It was exactly what we were looking for. We rented a boat from Brian’s Marina and fished, had a nice fire one night. Relaxed.

Awesome fire pit! I wish they offered wash cloths and bat/beach towels, because they take up a space to pack. Otherwise everything else was wonderful.

Everything was great

The house was beautiful and well stocked with everything you could need for an up north stay. The property was private and serene with all neighbors a good distance away. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach but you can easily drive and park along the road. Would definitely book and stay here again!

Absolutely gorgeous location. Home is completely updated. When we walked in, we were struck by the fresh scent and cool decor. Host was welcoming via text. Highly recommend, when we come back to Houghton Lake, we will stay here again.

Our long weekend stay at Audrey’s hideaway absolutely exceeded our expectations! The Hideaway was the perfect fit for our family with the comfortable rooms, expansive screened in porch area (perfect for our rainy day!), private beach/dock access to keep our boat rental overnight, well stocked with the most thoughtful items, and nostalgic up north vibes that made us feel like we were visiting our family’s cabin on the lake from the second we walked in. Audrey’s impeccable responsiveness and hospitable nature made staying here that much more comfortable, truly one of our favorite rentals and hosts. We’d be so lucky to stay again next time we’re in the area!
