Our team had a great stay at the chalet during our business trip in Punta Del Este. The property is beautiful and large, the pool is comfortable and well maintained, and the kitchen has all kinds of appliances and settings. Getting here (especially with Uber) is a little complicated as the cross streets are the same as another set nearby but once we figured it out it's pretty simple, and it's within 5-10 min of town depending where you're going. Would definitely stay here again!

Karin was a terrific host. She was very personable and very helpful with extensive knowledge of the area, things to see and do. She became a friend while we were there. The home is wonderful. We needed a fan and she had several to offer. The house is in a great location to access markets, the beach, town and restaurants. We throughly enjoyed our visit.

Nuestra estadía en Montebello de 6 días fue una experiencia inolvidable. Un lugar único, hermoso, rodeado de vegetación hermosa, vistas hermosas, atardeceres espectaculares. El área de la piscina es hermosa. Pasamos mucho tiempo en la piscina y por supuesto en elÁrea de la parrilla que también es hermosa.Los caseros Alejandro y Magdalena , dos personas muy especiales que hicieron que hicieron que nuestra estadía fuera aún más especial. Mil gracias ! Nos vamos agradecidos y felices de haber tenido esta linda experiencia y esperamos poder volver a Montebello algún día!

The home is very comfortable and a great location between Montevideo and Punta del Este. The closest town is Piriapolis, about 7 minutes' drive and the beaches there are very nice. The beach at the home is also nice for sunbathing, but it's very rocky and not suitable for swimming. There are restaurants up and down the coast and one winery close by, Cerro Del Torro, that offers lunch and tasting. The other wineries are about 90 minutes' drive, and we explored a few of them during our stay. Our host Bruno was very friendly and responsive as well. I would highly recommend his home.

The condo was clean and the building amenties were excellent. We could walk everywhere.

My wife and I were attracted to this property by its description and positive reviews. The hosts and property were exceptional. Out of a possible 10 we give it a 12! Our arrival time was delayed by a cancelled flight, and they went out of their way to meet us and help us get settled. The setting is lovely and spacious, and every amenity was available to us. The hosts also provided very helpful information about the area, but allowed us to enjoy privacy and independence during our 14-day stay. The location is convenient to the beach by walking, and to restaurants and shopping by car. In every way it exceeded our expectations. Recommend with no hesitation.

A hundred steps from the Plata Beach, 500 steps from the ocean beach; we took a beautiful walk to the lighthouse and church, photographed sea lions and seals within arm’s reach being fed scraps at the fish stand, passing through streets with elegant shops and a variety of restaurants. Off season was very quiet. Our hostess easily and quickly communicated with us before and during our stay.

Where do I begin to describe the incredible 3 day stay in one of my favorite countries to visit in the 🌎 The dome house experience will rival any vacation accommodations you’ve ever had. Starting with the location which sets the stage for all the magic to happen: nestled in a eucalyptus grove that whisper in the ocean breeze day and night while parrots, doves and oven birds chatter all day. Fireflies twinkle with the stars at night. Flowering plants line the perimeter of the property as you walk through the grove following the sound of the Atlantic and behold 5 minutes later a majestic almost uninhabited uninterrupted coast unfolds in either direction allowing you to see the morning sunrise and evening sunset. Also included in this magnificent vista are Punta Ballena and Punta Del Este punctuating how private your location is but yet so close to other places of interest. Even closer and more quaint than Punta del Este is our new favorite town in 🇺🇾 of Piriàpolis. The drive there winds through vineyard covered hills and pastures… Being our second trip to Uruguay we’d experienced hotels, condos and cottages so when I saw the Dome listing I knew it would be a great new experience. Fede the owner and builder of the structure was great in communicating throughout the entire booking process and was there to greet us warmly upon our arrival and was available to assist during the stay. Natural light, great breeze, great kitchen, don’t leave 🇺🇾 without a stay in the Dome!!!
