Valbrona cottage rentals

Our family of 4 had a lovely time. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the added details such as laundry soap, dish washing detergent, etc. Central A/C was fantastic- a rarity in Italy! The small, sleepy fishing town is absolutely stunning- our only struggle was the stairs. Under our circumstances (two small children and mommy who is expecting another baby soon), it was a bit of a struggle. Trips back and forth were not possible for us in the heat so we had to make sure we had everything and couldn’t really go home for a rest midday. We expected more taxis to be available, but we struggled to find one on a regular basis. Even with the stair challenge, our family was so happy to have this lovely cottage to enjoy our week in Bellagio. I should add that there is a large, gated courtyard where our children could run around freely. Thank you again!

I spent 14 days in the apartment and I felt more than welcome. I felt like in paradise. Very nice, peaceful, very clean, comfortable and elegant. I loved the details in the house and outdoor. The garden is fantastic and the view is breathtaking. I would like to thank Bihm the host in particular for all her help and kindness. I arrived on the night of New Year’s Eve and she was available to process the check in person. She really went the extra mile for me. she bought some food for the evening and the morning after, knowing that i wouldn’t be able to find any place open for the first of January. She made me feel at home ! I definitely will come back here next time I come in Brianza. The property is just 15 minutes walking distance for the train station and this make it easy to travel even without a car. The pictures are nice but they don’t pay tribute to the reality…. Much more than you can see from the pictures. Everything in the house is in perfect condition and I was happy about the internet connection too. It was important to me since I needed to connect for work during some of the days of my staying. I give 5 stars just because there are no more stars in the option… it does deserve 6 stars!

This place is such a gem! We enjoyed it so much! It was such a pleasure to stay here! From the sound of the church bells to the gorgeous views it was really spectacular!

What we loved is that Torno is not too far from Como. You will need to take the bus to get there as the torno water taxi is closed right now but to be honest, the bus is better if you have luggage. Take route to house that goes behind tobacco shop, it will be easier yo navigate. There is a wonderful restaurant not far with one of the prettiest views on the lake. The service is full waited and a wonderful experience. You will want to buy bus tickets same day to get there and another to get back to Como. Check bus schedule for times. Getting around the lake takes some planning on your part. Recommend renting a boat tour. The owner is responsive with your needs. You will need to have your own bath wash.

Fabio was extremely discrete and helpful to us during our stay. He made life easy with a detailed "instruction manual" that explained everything we needed to know to about the house, from check-in to check-out. The location is fantastic and the private parking spot is super handy. We spent many evenings on the pier just staring at the lake. Overall the garden and the pier gave you a sense of privacy and uniqueness that one can rarely find on vacation. The inside of the house was also very cozy, and the wooden structure keeps it nice and fresh. Would definitely recommend for a vacation with a partner or with a few friends! Just make sure you have a car.
