  Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay this weekend at Casa Bahama. The upper level was great for our family gathering to celebrate my daughters college graduation. The lower level was great for those who wanted to stay up late and sleep in. Private baths in everyone is a bit plus! Beautiful accommodations. The property is like having a private hotel. Beautiful beach sunsets too. Our thanks to the owners for being so accommodating and sharing their fabulous property with us.

  We love this place! This summer was our second vacation here and we were not disappointed. The house is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook (pots, pans utensils etc.) The view is gorgeous and even cleaning up in the beautiful kitchen becomes fun. We have an extended family of 12 with 6 young kids and there is plenty of room for everyone, and space to spread out and have alone time when needed. We can watch the kids on the beach from the house if we are not down there with them. The owners are wonderful to work with. The house is close to markets, Channel Islands Harbor and our favorite, the brand new Topper's Pizza, which is in the harbor. We always go there for pizza one night. We would highly recommend this vacation house to anyone with a large group of people as long as no one has a problem getting up and down stairs. Don't forget to bring bath soap and detergent for laundry. Pretty much everything else is provided.

  Casa Bahamas was perfect for our family reunion. It is truly a luxury beach front property that accomoodated 13 of us comfortably. It was nice to relax on the beach and watch our 7 year old play on the swings close by. The listing description and pictures reflect the property pretty well. Cathy was easy to contact by email; and responded to my emails quickly when I had any questions or concerns. We had no concerns requiring to contact her via phone during our stay. There are many restaurants and stores close by and we even spent one day at Universal Studios. Although, we were all content to spend most of our time on the beach or patio. Our older children ages 14-20 enjoyed playing football and swimming in the ocean. My husband and I enjoyed the romantic walks on the beach. We also loved that it wasn't crowded. I have recommended this listing to my friends and family, and have plans to return.

  We rented the "Casa Bahama Grand" for a week vacation for our family. We had 9 adults and 2 children in our group. From the time I started emailing Cathy about renting until I returned home and sent a "Thank You" email for a fantastic time she was so helpful. Every email I sent was answered immediatly. When we arrived I did have the pleasure of meeting her and she is as nice as I had expected. We flew into the Santa Barbara Airport which is an easy 40 minute dirve south to Oxnard. Coming and going from a small airport has its advantages. The condo was everything it is pictured to be and more.There are plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, pans etc. All the appliances are clean and run well. There was a full propane tank for the gas grill, which we used just about everyday. The grocery store is about 5 minutes away and has everything you could want. The views from the condo are stunning. There is a huge table in the kitchen that seats at least 10- we all could sit and eat and not be crowded. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds and pillows were. You never hear that. The lay out is perfect for lots of people.Tthere was plenty of room and we could all find space if needed. Having your own bathrooms was a plus as well. There were plenty of towels. The beach is right off the patio as pictured. This made it hard to leave and go exploring. We did go into Oxnard and went to a winery. That was fun. We picked up a wine tour phamplet for others. We went to Venture one day also. It has a very nice downtown with interesting shops. Most of all we stayed on the beach. My husband thought that we could stay a couple of blocks from the beach and it wouldn't make any difference. After we arrived he said thank you for getting this place! He loved it. Another comment made was that we should make this a yearly trip. Maybe not every year but every other is a possibility! I highly recommend "Casa Bahama Grand" not only for the location and views but because Kathy and Peter are wonderful to rent from!

  Everything about our experience was outstanding! The home is beautifully appointed. We had twelve family members ranging from three year olds to seniors. Our adult children were the first to arrive. They called us and said, "Wow, wow, wow!!" That could sum it up for the entire family! We have taken many family beach vacations over the years, but none of them compared to this. The pictures really don't do it justice. It just couldn't have been more perfect. The owners were unbelievable, even to updating on information regarding a "Santa flyby" on Christmas Eve. Our family described as their best Christmas ever!

  We had a family reunion of 13 people at this house and we absolutely loved the location! Neighborhood is quiet and the house literally sits right on the beach. My favorite part is listening to the ocean waves as I fall asleep at night then waking up to the sight of the beach and ocean waves. We can even see pods of dolphins swim by! I can watch my kids play on the sand from the patio. The photos here clearly reflect the rental house and the kitchen was well stocked for us to cook many of our own meals during our stay. This is a 3 story house - we rented the 1st and 2nd floor, with plenty of room for all 13 of us. We didn't go sightseeing much while we were there, except a visit to the Getty Villa in Malibu, which was a beautiful drive from Oxnard on PCH. I highly recommend this house!

  Wonderful accomodations for families and friends. Great kitchen with a view of the ocean...what could be better watch the waves as you prepare dinner! Only steps to be on the sand and surf. The owners are very pleasant and helpful.

  We had a wonderful stay at this "on the sand" condo. The owners are very easy to work with and flexible. Later, our daughter rented it for a business retreat and was pleased as well. Great property!
