We were able to spend a couple of days at Wintergreen after Christmas and couldn't have picked a better house to be at for our stay. The location was great and we loved the layout and furniture of the home. The online description was extremely accurate and the short walk to the slopes was very nice. When we arrived the hosue was very clean and communication with the owner was excellent. The ski conditions were great and we hope to come back again. Thanks for making this a great time away from home.

We had a wonderful stay at this house! Ideal location for us to attend a wedding at Beech Grove Church and the reception at the Mountain Inn. The shuttle picked us up at the house for our transportation needs. The house had a very pleasing layout, we loved the roomy family room, hot tub, loft space and the convenience of individual zone heating controls. Very clean and well maintained. The owners were prompt and extremely helpful when inquiring about the property. Hope to return some day! Highly recommended!

Our family had a fantastic white Christmas in Wintergreen and loved the house! It was very relaxing and has a great floor plan. Our son thought it was "awesome" that he got his own floor with his own t.v. We arrived after the winter blast just before Christmas and I was very relieved to see that the driveway was already shoveled. We had a difficult time, with a 2 hour delay coming up the mountain so we were very very grateful that the handyman was there getting the driveway ready for us! We would love to go back for another visit!! Prime location for the wintergreen resort yet tucked away and very private!!
Owner response:Hi Amanda, As you know we also arrived in the biggest snowstorm in decades. The huge snowstorms in December, January and February this season has created the best conditions ever. There will be plenty of snow in March, so please join us again for a discounted weekend in March! Our housekeepers are great and I'm so happy they could help make your stay a special one given the 3 feet of snow we received in the first storm and another 3-4 feet in February. We stayed at your house twice this fall and enjoyed it both times. The beds are very comfortable and I enjoyed the hot tub. I hope we will get the opportunity to stay again.

We absolutely LOVED the house. The spacious living area was perfect for conversation. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were soft (not always a given in a rental, thank you). Also, the house is open, airy and impeccably clean. I have allergies, and often have issues in new places, but this house is very allergy friendly. Thank you so much --it was fabulous amidst the most amazing fall foliage!

The cleaning crew we have is fantastic, they deep clean everything and I'm glad to hear your allergies didn't bother you! We visited Monticello and the historic district in Charlottesville.

Great house, spacious, lovely living room, updated kitchen w/ everything you need. Comfortable beds, lots of peace and quiet w/ a large hot tub for fun. Highly recommend it!

Had a great time at Wintergreen! Loved the house--the upstairs was perfect for the kids and there was plenty of room. Nice open floor plan for visiting and well-stocked. Lake Monocan and Paul's Creek were a big hit too. Lots of historical sites in the area. Thanks for a great week!
