnished. It’s 1/2 a block from the beach and walking distance to the Balboa Fun Zone and Ferry. Convenient and fun!

Great location with regards to beach and fun zone. There is also a great playground 1/4 mile down the beach. Small living room for hanging out in evenings. Neighbor smokes cigars and the smell makes its way into rental (no AC so you’ll want to keep the windows open). Bathroom doorknob was broken and our 2 1/2 year old got locked in (thankfully there was a device hanging in the hallway to use to unlock it from the outside). If there are renters upstairs it is fairly loud. We did have a nice vacation.

The refrigerator was broken, the main toilet was broken, and the garage door was broken. And, the house was filthy. The house had clearly not been vacuumed in ages. We kept stepping on old dried fruits and our feet were black constantly from walking around the house. It was SO gross. They finally sent a housekeeper to vacuum and mop so that helped. So, it was very stressful and I spent a lot of time on the phone trying to get someone there to fix those things, especially since they told me no one could fix things on the weekend (exactly when we arrived). Vicki at the main office was the only responsive person. I was very grateful for her. Location was great though.

The downstairs accommodations were very comfortable. Enough space for my 2 grandsons to play and for us to relax. Really enjoyed walking distance to beach, ferry and donut and dining places. Not walking distance for good surfing. Good place to wal l to boat parade but terrible for boat parade traffic. Not a problem of the rental. We had a great time and the rental only enhanced it.
