  • Excellent Location

"Only steps from the beach and pool, this unit had the access we were looking for. 3 sizable bedrooms with their own bathrooms is a plus. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars to this property is that it could use some updating. Don't get me wrong everything was exceptionally cared for and clean. However, an overall updating of this this property would be a good move at some point in the future. Still the same we would stay there again with out any changes. Several personal touches by the owner and her associates were greatly appreciated, including a walk through upon arrival and multiple texts to make sure we contacted her if we needed anything. If you like a peaceful, quiet beach with a clean, well cared for condo, don't wait. Book it today!"

  • Another wonderful stay! Third year in a row.

"This is our 3rd return to this unit and we've already planned to return again in 2017. Each year our stay is longer and next year we wished we could stay all month! Lovely decorations, fantastic views of the pool and ocean. Great porch overlooking the pool where we had breakfast and lunch nearly each day. So much to see nearby there's never enough time. Old Fernandina, just down the road, is wonderful for lunch or dinner while strolling all the shops and viewing the historic buildings. This year we got to tour the Amelia Island Light house which is a must do lecture and tour! The beach is a short stroll from the pool and a great place to take naps, catch up on some reading or just watch the surf. Everything was as advertised and Tony goes out of his way each year to ensure our stay is memorable for all the right reasons. Cable modem went out and he had it replaced within the hour! Can't say enough. FIVE STARS for sure! Attention to details and personal service can't be beat."

  • We were very impressed with the comfortable, relaxing atmosphere of the entire complex.

"We found the unit exactly as described and represented in the photos, except the grill (would have been nice to know beforehand that it's not available). The condo was clean, well-stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen, baths and entertainment-wise. There were plenty of towels, dishes, cooking utensils, and serving dishes. It was especially nice that previous guests had left things like spices, leftover dry goods, like rice, lentils, even margarita salt! The beds and furniture were in good condition and comfortable. There were also plenty of cleaning products and paper products so you can clean up as you go. We found the beach equipment and sand toys wonderful as we had our 4 yr old grandson come stay for a few days. The beach was wonderful and there are so many places to go and things to do on the island that you don't have to "cross the big bridge" until you have to go home. We plan to come back again if the island survived Hurricane Mathew, and we would definitely recommend Summer Beach Resort."

  • Better in person!

"The photographs don’t do the condo justice, it’s much nicer in person. There have been some updates to furnishings since the photos were taken. We enjoyed lunches at Café Karibo and Tasty’s Burgers and picked up provisions for Twi-light Happy Hours on the balcony at Publix on our way back from town. Their cakes and ice creams are delicious. One night, we saw fireworks on the beach from the balcony. The condo had a supply of games and DVDs to enjoy when we had enough of the sun. We spend a day in St. Augustine and picked up a bushel of fresh, delicious citrus to snack on."
