  • Beautiful house with awesome view

"We had the best time. Gerold and Fabienne were great hosts. We were there for a 50th wedding celebration and had several generations there, everyone had a fabulous time . Gerold and Fabienne surprised my parents with flowers and balloons. what a great way to start out. It was quiet and allowed us time to relax. some of us didn't even leave. They said " why leave when we have everything here." We went fishing, swimming, kayaking. and golfing right there at the house, and the theater room and pool table were hits later in the evening. We saw dolphins right in front of the dock every morning. This was a perfect fit for our family. were planning a return visit within the year,. best kept secret of St. Pete. We LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! • Lovely spot in quaint Gulfport

"We enjoyed our week at Lysa's sweet home in Gulfport. It is conveniently located, well appointed, and all is in good working order. The listing was accurate in all respects, and the property was clean and well maintained. Lysa was very responsive and friendly, and provided great recommendations for dinner spots. Although our home is only 5 miles away, this was a lovely place to get away from it all."

  • A Nice Florida Vacation

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A private and well appointed living area located on the second floor behind the primary home with a privacy fence and large courtyard to park your car and relax outdoors. Located in a quaint neighborhood with the friendly Gulfport community only a block away."

  • Gypsy Landing is great for a winter get-away

"Enchanting was the word I thought of when I first saw a photo of the house, and it was an enchanting place to be. Located on 54th Street South, it is only a short block away from Beach Boulevard and the many restaurants and shops as well as the Tuesday Fresh Market and the Art Walks. It was so nice to be able to walk over there or down to the beach and pier. It was a great home for a winter stay in Gulfport. I spent two months in the house and enjoyed it very much. It can be chilly in Gulfport in January and February and the house is heated by two electric fireplaces as well as additional heaters. Only the first night was kind of cold as the temperature dropped to 36 degrees, which was quite unusual. Melissa brought over quilts and additional heaters to make me comfortable. That can happen in Florida. I enjoyed breakfast as well as drinks and appetizers on the charming back patio. The backyard is lush and green with oranges growing from several trees. The house was roomy and comfortable. Melissa has done a wonderful job of fixing up the place. I enjoyed reading the framed history of the house. I also enjoyed the selection of reading material. I read the book about Provincetown by Michael Cunningham as well as "The Hungry Ocean" by Linda Greenlaw. It would be nice to have more dishes. There should be at least 12 lunch size plates and 8 large dinner plates. Additional cups and some small bowls would be nice too. I had two guests for a few days and we kept having to re-wash dishes. The bed is comfortable and offers options for a variety of blankets and quilts. I always bring my own pillows. Pillow protectors would be nice as would a mattress pad on the bed. Melissa made sure my requests for safety in the shower were taken care of, which I very much appreciated. There was a rubber mat in the tub as well as grab bars and the bathroom had excellent lighting. I am a writer and set up my computer on the dining room table. I was comfortable working there. Overall, I can say I really enjoyed my stay at Gypsy Landing."
