Our hosts were amazing! They provided touring suggestions, welcomed us with open arms and even provided wine & a water bottle. Our place was absolutely beautiful. It had a Portuguese feel with a newly renovated structure. ( blend of Both). We had a garden and a place to relax outside after a busy day of sight seeing. It is in the historic are of Evora so walking is perfect. We loved the place and especially our gracious and informative hosts. Recommended for a stay!

This property is unique given its location and all its amenities. The unit is much more spacious than the pictures. The balconies in the living room and bedroom overlook a pedestrian street, steps from shops the locals patronize like the gelateria, bookstore yet a few blocks from the tourist drag. Even with windows open, the unit is very private as the side of a church is directly across you. While the unit is in a really old building (sits directly on top of centuries old stone arcades), Luisa offered EVERYTHING we needed. Well functioning A/C, Washer/dryer combo (plus drying rack out the back window), full size Bosch dishwasher. Garage parking available a block away. The unit was super clean and smelled clean. It exuded pride in both practical and “nice to have” details - crisp and monogrammed linens, real plants, coffee table books on the local area. The kitchen was beyond well appointed - covered every possible need down to thermometer and decanter, nutcrackers, chip clips (!), All helpful with our leisurely 4 night pace. While the apartment has a keypad and Luisa could have done the usual “self check in”, she met us, walked us to the parking garage and through the unit, offered local wine and bottled water as we started our stay. I didnt realize how much I missed that kind of host until I met her!! She was very thorough and beyond transparent (be careful with pigeon poop, garage gate work, etc). Very responsive even with minor questions. Thanks Luisa!

We had a wonderful stay at Pateo dos Oliverias! Luis and Antonia were incredible hosts and their home was very comfortable and inviting. Excellent location, easy parking nearby, walkable to everything. We were traveling with children so the double beds, balcony, pool, courtyard and A/C were very helpful. I would highly recommend this vacation home. Thank you Luis and Antonia!

My partner and I loved this place! The owners met us when we first arrived and made us feel immediately welcome. They provided us a handy list of things to do and places to see while we were there. Our first night stay was peaceful and quiet. Having this charming place to come home to after our sightseeing made the whole experience even better. Also, there's a small grocery store nearby with all you need to cook a nice meal in the kitchen, if you want. We ate in a few times in the downstairs section and had a friend over as well. We highly recommend this place.

We tend to try to stay places that aren’t in the thick of all the hustle and bustle and this place is exactly that. It’s literally in the most peaceful slice of paradise we have ever seen. The entire property is so beautiful almost unreal. Loved everything about this property From the trees, to the peaceful quietness,to the lake to the pool which was so amazing! We saw some Beautiful sunsets overlooking the lake listening to the crickets, frogs and cows! The owner Johanna greeted us as soon as we pulled in and made us feel so welcomed and part of the family. She even gave us a little tour of the property and shared a lot of the history with us. Max the very sweet ranch dog also took us for many walks on the property, she came to our door every morning and waited for us to come outside. If you are looking for a warm friendly place to recharge and get away from it all.. this is the place! If we ever get to return to Portugal we will definitely stay here again! Heads up google maps takes you on a little adventure getting there so don’t put the address in until you reach the town of Montemor.
