Vacation rentals near Hadrian's Wall

A lovely cottage with very friendly and helpful hosts. The weather was very kind and we were able to take advantage of the garden and local walks. The local shop was well stocked.

Such a lovely cosy cottage, we had a super chilled out break with the dogs .the cottage had everything we needed .was very clean on our arrival. Access to walks ,penrith and carlisle was great .lovely peaceful little village. The village shop is well stocked .and the fox and pheasent is great for food .we had a lovely time .thanks to our hosts

The cabin was absolutely spotless! All the necessities we needed including a little basket of tea coffee and biscuits. The hosts were the most attentive people, going above and beyond. The gents in the bait shop were so helpful in explaining the fishing to us and showed us the ropes. Can't wait to book again.

Lovely Hosts,Nice and quiet and peaceful.The stables studio had everything you could want and at a very reasonable price .We enjoyed the local walks from the doorstep,the village although down a steep hill had all the amenities you could require.Three pubs,a co op ,fish and chip shop ,cafes ,post office etc.Hexham is only a few miles away ,shops, supermarkets. Pubs , restaurants etc.Lovely countryside and villages in the area and not forgetting Hadrian's Wall.If you require a peaceful break ,then I can recommend The Stables Studio .The owners have a couple of ponies stabled next door but we didn't experience any noise etc and they were lovely .B&R

My wife & I spent three nights here during our UK vacation. Very well maintained and equipped property, beautiful scenery, good location.

This place is heaven on earth. Absolutely stunning grounds and the cottage is gorgeous! Immaculate! Paul and Julie welcomed us on arrival and were so informative. Hillary went out of her way to take us to get groceries as we were without acar. Loved them all! We can't say enough good about these folks. Would definitely stay there again!

A very pleasant stay in this clean comfortable and well equipped house. Cosy evenings by the fire watching some of its extensive DVD collection. Definitely visit the Pheasant Inn for great food - really recommend the game pie ( and fish pie). Also get some food to eat in from the Bellingham Craft Butchers and nearby Greengrocers - both sell exceptional local produce that put supermarket food to shame. We stocked up to bring some home. The local countryside is magnificent. We will explore more in our next visit.
