  • Summertime Get Away

"This listing was just as pictured and was well-maintained. Although there were only 5 of us, it was nice having 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. We stayed here after rafting at Ohiopyle and then spent the next day Clay Shooting and doing other activities at Seven Springs. The patio off the main living area is small but has a great view. I had no problems communicating with the owner. I would recommend this place to friends and relatives."

  • Thanksgiving Holidays at Helen's Hide Inn

"We just spent a relaxing Thanksgiving holidays at Helen’s Hide Inn. There were 12 of us from three different families. We picked Helen’s Hide Inn because it was centrally located between the families and it had the bedrooms (5) and baths (5) that we needed. The Inn was very comfortable for all of us with a large family room and two full kitchens. The furnishings are comfortable and the downstairs rooms are large so that our large group never felt cramped. The day after Thanksgiving we visited the Frank Lloyd Wright house at Falllingwater, which I highly recommend. The only issues to be aware of is that the house is next to a busy road so at night you can hear the cars passing. Also the bedrooms are small but adequate since if you are there you will want spend your time in the family room or outside. I highly recommend Helen’s Hide Inn and look forward to going there next year."

  • A lovely place, very welcoming!

"You smile when you walk in. It was decorated for the Christmas holiday, which was so nice. This experience was unique in that the owner thought of everything, and then some. We were very comfortable in her home, and enjoyed it very much. We read her books, watched her movies, and best of all, the master bed was fabulously comfortable. That's a rarity. Two things were clear: she wants her guests to enjoy the same amenities that she enjoys (cotton sheets, Keurig, provided fireplace logs, etc.), and I believe she extends herself to ensure your stay is a happy and memorable experience. We highly recommend!"

  • Beautiful, peaceful riverside retreat

"Paddler's Lane Bed & Breakfast is definitely one that we would come back to again and again. The home and property are stunningly beautiful and welcoming. The rustic interior made us feel like we were at home and the caretaker, Dan, could not have been more hospitable. He made us very comfortable and was very easy to converse with. The peaceful setting of the house next to the river and railroad tracks make it very enjoyable to sit outside or go for a walk on the property. We highly recommend this B & B to anyone looking for a peaceful place to get away."
